“Our Duke had a great time at Brittney’s house. She sent me pictures how he was playing with her dog until they were exhausted! 😄 However, it was only for one night but I would recommend her. She loves what she does! 🐾”

“Brooke was great! She watched one of my dogs last minute when I was in a pinch and was even flexible when I had to extend my stay another day. Rocket got along great with her other dog and Brooke sent photo updates frequently that gave me peace of mind. Will book with her again!”

“Her and her family were amazing with our dog! We had a last minute need to watch him while we were out of town 10 hours away. I was able to coordinate with her on picking him up at another sitters house and she kept him overnight for us. It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands and provided the pickup service. All of the pictures showed him so happy and being loved on so much. She will definitely be our go to sitter from here on out. ☺️”

“Elizabeth did a great job with our dog, Bruno. She had the perfect space and perfect company to welcome any dog. She did a great job sending pics and giving us daily updates. Elizabeth was also flexible with our drop off and pick up times that worked with our schedule. Highly recommend!!”

“Barnabas is amazing. Made my first time leaving Cali with a pet sitter wonderful experience for myself and Cali. She is a timid dog Barnabas took amazing care and she had a blast. I highly recommend Barnabas for pet sitter!”

“Meagen was great for our dog, Molly! She communicated very well. Took her on walks. Kept us updated throughout the stay. From past experiences with others, we were concerned as Molly has come back sick or skittish from others. This was not the case with Meagen. Molly was of course ready to come home, but we could tell she did very well”

“She did a great job keeping me updated on my dog throughout the stay. Seems like my dog had a great time with her. Just very grateful she accepted the opportunity on such short notice.”

“Susan was the best caretaker for my sweet Mia that I could have hoped for. Mia likes a calm environment and that’s what she got with Susan. Mia doesn’t usually play and eat with new people but she was so happy with Susan, she ate a bunch and I got videos of her being playful. She felt at home, and came back to me happy. I will be using Susan’s services again.”

“We appreciated Barbara so much for taking of our sweet Khia! She sent pictures and daily updates during her stay. We felt Khia did well with her and we would book her services again!”

“Wonderful experience with Elsy. She took great care of our dog and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. I'd highly recommend Elsy... I'd absolutely book with Elsy for all our upcoming trip requests..”

“Daphne took great care of Tilly during her stay! I received plenty of pictures and updates, and Tilly had such a good time that she didn’t want to come home! I would definitely book with Daphne again.”

About: I provide fun playtime and activities. I have been a lifelong pet owner in the past of Cinnamon, a rescued soft coated wheaten terrier whom we adopted since he was 3 months old. I currently assist my husband with his flooring business preparing emails with estimates and details about the process. My time is certainly flexible due to being an assistant. I do not own a fenced yard, but I live in a safe neighborhood where one can walk on the sidewalks without worrying about other animals being aggressive. There’s several people who own small dogs.

“I had a wonderful experience with Miranda and her husband. Great communication, i got lots of videos and pictures and they were flexible with my times for pick up. My dog was well loved and cared for with them. I’ll be using them in the future.”

“Tre was wonderful, and I know Maisie was very happy staying there!! She sent messages, pictures, and Maisie even came home with a Christmas scarf 🧣 I am so glad that we found Tre; she’s a gem 💎”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
