About: I have had dogs my whole life and currently have three. I’m new to using the Rover app but have always been taking care of dogs and have even helped my parents dog-sit on Rover! I’m a full time college student so I will be busy during work hours but my early mornings and afternoons are generally free! I am out of town some weekends but most I am in Springfield! I love animals and I’m very patient with them. I’m good at reading what dogs need and how they’re feeling. I’m also aware that every animal is different and requires its own special attention!

“First time user, and Tiffany was great!! Kind and patient, very responsive and kept me up to date on everything. Came home to a very happy pup! Will be booking again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets from as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, I currently have 3, whom I love dearly. Meeting new pets and taking care of them make me extremely happy. Dropping in on doggies and cats is my job. I throughly enjoy walking, playing, and taking care of animals. It’s something I look forward to every day. I make sure to clean up after myself after every visit. I’ll communicate with the owner throughout my visits, asking questions when I have them or letting the owners know if there are any problems while they are away.

About: I’ve actually been pet sitting for years and have volunteer experience with the ASPCA. I’ve cared for senior and special needs dogs. We love all pets though I’ve even pet sat lizards snakes and cats. My schedule is pretty flexible I work remotely as a contractor for a big company Monday through Friday. Although I’d prefer daytime bookings let me know what you’re needing My dogs eat chicken free food cause our pug is allergic. Mushu’s special care is we wipe his wrinkles & ears daily with a weekly bath. Buddy is a tank who can eat anything but he needs his paws trimmed once a month. Buddy deals with anxiety from being a sheepdog with no sheep so he has lots of toys and an occasional cbd treat.

About: I have raised all 3 of my dogs since they were puppies. They’re very active so I love to exercise with them and teach them all the skills! I think structure and routine are the best ways for them to learn, especially puppies! They’re practically babies! I treat all my dogs like they’re my kids. They truly are a part of my family! I go to college Monday-Friday 8am-12pm. I could walk or come do a check in any of those days after noon! If I’m house sitting I can do any day through the week, I just wouldn’t be home till 2-3 in the afternoon since sometimes I stay at school and study. I could always go back to your house to let them out to potty or play with them and then go back and study! I will always follow any rule you set. The routine you set would be followed to a T. I’m am reliable and very trustworthy. Like I said I treat my own dogs like my kids and I would do the same for yours!!

About: I've had dogs my entire life! My first pup that was actually mine was a Great Dane named Mazie. So I've definitely had experience with big dogs and am pretty comfortable with them. I've also owned pit bulls that ended up having puppies so I've been able to experience the complete dog journey from newborn to final bark. ( :( ) I do work full time but am able to do a drop-in during my lunch hour if needed. I'm also available most nights and weekends! I do work full time down town, but I get a one hour lunch break and can let your pet out or go on walks during that time! My evenings and weekends are generally free to help with pet care! I don’t have a fence, but I have a nice full yard and my dog Laney is super friendly and will keep your pup company!
About: I've had dogs and cats in my life since I was born. I started helping with their care since I was a young child, including sitting with the family dog who was had siezures. More recently in the last 10 years, giving my, (since passed), elderly dog his eyedrops and pills. Dogs and cats are hilarous creatures that deserve love, patience, kindess and respect of their boundaries. Paw parents guidleines and rules for their furry family members will always be followed. I'm flexible with the animal care as I do not have a 9-5 and with working holidays. I keep my animals on a routine schedule and understand that animals need routine to thrive. I am happy to help you keep that routine for your household, as long as there is availability in the schedule. Whatever the rules and guidelines that are given by the paw parents for the care of their animals will be followed. If an animal is highly stressed, they are given the space they need or taken out of the enviroment that is stressing them, ( ex: a reactive dog seeing another dog and is starting to reach their threshold will be redirected or taken out of the enviroment.)

About: I’ve been around and exposed to animals of many kinds since I was a kid and can’t wait to get to know yours! I know the basics of taking care of cats and dogs and I’m willing to learn more! I’m a college student with a part-time job but my days and weeks are very flexible and adaptable so I’ll be able to fit your pets right on in! As a college student, I’m not allowed to have pets in my dorm so instead, I come to you! I would love to be able to take care of and play with your pet in whatever way you/they need!
“Steffany walked my greyhound several times a week and was great with him! She always sent me updates and pictures and he seemed to love his daily walks with her! Steffany was also very flexible with changes in my schedule as well. Unfortunately I had to move but would definitely recommend using her services!”

