âHarriet is absolutely wonderful!! Sheâs great at communicating and sends lots of pictures. Something that really makes her stand out is the love and care she gives to the dogs in her care. She treated my puppy like a part of her family, and I could see how happy and content he was when I picked him up. Weâve had many bad experiences with sitters on Rover, weâre so happy to have finally found an amazing sitter!! I couldnât recommend her more!â

âJojo had a great day. It had been about a year since Elizabeth had watched Jojo but she remembered him fondly and when he saw her home he was instantly excited as he could still remember having a great time. About: I've been dog sitting since I was a teen. I love dogs, my Hans is my first Baby, he unfortunately passed away with cancer at the age of 6. We were blessed to adopt his sister (his mom's last litter around 4 years ago) Piper. Piper is very sweet and tender. I run about 4 miles a day. And I walk with my son, Hakan who loves dogs, about 2 times a day. Safe area, plenty of room to run and play. Your fur baby will spend all day with me, my little boy and our 4 year old, ultra sweet border collie, piper If needed, we have a dog crate for sleeping in, but your dog is welcome to sleep in whatever arrangement he or she is used to. I prefer to host dogs at my home, but I can come to you too, so long as it's not too far away. I hope to see you soon! I am currently a stay at home mom and typically home nearly all day. I run every day and go.out and enjoy being outside a lot. I don't have a fenced yard but I don't take dogs out without a leash. I have fun with the dogs and so do my kids Adelaj 9, Magnus 5 and Hakan 18 months

About: I have had dogs since I was 10 and have done a lot of volunteer work at shelters. I love pets and am a consistant teacher I am not currently working outside the home so can put my immediate attention to your pets. I am very flexable as to days and times: Your home or mine. I do have a fenced in yard and my dog loves company outside or inside. I dont mind working on training. I do not mind crated animals.

âAngel and his mother did a great job looking after our dog. On the second day, she ran into their house with her tail wagging so our dog sure loved them! They are super responsive to messages and very accommodating.â

About: Iâve had a lifelong passion for caring for animals and have grown up around pets from an early age. For the past 3 years, Iâve also cared for and trained my own dog, giving me hands-on experience with daily care routines, behavior management, and creating a safe, loving environment for pets. Iâm currently on summer break from my role as a substitute teacher, which allows me to have a flexible and open schedule for pet care services. Aside from two previously scheduled trips this summer, I am available to provide reliable, attentive care and ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while youâre away. I provide a safe, pet-friendly environment with a fully fenced backyard that allows for secure outdoor play and exercise. My home is shared with two friendly, well-socialized dogs who enjoy the company of other pets and help create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. I also have crates available if needed, whether for your petâs established routine, comfort, training preferences, or safe rest time. My goal is to ensure every dog feels secure, cared for, and right at home during their stay.

About: I worked as a dog walker and sitter for 3 years and had my own dog for 16. Iâm comfortable with different temperaments, follow routines closely, and pay attention to behavior so things stay consistent and dogs feel settled. I work from home full-time, so Iâm around throughout the day. I do teach yoga a few times a week, which takes me away for 2â3 hours at a time. Otherwise, Iâm home and present with the dog. Iâm in a single-family home with a large (partially fenced) backyard, though I prefer getting dogs out on walks rather than relying on the yard. I live near the Bentonville trails and greenway, so thatâs where we go for longer walks - usually in search of the best sniffing spots. No other pets or children in the home. Itâs a quiet, non-smoking space. Windows are usually open for fresh air, and thereâs a big floor-to-ceiling window where dogs can hang out and watch the calm, quiet street. Iâm flexible between sitting at my place or yours, and I can accommodate a crate if needed.
âKylie was so communicative and caring with our pup! I would definitely recommend her to others. Our pup is super playful and had a great time hanging out with Ollan, he came home happy and satisfied! ?â

About: Hello, I own 6 ferrets, 2 cat's, a dog, a snake and a bird. I've owned animals my entire life and love all animals. Im a sucker for big dogs and especially Rottweiler's and Pit bulls. I don't mind house sitting and letting them out multiple times a day and walking them so they don't get to bored or lonely. I'm also happy to scoop litter boxes and play with cats or ferrets (I'm also a sucker for these little heathens). Also more than comfortable feeding any scaley friends. I don't have any problem with any animals, I've never met a dog I didn't love and I'm looking forward to hanging out with your fur babies. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
About: Iâve been a dog mom for over 10 years. I currently care for my sweet boy Milo, who has been with me for 4 years, and my older girl Zoey has been part of our family for 11 years. Because of them, Iâm comfortable with both energetic younger dogs and gentle senior care. Iâm patient, calm, and very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and emotional needs. I follow instructions carefully and treat every dog like family. You can expect lots of communication, photos, and a safe, loving environment for your pet! Iâm home most days and have a predictable routine, so pet care fits naturally into my day. I take Milo out regularly, and adding another dog into our routine is easy for me. I can offer walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention throughout the day. Iâm flexible with timing and can adjust to your petâs needs I take safety and comfort very seriously. I make sure pets have a clean, cozy space, regular potty breaks, and plenty of supervised playtime. I follow feeding schedules exactly and pay close attention to each dogâs personality and needs. Milo is wellâbehaved and friendly, and I always introduce dogs slowly and calmly. Your pet will be treated with patience, love, and consistent care.

If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
