About: ~~ I’m the perfect sitter for your anxious, mellow or chill or senior dog as I have a calm and peaceful presence. ~~ What sets me apart is that I work remotely, which allows me to be present with pets throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. This gives me the flexibility to respond to their needs, routines, and energy levels. I’ve had experience with animals for many years. I previously owned a black lab named Aurora, and I currently have an orange cat of my own. I also regularly help care for my mother’s two dogs — a Maltese Schnauzer and a Golden Retriever — and I’ve looked after my sister’s dog multiple times in the past as well. Animals tend to gravitate toward me because I pay close attention to their body language, boundaries, and personalities. I’m very mindful of their cues and comfort levels, which helps me understand what they need and how they’re feeling. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’d be happy to give your pet the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. If I’m housesitting, I’m practically readily available. I work a full-time remote job that will still allow me to be present and handle the tasks needed to care for your pets. I would have time to see them in intervals multiple times a day with no problem and with plenty of time for play. But if drop in visits, I can do 2-3 drop in’s. 1st at 7:30-8:30a, 2nd at 11a-1:30p and 3rd at 4:30p-10p - depending on my work schedule and the daily demand. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the understanding that it is first and foremost your pet’s home and safe environment. I’m very respectful of both the home and the routines that your pet is used to. I keep the environment calm, clean, and consistent so your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and house rules. I also avoid loud noise or disruptions and aim to maintain the same peaceful atmosphere your pet is used to. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for, while also treating your home with the same respect I would my own.

“We have one easy dog (though not too easy because he is still a puppy and not fully potty trained) and a challenging 5 year old maltese that doesn't trust easily. Leaving him has always been a challenge. We've never felt so comfortable being gone from him as when Lael had him. I don't mind being away from him but I worry about him being trouble for the person keeping him. He wasn't an easy keep for her but she was so open to letting him warm up and adjust to her. By the last couple days he was snuggling on her lap and following her around like he does with me. She also was great with our puppy and continuing his potty training. He in particular loved running in her big, fenced yard with her dogs and having access to a doggy door. While we were gone she sent videos and pictures and gave us regular updates. About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and enjoy spoiling them. I have two dogs and a chinchilla. We’ve previously owned cats as well but don’t have any in the home currently. I work Monday through Friday and have holidays off, which gives me plenty of time to spend with our pups. When I’m not working, I love playing, cuddling, and making sure they feel loved and spoiled. I would love the opportunity to welcome your pups into our home, give them lots of attention, and make them feel like part of the family. We have a large, fenced-in backyard where dogs have plenty of space to run, play, and explore. The yard is enclosed with a 5-foot chain-link fence to help keep everyone safe, including our dog Pepper, who loves to jump. We’re located in a quiet subdivision outside of town, away from busy highways, allowing us to provide a peaceful and secure environment for your pups to enjoy.

About: From growing up with dogs to living and working at a mastiff rescue, and now sharing a life with my goofy, sweet blue heeler, Simone, my love for and experience with dogs runs deep. As a good friend once said, dogs can’t lie, and we can’t lie to them. Building trust is my first priority. I have a flexible work schedule with lots of daytime availability and am often available for overnights with notice. Weekdays and weekends open for scheduling. I have a large, fenced yard and a dog door in and out of the house with the option to close-off if necessary. I have one dog who loves new friends and sharing her toys.

About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have spent most of my life caring for and training them. My experience includes breeds such as American Staffordshire Terriers, Cane Corsos, and Pit Bulls, as well as many other types of dogs. I also fostered 12 dogs through the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, working with a wide range of breeds including Mastiffs, Huskies, Heelers, and Terriers. Through fostering, I’ve helped dogs recovering from hip surgeries, heartworm treatment, and other medical needs, while also learning how to adapt to different personalities, energy levels, and care requirements. Over the years, this experience has strengthened my ability to help all dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved! I'm available to board during the weekdays a majority of the time and sometimes weekends depending on availability. I'd be with your pet all day unless a quick grocery run or other short side quest. I have a fenced yard of about 0.40 acres, providing plenty of space for dogs to run and burn energy. My neighbor also has dogs, allowing for possible socialization if appropriate. I also have an XL crate available if needed, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for any dog. Otherwise, they would be with me playing and relaxing, if requested I can also walk with them and take them to some parks!
