About: I am a dependable and loving pet owner who treats every pet like family. I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I have always loved animals, growing up I've had cats, dogs, lizards, hamsters, ferrets.. I’m open to loving all kinds. I currently spoil my three cats and my two dogs, I couldn’t imagine life without them and will care for your pets the way I would want someone to care for mine. I have personal experience caring for high-energy dogs, gentle seniors, and cats with very different temperaments. Each pet has their own personality and needs. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet, and I always prioritize safety, communication, and consistency! I work weekdays in the morning/afternoon. I make my own schedule though so I can be flexible for potty breaks and pets needs. Available after 3pm weekdays and have full weekend availability. I have a fenced yard and two dogs and three cats. When away my dogs are allowed to roam but if your pet needs crated or their own space that is completely possible. I am very pet friendly and put my pets before anything, they will be well taken care of.
“Katelyn is great. She is reliable and willing to help with other things like collecting the mail. She also is usually available at short notice like when we had to extend our trip.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 years old! I am the trusted sitter, walker and caregiver to all my friends and families furry friends. I have experience with special needs cats and dogs including, medications, missing limbs, asthma care, puppies and senior care. I have 4 cats of my own, and I treat all pets like they are my own, they’ll love me as much as I’ll love them! I work full time M-F and am off by 3pm and have weekends free! I’m happy to pop in to check on your pets, watch them in your home, give them any medication or care they require and LOTS of love I treat every pet as if they were my own! I’ve never met a dog or cat that I didn’t love straight out of the gate!

“Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our fur babies when we can’t be there! We love the photos and communication letting us know how they are doing! You even cleaned the floor up after them which was a bit needed bonus! Thanks so much we look forward to having you watch them again!”

“Amanda did a great job! She had fantastic communication and I would 10/10 recommend her. Hopefully the next time we need someone to check on our fur babies, she will be available!”

“Steffany did a fantastic job with our two cats! She is a great communicator-we got wonderful photos & updates, she was able to give our older cat medication, and was just overall wonderful to work with. We will definitely use her in the future!”

“Breelyn's punctuality is unmatched! Our kitties are always excited to see her and she provides a ton of pictures of them during her visit! One of our cats is diabetic and Breelyn does such an amazing job injecting his medication and following his feeding schedule. So thankful for her flexibility as well, she's never turned down a visit 🩷”

“Garrett was great while giving our two Boxer dogs a potty break once a day for 2 weeks! He was patient with our youngest who was shy and would try to hide from him. He was also patient with our oldest, who is a typical Boxer and is very rambunctious! He also didn’t just let them out to potty, he played with them a bit, which we appreciated!! Garrett was prompt and respectful of our home; he cleaned up an accident on the first day when one of our dogs was excited to see him. He also communicated professionally and sent pictures daily. We hope to use Garrett is available again when we need pet services!!”

“Maddison stopped to play with Oakley for the second time today. I love seeing the photos she sends while I’m at work. Since I work in the ICU, I have long shifts and can’t always stop to answer questions. She’s learned his ways quickly and I feel confident he’s enjoying his time with her! Thank you Maddison!!”

“Morgan was very sweet and took great care of my cat. She took photos and videos for us, played with her, and cuddled with her. I deeply appreciate Morgan treating our baby just like her own. Highly recommend”

About: I’ve grown up with animals & love being with them. All breeds, no discrimation here! I never get tired of playing with them & treat every pet as if they were my own. I have 10+ years experience in the pet sitting for friends/family & have always had all kinds of animals myself. Experience potty training puppies, helping break bad habits of older dogs, administering medications. Experience with pocket pets as well. I’d love to be your sitter! I am out of town 2 weeks out of the month, but otherwise I can do mostly any day at any time. I would love to check in on your pets! Walking, playing, feeding dogs. Playing, feeding, entertaining cats. I can administer any medications that are needed. I always double check that house doors & kennel doors are secured before leaving. I love them like they’re my own!
“She is very attentive to the boys and with their age it can be a lot. She definitely seems to go above and beyond when she takes care of them. We used her previously and would use her again”

About: My experience includes years of boarding French Bulldogs and other breeds right alongside my daily routine. I know how important consistent bathroom breaks are, so I've always made it a priority to check in throughout the day to let dogs out when owners are gone. Every dog deserves attentive, reliable care — and that's exactly what I provide. As a remote worker, my schedule is flexible and dogs fit perfectly into my daily routine! I love getting outside and staying active, so walks are already a big part of my day. I can easily take calls and catch up on work while keeping your pup moving and entertained. Your dog won't just be watched — they'll be an active part of my day! I always trust and respect what the owner knows best about their dog. Every pup is different, and no one knows them better than their family. I also understand that I'm a stranger at first, so I never rush the process — I let the dog set the pace and come to me on their own terms. Building trust takes time and I'm always patient and respectful of every dog's boundaries.
“Our first experience with Rover. Anna has been awesome so far. The dogs absolutely love their daily visit. Good communicator which is so important to us and we are getting great Peace of mind knowing the babies have a visitor midday.”

