“Poppy was so happy. She didn't want to go back home! That has never happened before, so she must have had an amazing time. I also appreciate the updates during the stay, just the right amount.”

“Emily did a great job taking care of our two dogs. We were a little nervous leaving our rescue dog with someone new since she can be a bit shy, but Emily helped ease our nerves. Would definitely have our dogs stay with her again!”

“Meagen took care of our dog like it was her own. She was very spoiled the short time she stayed with Meagen. Meagan was very attentive to our dog and kept us updated the entire time.”

“Iyari was an amazing sitter with our dog Margaux! She took great care of her and was keeping us throughly updated everyday all day! Would highly recommend Iyari to take care of your pet and will likely be using again!”

“Savannah was amazing with Simba! She went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. She kept me updated with sweet messages and photos, and I could tell Simba was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. He got plenty of playtime and came home content and tired! I’d definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive sitter. 🐾💛”

“Stephen and his family were fantastic. They gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our vacation knowing our pet was being taken care of. I will always look to see if he is available next time we are looking for a dog sitter. Cannot recommend enough.”

“Jessica is the best! She and her sweet pups were wonderful hosts for our two dogs. Jessica was thoughtful, prompt, and informative throughout their stay. We have a senior, so that was very much appreciated. Our boys seemed refreshed and happy when I picked them up, although maybe a little sad to leave!”

“Marissa did a great job taking care of my dog, and was very easy to communicate with. She provided updates and went above and beyond to make my very nervous dog feel more comfortable. Her dogs are also very friendly and tried their hardest to be friends with my shy puppy. Maybe next time my dog will play with them.”

“Elizabeth was so sweet with Murphy and took such great care of him! He got to go on runs, walks, and got to snuggle and play with her dogs. She was so patient and super responsive with tons of pictures. We definitely found our new sitter!♥️”

“Christy is always great with my great Pyrenees! My dog is a nervous dog and not exactly small but that doesn’t intimidate Christi. She’s always kind and thoughtful. Highly professional.!”

“If I could give more Stars I would it is absolutely deserved. We left our Goose for the first time and she did amazing sending videos and pictures and took great care of goose. She could not have done a better job!”

About: I used to work at a dog boarding, daycare, groomer, and vet and am currently a student at the University of Arkansas. I love all animals I am in town for summer from college and don’t have a set work schedule yet, but will keep this part of my account updated! I have three dogs of my own in my hometown and used to work at a dog place so I know a lot of warning signs and body language to be sure ur dog is happy healthy and stress free while you are gone!
“Cody sent pictures and messages throughout the day to keep me informed. He was very flexible with my ever-changing schedule and when I needed to pick Oliver up. I think Oliver had a great time!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Farmington
An is such a sweet soul and was literally THE best person we could have had to watch our baby. She took such great care of our dog, took our dog out on excursions, kept us updated accordingly, and treated of our dog like her own. We felt very at ease having An watch our dog and were able to actually enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in good hands. Couldn’t recommend An enough and will for sure ask her again to watch our dog for any and all future vacations! I swear she must be the dog sitter to use in NWA!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
