About: I have been taking care of dogs for most of my adult years. I have had all of my dogs from the time they were small puppies until they have become adult and senior dogs. I have worked with both large and small breeds, such as Beagles and German Shepherds. I currently foster/volunteer for Rescue One and enjoy every minute of it. To ensure you and your pet are comfortable, I provide a free meet and greet. I am available early mornings, late afternoons, and evenings during the week. I am more flexible with times on the weekends. However, please feel free to message your needs and I will see if I can accommodate. I am accustomed to set schedules with pets, enrichment, and exercise. I practice strict leash security and will double check all gates, fence, and doors before leaving. There will be 100% transparency and regular, proactive communication with frequent updates and photos or videos. I will adhere to all instructions and specific routines and rules. I am always prompt and respectful.
“Lisa is an outstanding pet sitter. She showered my elderly cat with attention and spent extra time comforting and playing with him. Lisa gave my cat multiple medications for his advanced age health conditions without any issues. I wholeheartedly recommend Lisa for your pet sitting needs!”

“Amazing! Brooke was professional and went above and beyond. She even brought my rained-on packages inside to dry. She was able to ensure my pets got their meds and food as needed.”
“Maddison stopped to play with Oakley for the second time today. I love seeing the photos she sends while I’m at work. Since I work in the ICU, I have long shifts and can’t always stop to answer questions. She’s learned his ways quickly and I feel confident he’s enjoying his time with her! Thank you Maddison!!”

About: I have raised all 3 of my dogs since they were puppies. They’re very active so I love to exercise with them and teach them all the skills! I think structure and routine are the best ways for them to learn, especially puppies! They’re practically babies! I treat all my dogs like they’re my kids. They truly are a part of my family! I go to college Monday-Friday 8am-12pm. I could walk or come do a check in any of those days after noon! If I’m house sitting I can do any day through the week, I just wouldn’t be home till 2-3 in the afternoon since sometimes I stay at school and study. I could always go back to your house to let them out to potty or play with them and then go back and study! I will always follow any rule you set. The routine you set would be followed to a T. I’m am reliable and very trustworthy. Like I said I treat my own dogs like my kids and I would do the same for yours!!
“Stephanie was an amazing cat sitter for Meggie and Susie during our six-day trip! She provided regular updates, including pictures and notes, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she truly cared for our cats, giving them attention, playtime, and making sure they were comfortable. We came home to two happy and well-cared-for kitties, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We highly recommend Stephanie and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“We are delighted with the service Katelyn provided. We have a very shy cat who needs daily medication. We were concerned he would run and hide from a new person, but Karelyn was very patient, and he ended up taking right to her. We will certainly have her back!”

“Breelyn did an amazing job taking care of my energetic puppy! She was punctual and communicated very well. She sent pictures and updates after each visit. I will definitely have her help me out again next time!”

“Olivia watched over our fur baby with the utmost care and diligence! Her reports were thorough, and her communication was spectacular. This was the longest my husband and I had left our cat, and we were nervous about it. Olivia put our minds to ease because of her open communication and frequent updates. We knew our boy was getting the best care possible, so we could truly relax and enjoy our trip. She truly went above and beyond, not just keeping our cat happy and healthy, but Olivia also took care of our home and kept it tidy and clean. I cannot recommend her enough! She truly cares about the pets she watches, and she is just a genuinely kind and dedicated person. You will not be disappointed by booking with her!”
“Meryk did a great job making sure Big Boy was happy and cared for while I was at work. He even stayed a few extra minutes extra to play with the cat wand and sent pictures! 10/10 will hire again.”

About: I've had dogs and cats in my life since I was born. I started helping with their care since I was a young child, including sitting with the family dog who was had siezures. More recently in the last 10 years, giving my, (since passed), elderly dog his eyedrops and pills. Dogs and cats are hilarous creatures that deserve love, patience, kindess and respect of their boundaries. Paw parents guidleines and rules for their furry family members will always be followed. I'm flexible with the animal care as I do not have a 9-5 and with working holidays. I keep my animals on a routine schedule and understand that animals need routine to thrive. I am happy to help you keep that routine for your household, as long as there is availability in the schedule. Whatever the rules and guidelines that are given by the paw parents for the care of their animals will be followed. If an animal is highly stressed, they are given the space they need or taken out of the enviroment that is stressing them, ( ex: a reactive dog seeing another dog and is starting to reach their threshold will be redirected or taken out of the enviroment.)
“Kellie was such a great pet sitter for our old kitty. We had to travel for a while and for the first half, we were going to have a family member check on our cat but they canceled last minute. Kellie was extremely flexible and understanding and came to visit our cat even super last moment. She was very kind to our cat during the visits and made sure she had lots of physical and social time since our kitty can get lonely. I always looked forward to Kellie’s Rover cards- they were humorous and entertaining, while easing our minds. Thank you Kellie!”

“Meredith is wonderful and has been such a huge help to Jax and I! She is prompt, thorough and communicative every time she drops in to check on him and always makes sure he gets plenty of attention along with the basics I request of her. It's obvious she has a large capacity of care for the animals she provides case to and I don't think I could have made a better decision for a sitter. ❤️ ? Thank you, Meredith!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life! My first pup that was actually mine was a Great Dane named Mazie. So I've definitely had experience with big dogs and am pretty comfortable with them. I've also owned pit bulls that ended up having puppies so I've been able to experience the complete dog journey from newborn to final bark. ( :( ) I do work full time but am able to do a drop-in during my lunch hour if needed. I'm also available most nights and weekends! I do work full time down town, but I get a one hour lunch break and can let your pet out or go on walks during that time! My evenings and weekends are generally free to help with pet care! I don’t have a fence, but I have a nice full yard and my dog Laney is super friendly and will keep your pup company!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Battlefield. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
