“Barbara was outstanding! Our first time using Rover and we were a bit nervous until we read her reviews of many Happy parents. I cannot recommend her enough! She loves what she does for our fur babies. Luna, our rat terrier, only child, warmed up to barbs 2 dogs instantly on the meet and greet. Lucky (Barbs dog) is amazing! After a one week stay Luna was like, why am I leaving? She did not want to leave! as we sat in the driveway I had to explain that we will be back and Luna made me pinky promise! She sent us pictures of activities and snuggle time daily! Can't say enough about Luna's new grandma Barbara! 🥰 🐕”

“Jocelyn has been our go to sitter for our pet, we had used her service 3 times in last year and very satisfied! She is excellent and highly recommend her for your pet.”

Iyari took excellent care of our Bitty pup! Bitty has lots of special needs as a very elderly Chihuahua, but Iyari was up for the challenge and did a fantastic job. She provided daily photos and updates and made Bitty very comfortable during her stay. Bitty doesn't always warm up to strangers, but Iyari's sweet and gentle nature won her over and by the time we came back they were friends! I would definitely recommend Iyari to anyone and we'll be booking her services again soon!

My two dogs had lots of fun staying with Erin! She and her family were so welcoming to them, and they came home happy and tired. Erin has a lot of expertise caring for dogs, and she has a calm and positive approach. She also takes amazing photos of my pups! I always know my animals are in good hands with Erin.

Layne and her family were so great with my dog, Hachi! I was a little nervous to leave him since it was his first time staying with unfamiliar people but their friendliness and confidence made me feel immediately comfortable. Layne was very open to meeting Hachi’s needs and making accommodations to make sure he felt safe and at ease. She also sent me daily pictures and updates of how he was doing. Their 2 dogs were obviously super used to having new guest dogs around and accepted Hachi as another member! I would absolutely have them watch Hachi again!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
