“Brooke was great! She watched one of my dogs last minute when I was in a pinch and was even flexible when I had to extend my stay another day. Rocket got along great with her other dog and Brooke sent photo updates frequently that gave me peace of mind. Will book with her again!”

“Her and her family were amazing with our dog! We had a last minute need to watch him while we were out of town 10 hours away. I was able to coordinate with her on picking him up at another sitters house and she kept him overnight for us. It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands and provided the pickup service. All of the pictures showed him so happy and being loved on so much. She will definitely be our go to sitter from here on out. ☺️”

“Communications were great! We had an initial meet and greet at a nearby park. Kona only stayed one night but Bianca sent several updates with photos. Our girl looked happy and content.”

“Amanda was amazing! She was very accommodating and made my puppies feel comfortable and like they were at home. They didn’t seem to miss us which is a win in my book.”

“Meagen was great for our dog, Molly! She communicated very well. Took her on walks. Kept us updated throughout the stay. From past experiences with others, we were concerned as Molly has come back sick or skittish from others. This was not the case with Meagen. Molly was of course ready to come home, but we could tell she did very well”

About: Hi! I’m Marissa, a Star Sitter in Bentonville with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and birds. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust while you’re away. Whether your pet loves playtime and walks or prefers a quiet companion and extra cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re gone! I’m currently a stay-at-home cat/dog mom, so I have open availability most weekdays and can be flexible with scheduling. I’m able to provide consistent care, attention, and check-ins throughout the day to make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for. I always make sure pets feel safe, calm, and comfortable in their environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, and any special needs. I’m very patient and gentle, especially with shy or anxious cats, and I make sure they get attention while also respecting their space. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority.
“Our golden stayed with Emily for a little over a week and had the best time! As soon as we pulled up to her house my golden ran to her door, which to me is a fantastic sign since our golden has a lot of anxiety. Emily sent many pictures and updates throughout our trip that I didn’t need to worry if she was having a good time. If we need to travel again we will definitely be rebooking!”

“Elsy took such great care of our dogs while we were on vacation. She kept us updated with pictures every day and has a huge area for pets to run around. We will definitely be using her again in the future! Highly recommend!”

“Booked with Jocelyn at the last minute. She was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating! She loved on our babies and sent many many updates! We will book with her again!”

“Dexter was extremely well taken care of ! He had a great weekend and he fell asleep as soon as we got home due to all the running around he did. I know that with Tre Dexter is in good hands and I can trust her . Tre was extremely flexible with check in and out and I really appreciate it. Will defined rebook!”

“I could not be happier with Katherine. She was super easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and even accommodate my flexible travel dates. Her border collie Hans is a terrific play pal for an active dog and I really enjoyed the constant photo updates.”

“Our dog seemed to love it there. I was a little worried how she would do with their dogs, but she did great. I received just the right amount of communication and pictures (for me). I will be using Elizabeth again.”

Stephen took great care of Ronnie during his stay. He kept us updated with photos and messages, and Ronnie came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. It was clear he received lots of attention and love. We truly appreciate the excellent care and would definitely book with Stephen again. Highly recommend!

Ashley and Tyler have a nice place for dogs to comfy couches and chairs and a large enough backyard for lots of playing. Ashley was good enough to allow me to drop off Hank early in the morning and then pick him up well after dark. Hank looks well and she sent me pictures of him playing with both her dog and other dogs. I don’t know why she can get better pictures than I can. Thanks, Ashley.

Alison was great with my dog Shiloh, who is pretty shy. Since Alison got down to his level, welcomed him in a friendly and happy voice he went up to her right away. She sent pictures and kept me updated throughout the day. This is a wonderful and caring family. I highly recommend Alison and will not hesitate to leaving Shiloh in such good hands. Thank you, Alison!! I sincerely appreciate you.
Isabella was fantastic with my 4-year old orange tabby cat, Rosco. Rosco sometimes has a lot of energy and “orange cat personality” and I was nervous that he might not be her cup of tea, so I was delighted that they got along. She sent pictures every day and Rosco seemed very happy when I picked him up! Isabella was also very prompt when responding and her house looked like a beautiful place for Rosco to enjoy a little vacation while I was on vacation! I would definitely trust her to watch Rosco again. She’s great!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
