“Mavis & Molly had such a great time with Savannah, it was hard to get them to leave. Not only did they have plenty of room to play, but Savannah also spent time on teaching them manners. I will certainly reach out to Rover/Savannah for our next trip.”

“Iyari was absolutely great!! It was my first time leaving my dog Jake alone with a sitter overnight so I was a little nervous. Iyari made me feel comfortable and that she would take great care of him. She sent pictures and updates everyday! I would definitely use Iyari to watch my fur baby again!”

“It was like taking my dogs to their friend's house! I know they were cared for and able to have fun. It's easy when things go well, but most importantly if something happens I know Erin is professional, transparent and effective. An ideal boarding situation.”

“Elizabeth was so sweet with Murphy and took such great care of him! He got to go on runs, walks, and got to snuggle and play with her dogs. She was so patient and super responsive with tons of pictures. We definitely found our new sitter!♥️”

“Max was really good with our 8 week old puppy! .. Talking to him I can sure tell he knows all about the puppy and the ways he works with them! .. We will definitely will go back to him for sure!”

“Brooke was great! She watched one of my dogs last minute when I was in a pinch and was even flexible when I had to extend my stay another day. Rocket got along great with her other dog and Brooke sent photo updates frequently that gave me peace of mind. Will book with her again!”

“This was my first dogsitting experience via Rover and Tre did such a great job putting me at ease and giving me the confidence that my Maggie girl would be well looked after. I liked that Tre had another pittie at home for my girl to play with along with other dogs she cares for since my dog is an only child (lol) and could benefit from some dog playtime. My dog immediately loved Tre at the drop off and she was dog tired (pun intended) after a weekend of fun with Tre and the gang.”

“Lindsay has taken care of Simba while i was on a work trip again. She did a great job of updating me on simba’s health and making sure he had a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend giving Lindsay an opportunity to take care of your pup while you are away.”

“Barnabas has been so great to work with. He is flexible and communicates well. My dog has now stayed 3 times and always seems to be well cared for and stimulated while boarding. I guess the ultimate compliment should come from my dog who can’t seem to get inside Barnadas’s home fast enough when I drop her off. Thank you”

“Super communicative and understanding , always kept me so updated with my babies all times of the day and made sure to send me pictures and messages of what they were doing or did . Definitely going to be a repeat client now .:)”

“Janet is a wonderful person and a great sitter. She responded instantly to our messages. Very responsible and reliable sitter. Will recommend booking her. Will definitely book her again.”

“Our Duke had a great time at Brittney’s house. She sent me pictures how he was playing with her dog until they were exhausted! 😄 However, it was only for one night but I would recommend her. She loves what she does! 🐾”

“Sharon was awesome. Took great care of ours dogs during our wedding weekend. She made sure they got plenty of yard play time. Helped me unload and load them. Highly recommend her.”

“Taylor was wonderful and accommodating! She went the extra mile to make sure Nutella was well fed and well cared for. She even made her smell good, for the first time ever, with a bathing technique I will have to learn. Recommend high!”

About: I have taken care of and owned dogs my entire life, I grew up with 15 dogs on 3 acres. I have never not owned a dog with my senior pit coming up on 17 years with me. Currently home full time most days of the week, kids will be in school full time. I can work around your schedule & needs for pick-up, drop-off or drop ins. I live on 5 acres away from all main streets and a private drive for plenty of running space. I have converted my shed into a climate controlled dog house that has a fenced in area for the runners but if you prefer them to be inside I have plenty of space.
“Alicen was AMAZING with Dan!! Helped us out in a last minute Hail Mary on a Holiday weekend as well!! Could never recommend someone more! Danny played so well with her 2 pups and Alicen kept us very well updated with pictures!!”

“Stephen and his family were fantastic. They gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our vacation knowing our pet was being taken care of. I will always look to see if he is available next time we are looking for a dog sitter. Cannot recommend enough.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Springdale
My two dogs had lots of fun staying with Erin! She and her family were so welcoming to them, and they came home happy and tired. Erin has a lot of expertise caring for dogs, and she has a calm and positive approach. She also takes amazing photos of my pups! I always know my animals are in good hands with Erin.

Layne and her family were so great with my dog, Hachi! I was a little nervous to leave him since it was his first time staying with unfamiliar people but their friendliness and confidence made me feel immediately comfortable. Layne was very open to meeting Hachi’s needs and making accommodations to make sure he felt safe and at ease. She also sent me daily pictures and updates of how he was doing. Their 2 dogs were obviously super used to having new guest dogs around and accepted Hachi as another member! I would absolutely have them watch Hachi again!

Melissa and family are excellent care givers for our Max! He becomes part of their family when he stays at their home which is definitely more than just a place to board him. Exercise and attention is required for him and Melissa and family have provided him with this type of care without reserve!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
