About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds, plus have years of pet sitting experience for friends & family, even interned at the Dickerson Park Zoo for a summer! Im just new to Rover! I love animals, of all kinds and sizes! I can’t wait to meet you & your pet or pets! I have a pretty flexible schedule, I take care of my own pets daily along with running errands and other daily activities. Pets have always been a big part of my daily life! I unfortunately can’t do boarding but I will gladly stay at your home to make your babies as comfortable as possible! Meeting before you leave allows us to go over their normal routines, feeding, what they love to play. I will gladly dance or sing for your dog to get them to sing, tell me all about your pets silly quirks! Honestly, with my pets weird habits or quirks, nothing phases me anymore! I will not ever judge you for making up a dance just to get your pet to eat.
“I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Samantha!!! My mom lives in Aurora Mo and I live 9 hours away in Wisconsin, my mom ended up in the hospital and I had no one to go let her dogs out. Samantha answered my message for help in just minutes saying she could assist with taking care of the dogs. She was even able to let them out and feed them the SAME NIGHT as my distress message. Set up 2 more visits for the next day as well because my dad wouldn’t be home until later that night. Samantha made me feel so at ease with entering my mom’s house without meeting her, taking care of my mom’s dogs that are her babies and locking back up! I was grateful for the pictures she sent of them so I knew they did indeed go potty. I sent the pictures to my mom and she cried knowing they were being well taken care of. She only gets filtered clean cold water. She has the highest quality dog food and treats. She has an orthopedic memory form bed to sleep on. She has a custom harness with her name and my number. I promise I will take care of your animal just as well as I take care of mine. I work full time. From 7-3 but after I am free. I can let your dog out before work and after. Spend the evening there if needed. Walk, water, feed, and administer medicine. I have an orthopedic memory foam bed because my dog is big. She gets filtered, cold water. Highest quality kibble. Salmon skin for dog treats. Daily walks.

I naturally have a calm, peaceful presence, so I would be a great match for your anxious, senior, shy, low energy or more laid-back dogs or cats. What sets me apart is that I work remotely, which allows me to be present with pets throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. This gives me the availability to respond to their needs, routines, and energy levels. I’ve had experience with animals for many years. I previously owned a black lab named Aurora, and I currently have an orange cat of my own. I also have regularly helped care for my mother’s two dogs — a Maltese Schnauzer and a Golden Retriever — and I’ve looked after my sister’s dog multiple times in the past as well. Animals tend to gravitate toward me because I pay close attention to their body language, boundaries, and personalities. I’m very mindful of their cues and comfort levels, which helps me understand what they need more or less from me. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’d be happy to give your pet the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. If I’m housesitting, I’m practically readily available. I work a full-time remote job that would allow me to be present and handle the tasks needed to care for your pets. I would have time to see them in intervals multiple times a day with no problem and with plenty of time for play. But if I do drop in visits, I can do 2-3 drop in’s a day. 1st at 7:00-8:00a, 2nd at 11a-1:30p and 3rd at 4:30p-10p - depending on my work schedule and the daily demand. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the understanding that it is first and foremost your pet’s home and safe environment. I’m very respectful of both the home and the routines that your pet is used to. I keep the environment calm, clean, and consistent so your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and house rules. I aim to maintain the same peaceful atmosphere your pet is used to. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for, while also treating your home with the same respect I would my own.
