I grew up on a farm so naturally, I love animals. I've always been around dogs, cats, and livestock. I currently have a dog and cat of my own, so I'm always researching to better understand body language, vocalizations, breed specific traits, and positive reinforcement techniques that help me strengthen the bond between me and the animal. I also have volunteer experience. I started my first pet sitting job when I was 12 for my neighbors who were big travelers. Since then, I've fallen in love with the idea of getting paid to play with animals. I'm very thankful and passionate about what I do!

Anna did great with my two cats making sure they have food and water and were happy. I made the booking wrong and she was able to accommodate me multiple times with no issue. Would definitely recommend her to other pet parents going out of town.
Anna is my go to anytime I’m out of town! We recently added a new kitten to our pets and he instantly loved her, not to mention the fact that my shy cat has began to trust her. She always updates me and sends lots of pictures, I can’t imagine leaving my cats with anyone else!
This was my first time using River and Anna was absolutely amazing!! My cats were well taken care of and very happy! She truly is an amazing pet sitter and let us updated the entire time we were gone. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great sitter that your babies will love!!
Anna is great! My dog is reactive towards new people, but she took the time to come and meet us in a place that my dog is comfortable before the visit. The day of the visits she kept me updated on the pets and sent lots of cute pictures to look at.
We came home to happy and healthy pups! Can't ask for much more!

Schedule
I have another job which I pick my own schedule for around my Rover bookings, so my availability is always completely open. I'm flexible enough to accept same day bookings.

I've grown up with pets of all personalities. My parents have always called me the animal whisperer of the family. I love learning about how their brains work. I understand their wants and needs and I respect their boundaries and quirks, which is why I think pets are so drawn to me.
Pets
A typical day
I love training and bonding with dogs. A tired dog is a happy dog, so I always make sure they're stimulated and getting the exercise they need. I have experience with puppies, large breeds, and reactive dogs. I also do free nails clippings and baths if requested. Cats love me too! I'm quiet and still around shy cats when we first meet so that they warm up to me quickly. Most cats hate sudden movements from strangers. I want yours to be as comfortable as possible while you're away.
