“Excellent communication. My dogs were happy when I picked them up. I was nervous to leave my dogs b cause I never had left them before this past weekend. I felt very secure leaving Buddy and Louie with Ashley and Tyler. Will definitely be rebooking, I won't even consider leavingy pets with anyone else!”

“Daphne took great care of Tilly during her stay! I received plenty of pictures and updates, and Tilly had such a good time that she didn’t want to come home! I would definitely book with Daphne again.”

“I am very happy with Laura!! I was so nervous to leave Percy with anyone outside of family, especially being that he has severe anxiety but Percy loved Laura and her family. I feel content that we found a permanent sitter for our fur baby. :)”

“Max was amazing. We dropped off our 3 month old puppy, Huevito, and were pretty anxious since he’s still so young and on a strict routine. Max immediately put us at ease by sending videos of Huevito and his own pup wrestling and playing in the yard. He followed Huevito’s schedule exactly as we’d laid it out, which was such a relief. It was clear Huevito had a great time - not just playing, but also learning how to be a good dog under Max’s care. He even helped desensitize Huevito to blow dryers so he won’t be scared at the groomer, and he kept up with his kennel training too. When we picked him up, he was freshly bathed with his nails clipped. Now that he’s back home with us, we can tell that he’s happy, tired, and clearly had a good time with Max.”

“Paul and Stephanie were great. This was the first away from family trip that my dog has had in a long time and he seemed to have a great time. They were very accommodating to him and were great about sending picture updates to let me know he was happy and being cared for. Would highly recommend.”

“She is a dog lover and kept me updated on how my yorkie was during the week. Including pictures. This made things easier for me since it was our first time using Rover. Would recommend.”

“What a wonderful experience! Sarah-Beth was soooo nice to deal with and took excellent care of my cat for the 10 days I was gone on vacation. She gave regular updates and treated him like part of the family.”

“We left our Luna with Barbara for a week . Barbara sent us photos and updates every day . I appreciated that very much; Luna was well taken care of . I would highly recommend Barbara and she is very caring and very knowledgeable about our fur family . She also has her own 2 sweet dogs that were good company to Luna . Thank you Barbara .”

“We are extremely grateful for Jennifer’s care and dedication to our dog! She made us feel at ease with her updates and pictures. I can tell Dana felt happy and relaxed throughout her stay. Thank you so much, Jennifer!”

“I’ve used Kay a few times now and she takes the best care of my little dog. I get several updates a day and he never seems stressed when I pick him up. Fantastic place for senior dogs!”
“So grateful to find Rebecca! It was so helpful that she lives close to our house for drop off and pick up. Reading her profile, she surely has a heart for taking extra good care of the pups she’s responsible for. She did an excellent job! She sent a daily summary and pictures, and in the first few days she gave us regular updates through the day as our fur baby was settling in. She really went above and beyond the call of duty. During two days of thunderstorms, Gwen got special cuddling, even when Rebecca had to work at her computer! It was a very positive experience and we would highly recommend Rebecca! Briar, her sweet golden retriever was a helpful companion when they went out for walks. When Gwen went alone, she seemed a bit nervous, but with Briar trotting by her side, she did not seem to be bothered by the other dogs. We had a wonderful trip, only made even better, knowing that our pup was well taken care of! Thanks heaps to Rebecca!”

“I am so grateful for Cody. My furbaby has fear aggression making it difficult to find boarding. I was about to give up then Cody met with us 2 days before my family cruise. He agreed to care for my dog and help him feel comfortable. Cody sent me updates which eased my mind. I had a relaxing vacation and my baby had a safe environment to stay in while I was away.”

“Chanel took wonderful care of Mila! She kept me updated throughout the entire stay with lots of photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that Mila was well cared for, comfortable, and happy. I really appreciated her communication and the love and attention she gave my dog. I would absolutely book with Chanel again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Thank you so much!”

“Carissa was absolutely amazing with our dog! We were pretty nervous at first since Roux has never stayed at someone else’s house, but she made us feel comfortable right away. She kept great communication the entire time, sending updates and making sure we knew he was doing well. It meant so much to us. When we picked him up, she even surprised us with the sweetest gift — a framed picture of Roux and some treats for him. That really went above and beyond. You can tell she truly cares about the dogs she watches. We would 100% trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Our Duke had a great time at Brittney’s house. She sent me pictures how he was playing with her dog until they were exhausted! 😄 However, it was only for one night but I would recommend her. She loves what she does! 🐾”

“Brooke was great! She watched one of my dogs last minute when I was in a pinch and was even flexible when I had to extend my stay another day. Rocket got along great with her other dog and Brooke sent photo updates frequently that gave me peace of mind. Will book with her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pea Ridge
Really glad we found Clarence & Lindsay! They were absolutely amazing with our dog, Suki, while we were away on a 2.5-week vacation. They made our trip completely stress-free! We received daily updates with photos and videos of Suki playing, running around their big yard, going on walks, and just having the best time with their 4 dogs & a cat! She’s a very high-energy dog who needs lots of attention and activity, and they gave her exactly that. it felt like Suki was on her own vacation too! 😂 They also continued working on her training and she followed thru with the commands she knows. It was so reassuring to know she was not only being cared for, but also getting plenty of structure and attention. I trust Clarence & Lindsay wholeheartedly with Suki and would absolutely have them watch her again. We’ll definitely continue using their service in the future. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pup like family!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
