“Katie took great care of my guinea pigs! Even when there was a small health problem, she handled it perfectly and I felt so much less nervous knowing she was taking care of them.”

“Adrienne was fantastic! We have a pretty anxious cat and she can be fiesty. She gave us updates during each visit, and was super respectful of our cat’s boundaries. Her top priority was making sure our cat felt comfortable while we were on our trip. I definitely would recommend her!”

“Julie is AMAZING! This was our very first time using the Rover app. and Julie was a perfect fit for our fur family while we were away. To be able to leave on a trip and not feel worried about your companions means so much. Julie is consistent, a great Communicator, and followed all our directions precisely. When we returned, our dogs were calm and happy to see us. From past experience this was not the case as we sensed our girls were stressed. Not with Julie! It was a flawless transition coming back home as if we never left. It was obvious she was in the moment with our girls every time she came to see them. We received pics and a video that allowed me to see how happy they all were. Julie is a gem for sure and a huge blessing to us! In our book she is the very best and we will use her services again. Thank you Julie! We appreciate you more than you know.”

“She is very attentive to the boys and with their age it can be a lot. She definitely seems to go above and beyond when she takes care of them. We used her previously and would use her again”

“Ashlyn was very responsive and was always on time and gave me multiple pictures so I always knew how things were at home when I was gone. It was a last minute booking and yet she still worked with me and made things happen and I couldn’t recommend a better person to watch a furry friend!”

“Amazing dog walker! She is so considerate with my dog Koda and always so detailed oriented in her responses. I can always rely on her for any last minute needs for Koda, and to take the best care of Koda. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Ana was great with our pups! They absolutely loved her. I appreciate that she was available for a meet & greet right away. This is my first time using the Rover app and will definitely use it (and Ana) when possible!! Thank you so much for the great pictures of the babies ❤️”

“Breelyn does great with my cats and took care of them well. In addition we made sure that my apartment was left secured and she insured that. We’ll be using her again for Christmas break!”

“Mikala did an amazing job dropping in and taking care of my 2 dogs!! One of my dogs is fairly skittish and Mikala helped her feel comfortable enough that she came right out by the end of the weekend. Highly recommend!”

“Garrett was great while giving our two Boxer dogs a potty break once a day for 2 weeks! He was patient with our youngest who was shy and would try to hide from him. He was also patient with our oldest, who is a typical Boxer and is very rambunctious! He also didn’t just let them out to potty, he played with them a bit, which we appreciated!! Garrett was prompt and respectful of our home; he cleaned up an accident on the first day when one of our dogs was excited to see him. He also communicated professionally and sent pictures daily. We hope to use Garrett is available again when we need pet services!!”

“Linda is the finest individual we have used for drop-in visits with our Maltipoo puppy, Maggie. She is full of love for all dogs. Totally dependable. My wife and I count her as a friend. Will definitely do future bookings with her.”

“Lacey is fantastic!! She's great at communication and always keeps me updated. And she goes above and beyond and treats my boys as if they were her own and my boys adore her for it! I know they are in good hands when I'm at work. She will always be our go to sitter as long as she's available. We absolutely love her!”

I am currently in college with mainly online classes so I have a very flexible schedule and tons and tons of time to come make sure everything is going well with your loved pets and play with them. I am capable of treating your pet with kindness, love and respect while also respecting and following any requests/rules you have. I am here to make your pet happy in any way possible
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 8 years old and have been house sitting and pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors for the past 5 years. Throughout that time, I’ve cared for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, or simply providing companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always strive to give owners peace of mind by providing dependable, attentive care. I typically work Saturday through Wednesday from 6:00am to 3:00pm. During these hours, I may be away for my shift, but I always make sure pets are cared for before I leave and immediately after I return. I plan my schedule around their needs as much as possible and communicate clearly with owners to ensure their pet’s routine stays consistent and comfortable. I care for pets by ensuring they are fed, have fresh water, receive plenty of exercise and attention, and feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s regular routine, so I always do my best to follow their schedule for meals, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and bedtime. I also have experience administering medications. I’ve cared for a diabetic dog that required medication every morning and evening, as well as a senior dog with arthritis who needed oral medication each night. I know how important consistency is, and I’m committed to following each pet’s care instructions closely to keep them happy, healthy, and comfortable.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
