Dogs are my favorite people!
I grew up with dogs, helping my parents raise English and French bulldogs for 10 years in our family kennel, which was USDA certified. I've always had at least two dogs in the house (plus the 32 we owned in the kennel!) and I now have two dogs of my own (ages 13 and 3) at home with my husband. I have been raising/house training dogs almost my entire life and I love them to pieces! I am experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes, and I love going on walks with them and playing with them. I am a stay at home mom, so I am almost always available, with the exception of Sundays between 10 am and 3 pm. Please drop off for a boarding stay or schedule a drop-in/dog walk time either before or after those times on Sundays. I am available for meet and greets every weekend and every weeknight after 5pm! I can't wait to love on your pup!

Mikala was great to work with! We met up beforehand to ensure that my dog would do well with her. It was kind of a last minute dogsitting situation. I know my dog, and could tell in the pictures during her stay that she was getting lots of love and enjoying herself! We would have no problem taking her there in the future.
Chester was so happy when we picked him up. They did a great job with him and took the cutest pictures. We so appreciate the great care they gave to him. 100% recommended!!
Mikala took very good care of my pup. She was happy (and tired) when she got home.
Mikala did an amazing job dropping in and taking care of my 2 dogs!! One of my dogs is fairly skittish and Mikala helped her feel comfortable enough that she came right out by the end of the weekend. Highly recommend!
Mikala was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of Remy and treated her like part of the family. She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear Remy was happy and comfortable. Mikala was also incredibly flexible and understanding when my drop-off plans changed multiple times, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. She even reached out after I picked Remy up because she found one of Remy’s bowls and offered to ship it back to me. That level of thoughtfulness really meant a lot. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and I would absolutely trust Mikala with Remy again. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I currently work from home on a flexible schedule: I can do drop-ins before 7:30am, on my lunch break at noon and after 5pm, and I'm available for drop off any time during the day if you let me know in advance.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs who have separate sleeping spaces. All dogs eat in their crates (please bring a crate for boarding) and sleep in them at night with the exception of our shepsky who sleeps in our bedroom. Dogs can all be separated or together as needed and are free to go outside all day every day through the dog door.

A typical day
We will go outside, play fetch, tug of war, hide the toys, you name it! Whatever your dog loves, that is what we will do!
