An avid animal lover who lives in a town house! I work Monday-Friday from 7:45am-6pm at the latest. I base my schedule around my appointments so there are days I get off as soon as 2:30pm! Follow me on Instagram to meet my wonderful clients and see what goes on during visits! Handle name: an_and_paws I post my pictures and videos on Instagram I have a dog and a cat of my own! I have always loved taking care of my friend's/family’s fur babies. Whether it is to take them on walks, play outside or play inside with their toys. I currently watch a lot of my friend's dogs and or cats when they are gone on vacation. I added a new puppy in late December 2020 and love the dog parent life! You can always find us outside and adventuring/playing. Shadow had been in training classes as I believe a well-trained dog is a good and safe dog! As I am not a professional trainer, my friends had asked me for training tips or to help train their puppies themselves. You can ensure that your dog/cat will be in good hands.

An is such a sweet soul and was literally THE best person we could have had to watch our baby. She took such great care of our dog, took our dog out on excursions, kept us updated accordingly, and treated of our dog like her own. We felt very at ease having An watch our dog and were able to actually enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in good hands. Couldn’t recommend An enough and will for sure ask her again to watch our dog for any and all future vacations! I swear she must be the dog sitter to use in NWA!
An gave us great peace of mind while watching our four legged baby. She was communicative and sent pictures/videos that we looked at repeatedly during our trip. It’s hard to find someone who makes you feel at ease when caring for an animal you love so much. Thank you again, An! We will be sending our Crew back!

An was absolutely amazing with our pup Vega. We decided to take a quick spur of the moment trip and she was extremely accommodating (especially when we wound up running late getting home Sunday night!). We got tons of pictures and videos, and could see just how much Vega enjoyed spending time with An and her pup! We can't thank her enough!
An helped our wedding day go smoothly. We really wanted our fur babies included in the wedding but we didn't want them to have to stay at the venue the entire day. An picked up our babies and brought them to the venue. She later came and picked them up (in the pouring rain!). We are so thankful for her service!

Schedule
Boarding/Day Care: I will attend to your dog's needs to whatever they need and provide them a fun time during their stay! If you have a puppy I can accommodate! Please contact me for further details. Since I have a dog of my own, we have several play sessions throughout the day and go on at least one or two walks a day! I don’t have a fenced in backyard, but do have a tie down for your pup to ensure safety as they freely roam the yard :) There is also a park down the street that I constantly take my pup to. We have a 100ft leash for your pup if they need to be on one for the park. Drop-ins/Walks: If I need to drop by, take your pup for a walk, or play with your feline companion, I can do that.

Safety, trust & environment
To my understanding, every dog/cat is different and I would be happy to accommodate their needs. As long as it is known to me beforehand, I will do everything to make sure your fur baby is comfortable when you’re gone! For boarding: It’s very understandable that a dog needs the exercise and space to run around. I am very fortunate to have a park that is located one minute away. I have multiple long leashes for your pup so they can safely play with us every day! For cats: My dog Shadow grew up with 2 cats, he loves them. Every so often, my friend will drop her cats off when she is out of town and they all got along great. To my understanding, not all cats will get along. I have pet gates and different rooms to accommodate any situation to make sure your fur baby is safe, comfortable, and loved!

A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood & many play sessions! Our favorite place is the park about a minute away for running around and playing. Play sessions with friends' dogs nearby. My Border Collie is high energy, if your dog needs a playmate he/she has one! If you would like updated photos/videos, please request I would be happy to. We also are 8 minutes away from the Wedington Animal Hospital if needed.
