“Steffany has been wonderful! She has watched my dog Lucy when I was out of town and has been a recurrent walker for my dog Linus for the last few weeks! She is super attentive to the dogs, she leaves detailed feedback about her time with the dogs and the most adorable photos for me to see when im away and missing the doggies! Will definitely use in the future as well!”

About: As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to have a trustworthy caregiver. I am currently a Frenchie (3yrs) mom, however I have experience with senior care, large dog breeds, and puppy training (under 1yrs)! Also fluent in Spanish if translation services are needed I am currently working part-time so I am frequently available for pet sitting or pet check-ups! I am most available Thursday-Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays before 2pm! I have a friendly French bulldog that can keep your fur-child company and a mobile grate I can bring if needed. Also I am very attentive to detail and schedule building depending on your pet’s needs!
About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and grew up with them throughout my childhood. While I haven’t been in the right season of life to have a dog of my own just yet, spending time with dogs is something I truly enjoy and value. I love being outdoors, going for walks, and helping dogs burn off energy while having fun. More importantly, I strive to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while they’re with me. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes them happy and helping them feel at ease. Whether your dog loves long walks, extra attention, playtime, or simply having a calm and caring companion, I’ll treat them with the same kindness and affection I would give my own. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable and confident while they’re in my care. I am currently working from home Monday through Friday, but have lots of flexibility within my schedule throughout the week. I am also available for weekends as needed! I currently live in an apartment, so I provide care in your home or through walks and outdoor exercise in safe, public spaces. In-home care allows your dog to stay in a familiar environment, stick to their normal routine, and feel more comfortable while you’re away. I focus on maintaining consistency with feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific routines your dog is used to. My goal is to reduce stress for both you and your pet by keeping everything as normal and calm as possible. Whether it’s stopping by for walks, spending time with your dog in your home, or making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention outdoors, I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust in every visit.

About: I’ve grown up in a household with multiple dogs and have two summers of hands-on experience working at Petsuites in Lee’s Summit. Through boarding, daycare, and grooming support, I’ve cared for dogs of different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medication administration, supervising playgroups, and helping pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. As a college student-athlete, I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy keeping dogs engaged through walks, playtime, and outdoor activity but can also enjoy a laid back day in with a pup. I’m responsible, dependable, and used to maintaining structured schedules and routines. I am currently a college student home for the summer with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. As a student-athlete, I’m very active and enjoy spending time outside, going on walks, and keeping pets engaged through playtime and activity. I’m used to maintaining structured routines and making sure pets receive consistent care and attention throughout the day. I have grown up in a multi-dog household and currently have three friendly dogs at home that are well-socialized with dogs, cats, and children. My experience working at Petsuites also taught me the importance of safe introductions, supervision, structured routines, and recognizing different pet temperaments. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s individual needs, routines, medications, and comfort level to help them feel safe and cared for.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and currently have three. I’m new to using the Rover app but have always been taking care of dogs and have even helped my parents dog-sit on Rover! I’m a full time college student so I will be busy during work hours but my early mornings and afternoons are generally free! I am out of town some weekends but most I am in Springfield! I love animals and I’m very patient with them. I’m good at reading what dogs need and how they’re feeling. I’m also aware that every animal is different and requires its own special attention!
About: My experience includes years of boarding French Bulldogs and other breeds right alongside my daily routine. I know how important consistent bathroom breaks are, so I've always made it a priority to check in throughout the day to let dogs out when owners are gone. Every dog deserves attentive, reliable care — and that's exactly what I provide. As a remote worker, my schedule is flexible and dogs fit perfectly into my daily routine! I love getting outside and staying active, so walks are already a big part of my day. I can easily take calls and catch up on work while keeping your pup moving and entertained. Your dog won't just be watched — they'll be an active part of my day! I always trust and respect what the owner knows best about their dog. Every pup is different, and no one knows them better than their family. I also understand that I'm a stranger at first, so I never rush the process — I let the dog set the pace and come to me on their own terms. Building trust takes time and I'm always patient and respectful of every dog's boundaries.
“Katie is amazing! She came over and helped sooth my new puppy mom anxiety by making sure luna was taken care of, fed, and let out! She stayed to play with luna, which was not necessary, but greatly appreciated!”

About: I’ve actually been pet sitting for years and have volunteer experience with the ASPCA. I’ve cared for senior and special needs dogs. We love all pets though I’ve even pet sat lizards snakes and cats. My schedule is pretty flexible I work remotely as a contractor for a big company Monday through Friday. “Mackenzie went above and beyond for my pup! My poor baby had an emergency vet visit earlier in the morning but Mackenzie took such great care of my dog when she let her out for a potty break and attempted walk. She was extremely attentive and thoughtful with my baby. She even brought my packages inside!”

“Anastasia (Kristi) was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to help tire our pup out with some exercise, and did some bonus training and cuddles. Our lab mix Kadee Buggins really soaked it up and we can’t wait to book her again! Very kind. Very professional. Extremely fast response rate and excellent communication with the visit. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
