I’m respectful of each client’s home, follow routines closely, and make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and care during each visit. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands.

I like to know your pet’s routine, energy level, and personality ahead of time so I can make them as comfortable as possible. It’s also helpful to know their feeding schedule, any medications, and if they have any specific behaviors or triggers I should be aware of. I always appreciate knowing how they are around other people or dogs, their favorite activities, and anything that helps them feel safe and happy. The more I know, the better I can care for them like you would!
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and making sure they’re having fun! I’m always up for walks, playing fetch, or getting outside so they can burn off some energy. I also make sure they get plenty of attention and playtime during visits so they’re not bored or lonely. If they’re more laid-back, I’m just as happy hanging out with them, giving belly rubs, and keeping them company. I like to go off each pet’s personality and routine so they feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for.

I’ve been around animals my whole life growing up on a farm, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I love being active, spending time outdoors, and getting to know each pet’s personality. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits around Springfield and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Great communication!
When a family emergency happened, Lauryn was right there to take care of our 3 animals. 2 of the cats can be very persnicketty, but Lauryn took the time to get to know them and how they act. She provided updates on the time scale that we requested, which was each time she visited (twice a day) with accompanying pictures. She is professional, kind, and eager to do a good job. 10/10, will use her services again!
