I currently work from home on a flexible schedule: I can do drop-ins before 7:30am, on my lunch break at noon and after 5pm, and I'm available for drop off any time during the day if you let me know in advance.

I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs who have separate sleeping spaces. All dogs eat in their crates (please bring a crate for boarding) and sleep in them at night with the exception of our shepsky who sleeps in our bedroom. Dogs can all be separated or together as needed and are free to go outside all day every day through the dog door.

A typical day
We will go outside, play fetch, tug of war, hide the toys, you name it! Whatever your dog loves, that is what we will do!

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, helping my parents raise English and French bulldogs for 10 years in our family kennel, which was USDA certified. I've always had at least two dogs in the house (plus the 32 we owned in the kennel!) and I now have two dogs of my own (ages 13 and 3) at home with my husband. I have been raising/house training dogs almost my entire life and I love them to pieces! I am experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes, and I love going on walks with them and playing with them. I am a stay at home mom, so I am almost always available, with the exception of Sundays between 10 am and 3 pm. Please drop off for a boarding stay or schedule a drop-in/dog walk time either before or after those times on Sundays. I am available for meet and greets every weekend and every weeknight after 5pm! I can't wait to love on your pup!

Mikala was amazing and anytime I need an overnight sitter she is the first person I will call on. My Gypsy was so taken care of over the thanksgiving holiday. I received regular pictures and updates with a smiling puppy with her new friends. A special thanks to Mikala and her husband for helping me with our puppy drop off as I was hospitalized a few hours after our meet and greet and wasn’t able to meet personally. That meant so much to me that these sweet people went out of their way to help me. I would absolutely recommend Mikala for any service with Rover. The apitamy of a puppy mom and no doubt your fur babies will be in good hands with Mikala.
Mikala is great! We send our pups to her every time we are out of town. She's incredibly accommodating and communication is easy. Highly recommend!
