About: Walking, bathing, and hanging out with dogs is some of my favorite downtime activities. Growing up with a dog I learned all the necessary skills to watch over a dog. I even volunteered at the humane society in both the dog and cat area for four years! I am currently a teacher so I work from 7-4pm Monday through Friday, but if you need someone to walk your dog at night or house sit for the weekend or even a week night, I am your person! My husband also works from home so if you’re boarding during the week day he is also here to help out if needed. Whatever you need me to do is what I will follow. I will come to your place as my animals do not take well to strangers. But rest assured I will take great care of your animal, in whatever capacity you need. At our home we two cats that do well with other dogs but tend to ignore them, and one dog who LOVES other dogs so no worries there.

About: I am a lifelong animal advocate. Having recently lost my own pups to old age, I have a big space in my heart and home that I’d love to share with your dog. I deeply value the unique bond between humans and their pets, and I would be honored to be your dog’s trusted companion while you are away. My home provides a calm, attentive, and nurturing atmosphere—perfect for pups who need a little extra TLC, playtime, or just someone to keep them company. I have experience as a dog grooming assistant, dog-sitter (overnights), and also have cared for my senior dogs who both had special needs. I am a healthcare provider (occupational therapy) as a profession, so I have medical experience as well. I’m currently working 32-hours Monday through Friday, only about 6-7 hours a day. I work less than a mile from my home, so I am easily able to stop by on lunch breaks as needed. I am completely free after work and all weekend long, when off work, your pup will be my full attention! I also have a pet-camera in my home for when I am gone. My house is extremely pet safe, I have had senior pups and have purchased many adaptive equipment, such as pet stairs, to keep them safe. I have a fenced back yard and one pup, Lida, who is extremely friendly and always eager for more pet-friends. I have basic medical pet care training and a very safe home.

I naturally have a calm, peaceful presence, so I would be a great match for your anxious, senior, shy, low energy or more laid-back dogs or cats. What sets me apart is that I work remotely, which allows me to be present with pets throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. This gives me the availability to respond to their needs, routines, and energy levels. I’ve had experience with animals for many years. I previously owned a black lab named Aurora, and I currently have an orange cat of my own. I also have regularly helped care for my mother’s two dogs — a Maltese Schnauzer and a Golden Retriever — and I’ve looked after my sister’s dog multiple times in the past as well. Animals tend to gravitate toward me because I pay close attention to their body language, boundaries, and personalities. I’m very mindful of their cues and comfort levels, which helps me understand what they need more or less from me. But if I do drop in visits, I can do 2-3 drop in’s a day. 1st at 7:00-8:00a, 2nd at 11a-1:30p and 3rd at 4:30p-10p - depending on my work schedule and the daily demand. I’m very respectful of both the home and the routines that your pet is used to. I keep the environment calm, clean, and consistent so your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. I can visit once a day, three times a day, or even keep your pet all night! I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your furry babies! About: I grew up on a farm so naturally, I love animals. I've always been around dogs, cats, and livestock. I currently have a dog and cat of my own, so I'm always researching to better understand body language, vocalizations, breed specific traits, and positive reinforcement techniques that help me strengthen the bond between me and the animal. I also have volunteer experience. I started my first pet sitting job when I was 12 for my neighbors who were big travelers. Since then, I've fallen in love with the idea of getting paid to play with animals. I'm very thankful and passionate about what I do! I have another job which I pick my own schedule for around my Rover bookings, so my availability is always completely open. I'm flexible enough to accept same day bookings. I've grown up with pets of all personalities. My parents have always called me the animal whisperer of the family. I love learning about how their brains work.