About: I grew up with dogs, helping my parents raise English and French bulldogs for 10 years in our family kennel, which was USDA certified. I've always had at least two dogs in the house (plus the 32 we owned in the kennel!) and I now have two dogs of my own (ages 13 and 3) at home with my husband. I have been raising/house training dogs almost my entire life and I love them to pieces! I am experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes, and I love going on walks with them and playing with them. I am a stay at home mom, so I am almost always available, with the exception of Sundays between 10 am and 3 pm. Please drop off for a boarding stay or schedule a drop-in/dog walk time either before or after those times on Sundays. I am available for meet and greets every weekend and every weeknight after 5pm! I can't wait to love on your pup! I currently work from home on a flexible schedule: I can do drop-ins before 7:30am, on my lunch break at noon and after 5pm, and I'm available for drop off any time during the day if you let me know in advance. I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs who have separate sleeping spaces. All dogs eat in their crates (please bring a crate for boarding) and sleep in them at night with the exception of our shepsky who sleeps in our bedroom. Dogs can all be separated or together as needed and are free to go outside all day every day through the dog door.
“Brittney was so amazing. She went above and beyond my expectations. I will defiantly use her again. She even left my dog a goodie bag, and a thank you card. Rover please make sure take care of this employee. Brittney, thank you for all you did for my dog and I. Thank you for bringing in my hello fresh and putting it away. You are amazing.”

About: I’m an animal lover who truly enjoys spending time caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. While I haven’t owned a dog myself, I have experience caring for dogs of my friends and family, including feeding, walking, playtime, and basic care routines. I’m patient, attentive to instructions, and take the time to learn each pet’s personality and needs. I currently own a cat, so I understand the responsibility that comes with daily pet care, routines, and building trust with animals. I’m always happy to follow specific instructions and provide updates so owners feel confident their pets are in good hands. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine, and I enjoy making time to give animals attention, play, and care. I’m reliable with schedules, flexible when possible, and committed to meeting each pet’s daily needs, including feeding, litter care, walks, and quality companionship. I currently work part-time but have the semester off with school, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and following instructions exactly as given. I’m respectful in clients homes and attentive to pets behavior and comfort. I also provide updates so owners feel confident and informed.
About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and grew up with them throughout my childhood. While I haven’t been in the right season of life to have a dog of my own just yet, spending time with dogs is something I truly enjoy and value. I love being outdoors, going for walks, and helping dogs burn off energy while having fun. More importantly, I strive to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while they’re with me. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes them happy and helping them feel at ease. Whether your dog loves long walks, extra attention, playtime, or simply having a calm and caring companion, I’ll treat them with the same kindness and affection I would give my own. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable and confident while they’re in my care. I am currently working from home Monday through Friday, but have lots of flexibility within my schedule throughout the week. I am also available for weekends as needed! I currently live in an apartment, so I provide care in your home or through walks and outdoor exercise in safe, public spaces. In-home care allows your dog to stay in a familiar environment, stick to their normal routine, and feel more comfortable while you’re away. I focus on maintaining consistency with feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific routines your dog is used to. My goal is to reduce stress for both you and your pet by keeping everything as normal and calm as possible. Whether it’s stopping by for walks, spending time with your dog in your home, or making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention outdoors, I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust in every visit.

Katie is awesome!! She dropped in twice a day to take care of my daughter’s cat for 11 days and bring in our mail/packages for us. She is great, trustworthy and took such great care of Tink! This is our 2nd time booking with her. We will always book her (unless she’s not available).
Anastasia was amazing with my fur baby, Bingo! It was my first time using a dog sitter let alone Bingo and l being apart for my weekend out of town trip. I loved how she communicated, kept me up to date on how Bingo was doing. My favorite is the snapshot photos she took and shared with me, that was so reassuring knowing Bingo was happy!

Adrienne is phenomenal! She kept In communication and sent pictures daily. My cats make a huge mess of their liter box and the area around the box was still clean when I returned. She goes above and beyond and is super friendly while maintaining professionalism. If you are needing someone who you can trust with your fur babies, she is the one!! She has a great rate and I'd give so much more for the peace of mind that she provided. 10/10, would have her pet sit again! Thank you, Adrienne.

I am so grateful for Ara! She did amazing with my young, large dog who can be a handful sometimes. She was very attentive and went above & beyond, making sure all my animals had their needs met & enough attention and love. I appreciate the communication I received as well throughout my trip. Will absolutely be using her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
