“Emily was so wonderful with our Apollo. So thankful for the pictures and updates. We could tell Apollo loved being with her. She was very quick to communicate and respond. Gracious with our travels being a little behind schedule. My son thanks you for your service while he is servicing our country with the US Army. We will prefer Emily every time with our Apollo.”

“Laura is the Best!! She kept our two doodles when we left for vocation and the dogs where sad to come home. They got lots of walks and snuggles! Will definitely be using her again soon!”

“I can't say enough good things about Layne and how she took care of my dog. She treated him like one of her own. It was obvious when I picked Ford up that he had a great time. He was extremely relaxed and happy. I know he was comfortable and safe our whole trip. Layne also kept me updated with pictures and feedback. It was perfect! (And I'm a worrier! 😂)”

“Meagan and her family were so great to our Blu! She was very responsive, great at giving updates, and took him on walks. Blu struggles with allergies and she was so nice keeping us updated and was great about giving him Benadryl. Would definitely recommend her!”
“Tiffany was amazing! Less than 8 hours before our flight departed we went to drop our Goose off and the other sitter had another dog she was watching that had attacked goose and neither her or us felt safe with goose staying there for the safety of all the dogs. Tiffany was amazing and within 5 minutes responded that she would be able to help us out and she was amazing. Got adorable pictures daily and she took such good care of him including baths after some play in the mud! If you need a sitter you won’t find a better one!”

“BEST PET SITTER EVER!! Our pups are hard to please. Caroline was amazing with them and she was very informative, we received photos of our sweet pups almost every day. It's always comforting to know your pets are well taking care of when you can't be there to do so.”

“This was the second time Daphne watched Tilly and was great again! I could enjoy my trip knowing that my dog was in great hands and getting plenty of attention. Daphne sent pictures and updates so I knew Tilly was safe and happy.”

“Jennifer was awesome! Zoey seemed like she didn’t even miss me from how good she was with her ? Why does my dog not like me anymore!? LOL. Will definitely have her take care of Zoey again!!”

About: I provide fun playtime and activities. I have been a lifelong pet owner in the past of Cinnamon, a rescued soft coated wheaten terrier whom we adopted since he was 3 months old. I currently assist my husband with his flooring business preparing emails with estimates and details about the process. My time is certainly flexible due to being an assistant. I do not own a fenced yard, but I live in a safe neighborhood where one can walk on the sidewalks without worrying about other animals being aggressive. There’s several people who own small dogs.
“Barnabas took great care of Max and Riley while we were away on a resent trip! He sent pictures and updates everyday so I did not worry about them at all! I have already booked him for our next trip! He is our go to guy!!!”

“I could not be happier with Katherine. She was super easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and even accommodate my flexible travel dates. Her border collie Hans is a terrific play pal for an active dog and I really enjoyed the constant photo updates.”

Blaze absolutely loves her and is always happy to go see her. He had a medical emergency this last visit and Christy handled it with grace! She was so great about starting him on several new medications and keeping me informed of how he was doing until I returned from out of state. Will continue to book with her any time we need a sitter! Thank you for being so Awesome!

Ashley and Tyler have a nice place for dogs to comfy couches and chairs and a large enough backyard for lots of playing. Ashley was good enough to allow me to drop off Hank early in the morning and then pick him up well after dark. Hank looks well and she sent me pictures of him playing with both her dog and other dogs. I don’t know why she can get better pictures than I can. Thanks, Ashley.

Yutong took such good care of our kitty at her home while we were traveling. She was quick to respond, very accommodating with pick up and drop off, sent great pictures and an update on how she was doing every day. And our cat came home happy and content which is a clear sign of being well taken care of. I will definitely be rebooking!

Brooke was great! She watched one of my dogs last minute when I was in a pinch and was even flexible when I had to extend my stay another day. Rocket got along great with her other dog and Brooke sent photo updates frequently that gave me peace of mind. Will book with her again!

We absolutely love Jenna!! She is by far the best sitter we’ve tried on Rover (and we’ve tried a lot!). She is so sweet and it’s clear how much she loves animals. I know how much she loves our dog, Cocoa, and I always feel so at peace when she’s watching him knowing he’s in good hands. She sends pictures and keeps me up to date with how he’s doing the whole time I’m gone. I highly recommend her!!

Dan took good care of our dogs during a 3-night stay. I appreciated the care; he was really responsive to any questions I sent during the stay. The only thing I would suggest is sending more pictures or videos without being asked. I would leave them with Dan again. Appreciate you.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
