“Marissa does a great job looking after our kittem Bug, he looked super relaxed and comfortable in all the photos she sent. I will use her whenever we need someone to look after our pets”

“Savannah went really above and beyond for me during our stay. My dog was not feeling well and she made sure to keep a close eye on her. I had arranged a vet visit during her stay and Savannah was able to take my dog on my behalf to get taken care of. I am extremely thankful to have someone like her to care for my dog while I'm away.”

“Chanel took wonderful care of Mila! She kept me updated throughout the entire stay with lots of photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that Mila was well cared for, comfortable, and happy. I really appreciated her communication and the love and attention she gave my dog. I would absolutely book with Chanel again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Thank you so much!”

“Stephen and his family were fantastic. They gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our vacation knowing our pet was being taken care of. I will always look to see if he is available next time we are looking for a dog sitter. Cannot recommend enough.”

“I had an amazing experience with Janet taking care of my dog at her house. She was incredibly attentive, caring, and treated my dog like her own.I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind pet sitter!”

“Iyari was an amazing sitter with our dog Margaux! She took great care of her and was keeping us throughly updated everyday all day! Would highly recommend Iyari to take care of your pet and will likely be using again!”

“Lindsay and her husband took great care of Liam. Liam had an issue while in their care and she took him to our vet and got him taken care of and treated him like their own until we picked him up. Was really happy with them!”

“Tre took really great care of Liam. She has other pups in the house also so Liam always had a friend to play with. She was always so responsive when I asked how he was doing. It put my mama heart at ease. While we were on va action, Liam had his own vacation with Tre.”

“Christy took good care of our pups while we were out of town. One of them is very anxious and she knew just what to do to make her feel more comfortable. We will definitely use her again.”

“I didn’t expect my cat to do well with boarding. She’s a very anxious creature. A scaredy cat in the truest sense! Christopher and Jennie did everything in their power to make her feel at home, and I know they did a good job because she bounced back very quickly once we got back home, which has never happened with other boardings! She’s been prone to hiding for days after past experiences, but that didn’t happen here. Thanks for taking care of my best friend, guys. She may not have been super receptive to it, but I know she appreciated you regardless.”

“Sharon was amazing with our dog Sushi. We got frequent updates with pictures which put our mind at ease. When we picked up our dog, we could tell she was well taken care of and that she had a good time hanging out and playing in the yard with Sharon. Very friendly and communicative. We will absolutely book with her again in the future. Sushi was very happy with her and so were we.”

“Rebecca was a fantastic match for my sweet Bernedoodle! She was very communicative which really put my mind at ease. If I’m ever in the area again, I might make up an excuse for my pup to spend some time with Rebecca again!”

“Susan was wonderful! She was very responsive, sent lots of pictures and videos, and Murphy was in good spirits when I picked him up. I would definitely book with her the next time I need someone to watch Murphy. Thank you Susan!”

About: Been an animal lover all my life. Unfortunately I've developed an allergy to cats but most dogs I do well with. I've worked in grooming and an animal hospital in the past. My daughter and I love sitting fur babies for our friends and family. My schedule is pretty open as I work part-time time and remote. If we could we'd have a house full of animals, which is why I'm eager to get to know and spend time with yours. A mini vaca away, with lots of love, from our family to yours. I'm mostly open, work part time. Would prefer boarding with me over house sitting, depending on the breed. But which ever you fancy. If you have a breed my allergies don't tolerate very well, house sitting would be the best option. But I also have other hosting options like two separate garages, one that is dedicated to the dogs. With fans and heaters depending on the season as well as a big fenced in backyard. We can discuss schedule/routine that works best for you and your fur baby, to meet their needs. I'm responsive and operate with complete transparency if any issues arise to foster a safe and trusting atmosphere for a positive experience. Assuring you peace of mind and to build a good shared experience for everyone evolved. We have a spacious home with large fenced in yard and two dogs of our own (who are treated and up to date with all their veterinary visits), to play and keep your fur baby company. One of mine in particular is very accustomed to socializing with others from doggie daycare, as he used to go as a pup. I can also easily keep our dogs separate upon request, and crate any fur baby if needed. A bit OCD so I keep a neat, clean, tidy home so you can be assured a clean and safe environment for your pets stay. We have two separate garages, one dedicated to the dogs. As well as doggie Gates for large or small dogs. So there are multiple options to suit a variety of situations.

Iyari took excellent care of our Bitty pup! Bitty has lots of special needs as a very elderly Chihuahua, but Iyari was up for the challenge and did a fantastic job. She provided daily photos and updates and made Bitty very comfortable during her stay. Bitty doesn't always warm up to strangers, but Iyari's sweet and gentle nature won her over and by the time we came back they were friends! I would definitely recommend Iyari to anyone and we'll be booking her services again soon!

My two dogs had lots of fun staying with Erin! She and her family were so welcoming to them, and they came home happy and tired. Erin has a lot of expertise caring for dogs, and she has a calm and positive approach. She also takes amazing photos of my pups! I always know my animals are in good hands with Erin.

Layne and her family were so great with my dog, Hachi! I was a little nervous to leave him since it was his first time staying with unfamiliar people but their friendliness and confidence made me feel immediately comfortable. Layne was very open to meeting Hachi’s needs and making accommodations to make sure he felt safe and at ease. She also sent me daily pictures and updates of how he was doing. Their 2 dogs were obviously super used to having new guest dogs around and accepted Hachi as another member! I would absolutely have them watch Hachi again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
