“Molly provided excellent care for our Corgi. I received pictures and notes keeping me updated. I was concerned that our pickup time might change due to airline changes and she was flexible to work with me. I very much appreciated the love she provided.”

“Deserae was an awesome dog sitter for Wesley! She sent me pictures throughout the stay - which was so nice! It’s easy to tell that she has a huge heart for animals because she was really great to mine. We will definitely be using her again!! Thanks Deserae!”

“Once again Gerrad made Sophie part of the family. He happily took her in with her limited mobility issues and sent tons of pics and daily updates of her hanging out with his wonderful children and himself. Knowing my darling old girl was not only safe and well cared for but spoiled was such a relief while we traveled. I will always use Gerrad. Thank you!”

“Selena was so wonderful! I cannot stress enough how comfortable she made us while we were away for the weekend. Our very spoiled Westie with attachment issues is used to being home with us 99% of the day and we know he will have anxiety when we leave him. After losing our former long term sitter, we had to find a new one and I am SO GRATEFUL we found Selena. She wanted to make sure his routine was as close to home as possible, that he was as comfortable as possible. She checked in with pictures and videos often (probably more for my benefit than Hamilton’s) because he seemed so happy. If she questioned anything along the way, she didn’t hesitate to reach out. She gave him so much love and just let him be his codependent self and be her little lemming all weekend. He got lots of social time with other pups and made new friends along the way. 🐾”

“Mickayla is awesome! I knew from the time we met that we are in good hands! This was the first time I have left her with someone, I could not be more pleased! I loved the pictures she took and told me about Gracie’s day. I can tell she loves animals, and I am so thankful and will definitely pick her when I need someone to care for my pup.”

About: I have cared for pets all my life. I have always had a dog or 2 in my house that are spoiled and had me well trained. I owned a dog boarding, daycare, and grooming business in Ozark for 8 years.. I retired about four years ago. Since I am retired, I am home most of the day, except for a few errands to run occasionally. I live alone with two senior dogs who get along with most other animals. There are no children in the house. My home is all one level, with a fully fenced backyard. Fur babies cared for in my home have free run of the house, are allowed to be on the furniture, (unless the owner request differently). I am capable of crating your loved one if they are already crate trained… Your fur babies will get lots of love and ear scratches. I’m experienced in various diets and food prep along with medication’s, including injections.
“Sabrina is fabulous! We were updated regularly on how our dog was doing while we were away, which I SO appreciated! Her attention to our "second child" allowed us to enjoy our vacation even more! We will for sure use her again and HIGHLY recommend!”

About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! Currently in my home I have a 1 year old Shihpoo name Mocha and a 5 year old Heeler/Dauschund mix named Luna. I promise to take care of your fur babies just as if they were mine! I am a single mother with lots of time on my hands to love on pets. I have a daughter in Junior High and a son in High School so I do run them back and forth to their activities but otherwise I’m ready to spend time with the fur babies. I have a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I have a couple big trees for shade while pets are playing outdoors and a covered back porch for relaxing.

About: I am a lifelong animal advocate. Having recently lost my own pups to old age, I have a big space in my heart and home that I’d love to share with your dog. I deeply value the unique bond between humans and their pets, and I would be honored to be your dog’s trusted companion while you are away. My home provides a calm, attentive, and nurturing atmosphere—perfect for pups who need a little extra TLC, playtime, or just someone to keep them company. I have experience as a dog grooming assistant, dog-sitter (overnights), and also have cared for my senior dogs who both had special needs. I am a healthcare provider (occupational therapy) as a profession, so I have medical experience as well. I’m currently working 32-hours Monday through Friday, only about 6-7 hours a day. I work less than a mile from my home, so I am easily able to stop by on lunch breaks as needed. I am completely free after work and all weekend long, when off work, your pup will be my full attention! I also have a pet-camera in my home for when I am gone. My house is extremely pet safe, I have had senior pups and have purchased many adaptive equipment, such as pet stairs, to keep them safe. I have a fenced back yard and one pup, Lida, who is extremely friendly and always eager for more pet-friends. I have basic medical pet care training and a very safe home.
“Ashley was the best find for us and our dog. She has a great structure at her place, clearly experienced and was very understanding of our dog’s behavior challenges. I am very self conscious about our dog’s reactivity and we are so glad to have found someone we can trust to handle our very energetic and jumper pup, she is our top choice from now on.”

About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of dogs, cats, and horses from a young age. I also have experience in dog grooming, ranging from small to large dogs. I am fluent in American Sign Language. I am flexible as I work from home. I normally check pets at least two times a day, but more check in times are available upon request. I have a friendly dog who loves to play and make new friends. He will be very helpful in helping young dogs learn how to socialize.
“Courtney sent pictures and updates everyday, and she was flexible when I needed to pick my dog up a few hours earlier than I had first told her. Her kids were really sweet and I know my dog had a great week with them. This was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience! Thank you, Courtney!!”

“Tiffany is a joy and truly loves the pets she cares for. Our pet was well cared for and had such a great experience with Tiffany. She is excellent at communicating and keeping us up-to-date! She went out of her way to provide the best service and care for our pet!! We are so glad we met her and will definitely reach out to her again!”
“Jackie and Mike are fantastic pet sitters. They did such a wonderful job with our German Shepherd. After our Meet and Greet, I knew I wouldn't worry about leaving Charli in their care. It was obvious from the start that they love dogs!! They are both warm and friendly and took extra time to answer all our questions and listen to all our concerns. They had no problem with Charli's special diet and medications. It was so nice that they took the time to send photos of Charli. It was reassuring to see that she was enjoying her stay and playing with their dogs. Don't hesitate to use them because they are awesome!!”

“If you are ever needing a dog sitter in Branson, I unreservedly recommend Jason (and his wife)! Daily updates, lots of activity, followed Addie’s routine. For a first timer, who was very fearful of leaving my beloved girl, this was a wonderful experience. And made my stay in Branson so much better knowing my dog was well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

We had such a great experience with Dylan! He was very accommodating when we needed to drop Dixie off earlier than originally planned and was great with communication from start to finish. He sent us lots of pictures and videos throughout the weekend of Dixie playing and having a great time with the other dogs, which we loved! Dylan and his wife were both so nice, and it was obvious Dixie was well cared for and got plenty of attention, treats, and playtime. We will definitely be booking with them again!

We have an elder dog with back problems. We have been feeling stuck because he doesn't like being left alone and stops eating if he is stressed. Ashley was willing to work with us and was helpful and kind dealing with his issues. She took him for short walks which he loved and sat with him on the floor to make him comfortable. We were encouraged that this could give us an opportunity to do some traveling. We have already set up for another short trip in a couple of weeks. Thanks Ashley

I could not be happier with my boarding experience with Ashleigh and Colby. I have only had my Doxie for a couple months and I've had challenges with him. I was worried he might have an issue with their adorable little dog, but things went so well right off the bat. They have a wonderful little country-ish place with a nice fenced in area that dogs can get out and roam a bit. I had a really great feeling with both of them... a great combination of being welcoming and strong with my dog, complete attention to him. I felt very good about them wanting to know details, and asking the right questions and also listening to me. Ashleigh messaged me several times with updates and pics and her communication and attention to details was really great. I plan on trying to use them again in a couple weeks and could not recommend them more. You can feel great about using them to watch and love on your dog. SIX stars... not five.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
