“Olivia was the perfect person for my senior dog! She knew I was nervous about leaving him and she sent pictures every day of our trip! He did so well and I will definitely be using her again!”

“Ashlyn and her pets were fantastic with my sometimes-reactive dog. She listened to my cautious instructions and made sure my dog had a warm start-up to his week-long stay. Thank you!! Will be returning in the future :).”

“Molly provided excellent care for our Corgi. I received pictures and notes keeping me updated. I was concerned that our pickup time might change due to airline changes and she was flexible to work with me. I very much appreciated the love she provided.”

“Olive and Wilma seemed to have really enjoyed themselves while with Megan and her family. Great communication and flexibility when I had a family emergency come up. Will absolutely use Megan and her family again 😁”

“Our pups are our furkids, so we have been hesitant to leave them for too long. Generally they travel with us, but this trip did not allow that. Jennifer was easy to meet with and set us at ease. She kept us updated with photos and information. Dogs came home happy and tired. We'll plan to have them stay again for future travel that doesn't allow them to come along.”

“Sydney and her husband are amazing! They provided great updates while my dog was with them and were so flexible and understanding when I accidentally booked wrong, and they let my dog stay another night! I’m so grateful to them!”

“Cierra and her family were amazing to my super timid/anxious dog Mags. Mags got to enjoy the farm life while I was gone for 6days. I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing my dog was well taken care of. Cierra is everything you’re looking for! THANK YOU ❤️”

“Michelle and her family provided a warm, welcoming home for our dog during a full week-long stay. We received daily updates, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our dog came home happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Michelle again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter.”

“Gerrad provided excellent care for my dog for over a week. Gerrad sent daily texts about his day and many pictures during the stay. I highly recommend Gerrad as you can be assured of the very best attention and care for your pet. It’s truly a blessing to have no worries about your pet when you are away! Excellent experience!”

“It is so nice to be able to leave Major (7 month old pup) in a safe place knowing that he is happy, running and playing with the other dogs. While also learning to be around small children. Mickayla is wonderful and incredibly kind and gracious.”

About: I have cared for pets all my life. I have always had a dog or 2 in my house that are spoiled and had me well trained. I owned a dog boarding, daycare, and grooming business in Ozark for 8 years.. I retired about four years ago. Since I am retired, I am home most of the day, except for a few errands to run occasionally. I live alone with two senior dogs who get along with most other animals. There are no children in the house. My home is all one level, with a fully fenced backyard. Fur babies cared for in my home have free run of the house, are allowed to be on the furniture, (unless the owner request differently). I am capable of crating your loved one if they are already crate trained… Your fur babies will get lots of love and ear scratches. I’m experienced in various diets and food prep along with medication’s, including injections.
“We left our dog here for the weekend with Laura and Nash and Laura sent us videos and pictures the entire time! Ozzy had a great time and is pooped from playing all weekend. She even brushed him before we picked him up, which was super nice! Will definitely use Laura again :)”

“Tiffany is a joy and truly loves the pets she cares for. Our pet was well cared for and had such a great experience with Tiffany. She is excellent at communicating and keeping us up-to-date! She went out of her way to provide the best service and care for our pet!! We are so glad we met her and will definitely reach out to her again!”
“Michael and Jackie were great at caring for my pup Jackson. It was nice to feel reassurance that I left him in good hands with pictures they sent shortly after I left. When I ran into troubles with drop off times they were understanding and helped work with me. If I need to have my pup stay somewhere overnight they'll be one of my go-tos.”

I am a professional who works from home and will provide your pup with excellent care.I live with my female Siberian Husky who does amazing with all dogs, big or small. She is gentle and kind. Not territorial. She loves playmates! Your pet will have free range of my safe and well maintained house and yard. I have a doggie door to the backyard which closes if you prefer I walk out back with your pup instead. I am very accommodating and respectful of your wishes. Although I do not crate my dog, you are more than welcome to bring yours if that’s what your pup prefers. Otherwise, dogs are welcome to sleep where they like. Please provide me with your dogs food, treats and bowls.
About: Hello! My name is Brooke and I have a precious English Springer Spaniel and had a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. I am a big dog lover and take my dog everywhere she can go with me! We love to hike, go biking, chase squirrels and the next door neighbors dog! I love spending time with animals, period, whether it’s playing with them or just taking them on a much needed walk! I also have house sat/pet sat for various families over the years and am extremely flexible with whatever families need. I have house sat/puppy sat from just a couple nights to several months at a time. I offer services of walking, in-home visits, over-night stays and quite frankly am flexible with any other situations that may come up! Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I currently work full time and even though I love puppies, would prefer to watch dogs that have a well established routine and can be ok for sometime alone before I can come and walk them and play with them. This is part of my personal routine with my own puppy. At this time I do not have a fenced in yard at my own home, so talking my dog for a long walk on the trails near my house is a must! For families where I am watching not only their animal but their home, I like to work within their animals normal routine so as not to add any more stress to the owners or the animal.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
