“It’s always nerve-racking to leave your fur child with someone you don’t know. So I am THRILLED to have found Barnabas on Rover! He made the process so easy and put our minds at easy with daily photos and a video. We were able to do a meet and greet and my pups came back just as happy as the left. No built up energy, no scared reactions from yelling or hitting, no poor behavior. Just happy safe pups! I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend letting your pet stay safe and sound here! We are rebooking both our dogs next month! Thank you for being trustworthy, respectful, and flexible with us and our pups. See you again soon!”

“Sarah-Beth took great care of my sweet pups. Her communication was excellent and she sent regular updates with photos so I never had to worry about them. I’d happily book with Sarah-Beth again.”

About: I provide fun playtime and activities. I have been a lifelong pet owner in the past of Cinnamon, a rescued soft coated wheaten terrier whom we adopted since he was 3 months old. I currently assist my husband with his flooring business preparing emails with estimates and details about the process. My time is certainly flexible due to being an assistant. I do not own a fenced yard, but I live in a safe neighborhood where one can walk on the sidewalks without worrying about other animals being aggressive. There’s several people who own small dogs.
“Daphne took great care of Tilly during her stay! I received plenty of pictures and updates, and Tilly had such a good time that she didn’t want to come home! I would definitely book with Daphne again.”

“I am so glad I found Dan! He was able to take my pups at a pretty last minute request. He had a the best backyard and was so good with my doggos! They loved it there! Thanks for the daily updates Dan!”

“Meagen took care of our dog like it was her own. She was very spoiled the short time she stayed with Meagen. Meagan was very attentive to our dog and kept us updated the entire time.”

“Tre is a gem! She was easy to work with and cheerfully accommodating when our pickup time changed at the last minute. It’s clear she prioritizes and loves pets and our pup was loved on and incredibly happy. I love how they can go outside and inside and spend so much time with their doggie friends. It was great knowing MeiMei was having as much fun as we were while we were gone! 10/10”

“We thank Caroline for communicating with us so well, being so understanding and thoughtful, and helpful too. Lots of good pictures and videos. We hope to use her again soon.”

“Chanel helped me tremendously on short notice. She welcomed my boy into her squad with open arms. Lenny loved his time there so much, he ran back to her when we were leaving! Chanel provided so many updates and photos. I can’t rave enough about how wonderful she was to my pup.”

“I could not be happier with Katherine. She was super easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and even accommodate my flexible travel dates. Her border collie Hans is a terrific play pal for an active dog and I really enjoyed the constant photo updates.”

“Casey was absolutely amazing! I got updates multiple times a day throughout the entire weekend with tons of photos. Her yard has tons of space for the dogs to play and she even set up a pool for them to splash around! Would highy recommend using her for any of your petsitting needs.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Centerton
Ashley and Tyler have a nice place for dogs to comfy couches and chairs and a large enough backyard for lots of playing. Ashley was good enough to allow me to drop off Hank early in the morning and then pick him up well after dark. Hank looks well and she sent me pictures of him playing with both her dog and other dogs. I don’t know why she can get better pictures than I can. Thanks, Ashley.

Yutong took such good care of our kitty at her home while we were traveling. She was quick to respond, very accommodating with pick up and drop off, sent great pictures and an update on how she was doing every day. And our cat came home happy and content which is a clear sign of being well taken care of. I will definitely be rebooking!

Brooke was great! She watched one of my dogs last minute when I was in a pinch and was even flexible when I had to extend my stay another day. Rocket got along great with her other dog and Brooke sent photo updates frequently that gave me peace of mind. Will book with her again!

We absolutely love Jenna!! She is by far the best sitter we’ve tried on Rover (and we’ve tried a lot!). She is so sweet and it’s clear how much she loves animals. I know how much she loves our dog, Cocoa, and I always feel so at peace when she’s watching him knowing he’s in good hands. She sends pictures and keeps me up to date with how he’s doing the whole time I’m gone. I highly recommend her!!

My kiddos had a great time with Catherine and her family! She kept me informed when one of my babies was under the weather. Communicated and helped pick up some items I ordered to help my little munchkin feel better. The other 2 had a great time and were very spoiled! Will be booking again for my next trip!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
