About: I grew up with a variety of animals at a young age, always taking care to learn their personalities and individual needs. I was entrusted with pet sitting for friends and family growing up. I currently work full time, ideal pet drop ins would be early in the morning(6am-7:15am) and the afternoons or evenings from 4:30-9pm depending on location. Mondays 4:30-5pm or after 6:30pm. The weekends allow me more frequent, open, and flexible availability for drop ins and walks. I’m open to discussing any times that you need and trying to find a compromise! While caring for pets I like to keep them within eye sight at all times while interacting based on their body language and personality type.
“This was our first time booking with Mackenzie, and hopefully it won't be our last! She sent lots of pics every day and gave super thorough updates on how everything was going. It seems like all the pets liked her, too!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up surrounded by multiple dogs and cats, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I’ll treat yours with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I’m committed to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I currently work evenings as a hostess, so my mornings are usually free. I’d love to spend that time walking dogs and giving them the exercise, attention, and care they deserve! Having worked with people and grown up around animals, I understand how to read different behaviors, respect each pet’s unique needs, and remain calm and attentive in new situations. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to providing the same level of care and professionalism I’d expect for my own pets

“Taylor was great with my babies, I’m definitely a worrier and hate leaving my dogs but it was definitely a relief to know they’re being well taken care of in the comfort of their own home. She was very patient and understanding with my girl Cleo who is terribly shy and can be wary of strangers. We had a couple meet and greets ahead of time and she really went out of her way to accommodate my girl. My first time using a pet sitter that wasn’t a personal friend who knows my dogs well and any worry I had was squashed very quickly. The constant updates definitely put me at ease as much as possible when I’m away from my kids. Even brought in some auto ship Chewy packages that happened to be timed for the days we were away. Being able to avoid a boarding facility for my babies was great since my nervous girl tends to not trust strangers when it comes to bathroom breaks, and I worried she wouldn’t eat in a facility due to stress. Not to mention being able to see my dogs as soon as we got back from our trip is the best. Would definitely recommend and use her in the future.”

“Kellie was amazing with our 3 cats!! One of our cats is incredibly shy, and requires daily meds. Kellie did an amazing job making sure he got his medication, and he seemed to really warm up to her (which is huge!!) in just a few days. We had great daily updates, definitely recommend!!”

“I am so grateful for Ara! She did amazing with my young, large dog who can be a handful sometimes. She was very attentive and went above & beyond, making sure all my animals had their needs met & enough attention and love. I appreciate the communication I received as well throughout my trip. Will absolutely be using her again!”

“Linda is the finest individual we have used for drop-in visits with our Maltipoo puppy, Maggie. She is full of love for all dogs. Totally dependable. My wife and I count her as a friend. Will definitely do future bookings with her.”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life!! I currently have 2 golden doodles and an Aussie doodle, I had a miniature pinscher that passed away recently. I watch my boyfriend’s 3 Shih Tzus regularly and most people in my family have dogs (2 labs, 3 frenchies, chihuahua, etc). I have dogsat for lots of neighbors and people that live in the willard/ Springfield area I am finishing up my first year of college in Springfield and I have classes Monday-Friday. MWF are my easy days with only 2 classes; one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Weekends are for friends and family but I would love to work taking care of your dog into my schedule! About: I volunteered at CARE which is a no kill pet shelter for cats and dogs in 2014 and recently started volunteering at this place again, February 2018. My duties included feeding and making sure the animals had enough water. Cleaned out kennels and cages and would take the dogs outside and walk them. I have had dogs and cats since I was born and currently had a dog who loved being around other cats and dogs. She loved to play with animals as well and loved children. Her name was Daisy she is in my profile pic with me. Daisy was euthanized on September 1st, 2023. I now have another dog whose name is Emma. She’s a year old and as long as it’s ok with a client I bring her to pet sitting jobs. She loves other animals including cats and loves to play. She’s lovable and affectionate and loves attention. I also have a cat and her name is Maizy. She is four years old and I got her when she was almost 4 weeks old. I would take Daisy for walks and if I could take her with me to other places I did. One of the places I took her was to the pet store. I no longer wear a mask unless I have to. If you prefer for me to wear one please let me know and I will wear one. I use to work at a job which required me to work a 10 hour shift. I am now working at a full time job which has 8 hour shifts. I can work around my schedule if needed. My supervisor does work with me on switching my days around if needed. I can’t keep your pet in my apartment due to rules and restrictions but I can come to your home. I will provide my own food and necessities.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Springfield
Steffany did an amazing job taking care of our three dogs! They definitely weren’t on their best behavior while we were away, but she handled everything with so much patience and kindness. She was very communicative, kept us updated, and truly went above and beyond to make sure they were well cared for. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!

Garrett was great while giving our two Boxer dogs a potty break once a day for 2 weeks! He was patient with our youngest who was shy and would try to hide from him. He was also patient with our oldest, who is a typical Boxer and is very rambunctious! He also didn’t just let them out to potty, he played with them a bit, which we appreciated!! Garrett was prompt and respectful of our home; he cleaned up an accident on the first day when one of our dogs was excited to see him. He also communicated professionally and sent pictures daily. We hope to use Garrett is available again when we need pet services!!

Katelyn was wonderful! Our dog has kind of a high maintenance feeding schedule due to some health changes as she has aged and Katelyn was fantastic to make sure she was fed on schedule and provided excellent care overall. She can also be slow to warm up to new people but she liked Katelyn during the meet-n-greet and I can tell she was comfortable with Katelyn from the update pictures during the booking. I look forward to being able to book Katelyn again!

Anastasia was amazing with my fur baby, Bingo! It was my first time using a dog sitter let alone Bingo and l being apart for my weekend out of town trip. I loved how she communicated, kept me up to date on how Bingo was doing. My favorite is the snapshot photos she took and shared with me, that was so reassuring knowing Bingo was happy!

I am so grateful for Ara! She did amazing with my young, large dog who can be a handful sometimes. She was very attentive and went above & beyond, making sure all my animals had their needs met & enough attention and love. I appreciate the communication I received as well throughout my trip. Will absolutely be using her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
