I have had w dog in my life one passing away when I was a small child who I loved very much and one who has grown with me and taken care of me just as much as I have taken care of her. About: I have always had pets (dogs mostly) and love them! I will love your babies as if they were my own! I hope you pick me! I have recently retired and am looking for something gratifying to help other Dog owners with the care of their pet! I know how stressful it can be when you have to leave your pet for any length of time and would love to relieve that stress for you! 😊 I have a fenced in yard with a senior dog, Bella. She is such a great dog and is so aloof, like nothing bothers her! I am unable to board certain breeds due to home insurance restrictions and my senior dog so may not be able to accept every request, however, I haven’t turned one down yet!
About: I've had dogs my entire life! My first pup that was actually mine was a Great Dane named Mazie. So I've definitely had experience with big dogs and am pretty comfortable with them. I've also owned pit bulls that ended up having puppies so I've been able to experience the complete dog journey from newborn to final bark. ( :( ) I do work full time but am able to do a drop-in during my lunch hour if needed. I'm also available most nights and weekends! I do work full time down town, but I get a one hour lunch break and can let your pet out or go on walks during that time! My evenings and weekends are generally free to help with pet care! About: I grew up with both cats and dogs in my house. For the past 25 years, I've had no fewer than two dogs. With rescuing and fostering, I've had up to seven dogs in my care. I understand and appreciate how every pet has their own unique personality and their own likes and dislikes. I understand there are certain things that make them feel safe and things that put them on edge. I think I've always been good at making pets feel safe with me. My work schedule (including drive time) is from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. I am free all other hours of the day and weekends. I have a wife and son who love pets as much, if not more, than I do. I have two beagles and a german shephard who are accustomed to and enjoy having visitors to play with. I have had many different breeds of dogs that require or prefer a number of different things. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run. There are trees and bushes and plants and squirrels running along the fence top to keep them busy. I have multiple hydration stations through the house and yard and a room that can be set up to accommodate new guests and their crate, beds, and toys.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was a child. They are not like family, they are family. Many friends and relatives have entrusted me to care for their pets for short and long stays at my home where they receive love, attention, play, and care. When caring for your pets, they will not be alone for more than 4 hours at a time during the weekday. Evenings and weeknights they will not be alone for more than an hour at a time. I have a large fenced yard and close access to a public park for walks. I enjoy playing with animals and giving them attention and care.
“Taylor was great with my babies, I’m definitely a worrier and hate leaving my dogs but it was definitely a relief to know they’re being well taken care of in the comfort of their own home. She was very patient and understanding with my girl Cleo who is terribly shy and can be wary of strangers. We had a couple meet and greets ahead of time and she really went out of her way to accommodate my girl. My first time using a pet sitter that wasn’t a personal friend who knows my dogs well and any worry I had was squashed very quickly. The constant updates definitely put me at ease as much as possible when I’m away from my kids. Even brought in some auto ship Chewy packages that happened to be timed for the days we were away. Being able to avoid a boarding facility for my babies was great since my nervous girl tends to not trust strangers when it comes to bathroom breaks, and I worried she wouldn’t eat in a facility due to stress. Not to mention being able to see my dogs as soon as we got back from our trip is the best. Would definitely recommend and use her in the future.”
