Experienced dog rescuer in Spfld
I have been rescuing senior and special needs dogs since I was 20 years old. I have experience giving insulin and subcutaneous fluids, administering allergy injections, changing diapers, and administering medication including pills, ear drops, eye drops, and medicated baths. I currently foster for a local rescue called 4 the love of K9s. I'm very particular when it comes to people caring for my dogs, so I am willing to follow any special instructions to a tee. My 8 year old daughter has been around dogs since she was born, but will be instructed not to interact with your dog if that is what you prefer. I homeschool my daughter, so we are home during the day. I don't leave for my part time job until after my husband comes home, as he is also an experienced dog rescuer. All doggie guests are invited to sleep in the big bed, but are also offered dog beds in the floor, or crates is that is what is preferred. Our drop off and pick up times are 9am through 5pm, but sometimes other arrangements can be accommodated. Although I do have a securely fenced yard, I do not allow dogs outside unsupervised. I am also willing to dremel your dog's nails for an additional fee. I do require a meet and greet at a public location before a first time booking. I usually choose Chesterfield Park, but am open to other locations!

Selena was Awesome!! I was concerned with my rescue he likes his space at times and will snap at other dogs if they get to close. So after meeting with Selena and her dogs she witnessed my concern and realized he was just saying "your in my space" She is very observant and can truly pick up what each dog needs!! I was Very impressed how fast she realized my 13yr old wouldn't drink out of a community water bowl something I forgot to mention..I could go on & on how impressed I am with her..I don't think you'll find any better!!
Selena was wonderful—so patient with our poodle pup and her separation anxiety. It was our first time to leave our 1-year-old, and Selena’s wealth of experience and knowledge was so evident as she instinctively knew exactly what to do to gain Penny’s trust. Her family was absolutely fantastic as well, and Penny seemed to enjoy making friends with the other dogs. We also loved that Selena let Penny decide where she wanted to sleep and followed her lead to help her feel comfortable. Selena was also great with sending lots of picture updates so we never had to wonder how Penny was doing. Highly recommend Selena!!

Dates de la garde
I only work part time 6pm to 10pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and I don't leave until my husband gets home from work. During the day, we provide lots of toys and interaction, with our own dogs, and yours!

I have a 6 foot privacy fence that is double locked from the inside and cannot he opened on the outside, as well as security cameras covering both sides of the back yard.

I don't like to take dogs out of the safety of my securely fenced and video monitored back yard. We play fetch, run around, and tug. Then we lounge on the couch. We cannot accept dogs over 25 pounds at this time.