About: I have pet sit since I could drive, both dogs, cats, and horses. I will always be flexible with each pets individual needs and wants. I am available to walk and visit your animals almost all day. When house sitting, I try to stay in the house a majority of the day. Loving your animals and taking care of them is my priority during those times! I understand that keeping to the usual schedule is imperative when it comes to keeping an animal calm. Your animal deserves the consistent care that I can provide.
About: I grew up with both cats and dogs in my house. For the past 25 years, I've had no fewer than two dogs. With rescuing and fostering, I've had up to seven dogs in my care. I understand and appreciate how every pet has their own unique personality and their own likes and dislikes. I understand there are certain things that make them feel safe and things that put them on edge. I think I've always been good at making pets feel safe with me. My work schedule (including drive time) is from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. I am free all other hours of the day and weekends. I have a wife and son who love pets as much, if not more, than I do. I have two beagles and a german shephard who are accustomed to and enjoy having visitors to play with. I have had many different breeds of dogs that require or prefer a number of different things. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run. There are trees and bushes and plants and squirrels running along the fence top to keep them busy. I have multiple hydration stations through the house and yard and a room that can be set up to accommodate new guests and their crate, beds, and toys.
About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and grew up with them throughout my childhood. While I haven’t been in the right season of life to have a dog of my own just yet, spending time with dogs is something I truly enjoy and value. I love being outdoors, going for walks, and helping dogs burn off energy while having fun. More importantly, I strive to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while they’re with me. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes them happy and helping them feel at ease. Whether your dog loves long walks, extra attention, playtime, or simply having a calm and caring companion, I’ll treat them with the same kindness and affection I would give my own. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable and confident while they’re in my care. I am currently working from home Monday through Friday, but have lots of flexibility within my schedule throughout the week. I am also available for weekends as needed! I currently live in an apartment, so I provide care in your home or through walks and outdoor exercise in safe, public spaces. In-home care allows your dog to stay in a familiar environment, stick to their normal routine, and feel more comfortable while you’re away. I focus on maintaining consistency with feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific routines your dog is used to. My goal is to reduce stress for both you and your pet by keeping everything as normal and calm as possible. Whether it’s stopping by for walks, spending time with your dog in your home, or making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention outdoors, I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust in every visit.
“Katie is amazing! She came over and helped sooth my new puppy mom anxiety by making sure luna was taken care of, fed, and let out! She stayed to play with luna, which was not necessary, but greatly appreciated!”

About: I’ve grown up in a household with multiple dogs and have two summers of hands-on experience working at Petsuites in Lee’s Summit. Through boarding, daycare, and grooming support, I’ve cared for dogs of different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medication administration, supervising playgroups, and helping pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. As a college student-athlete, I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy keeping dogs engaged through walks, playtime, and outdoor activity but can also enjoy a laid back day in with a pup. I’m responsible, dependable, and used to maintaining structured schedules and routines. I am currently a college student home for the summer with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. As a student-athlete, I’m very active and enjoy spending time outside, going on walks, and keeping pets engaged through playtime and activity. I’m used to maintaining structured routines and making sure pets receive consistent care and attention throughout the day. I have grown up in a multi-dog household and currently have three friendly dogs at home that are well-socialized with dogs, cats, and children. My experience working at Petsuites also taught me the importance of safe introductions, supervision, structured routines, and recognizing different pet temperaments. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s individual needs, routines, medications, and comfort level to help them feel safe and cared for.
About: My experience includes years of boarding French Bulldogs and other breeds right alongside my daily routine. I know how important consistent bathroom breaks are, so I've always made it a priority to check in throughout the day to let dogs out when owners are gone. Every dog deserves attentive, reliable care — and that's exactly what I provide. As a remote worker, my schedule is flexible and dogs fit perfectly into my daily routine! I love getting outside and staying active, so walks are already a big part of my day. I can easily take calls and catch up on work while keeping your pup moving and entertained. Your dog won't just be watched — they'll be an active part of my day! I always trust and respect what the owner knows best about their dog. Every pup is different, and no one knows them better than their family. I also understand that I'm a stranger at first, so I never rush the process — I let the dog set the pace and come to me on their own terms. Building trust takes time and I'm always patient and respectful of every dog's boundaries.
About: I've always been the person in the neighborhood that everyone relied on to watch their animals while they were out of town. I've watched lizards, birds, pigs, cows, horses, rodents, and of course cats and dogs. I miss having that community and I'm hoping to build one similar out here in Springfield! I work full time, so that means I have open availability Friday and Saturday! Whatever time of day you require help, I can be there. I’m always ready for the range of requirements pet owners ask for when partnering with us as pet sitters. I have great attention to detail and welcome detailed instructions to provide the best care for your pets! Whether it’s as simple as letting dogs out into the fenced yard to play, or taking them for a walk down the neighborhood, I’m happy to do that for you.

Lauryn has been an amazing walker! She is reliable and attentive and always takes great care of my dog. She even went above and beyond providing water for her on longer walks in the summertime. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
