I love spending time with animals, as it’s my true happy place. I’m a retired elementary principal who wants to just spoil your babies, garden, read and travel. I have been an animal rescuer and fostered over 50 dogs. This will be my third year on Rover.

Lael and her husband were amazing! Not only were they welcoming and kind, Hamilton was immediately comfortable and seemed so excited for his stay. He usually has some (a lot of) anxiety when we leave, but this time when they took his leash he just turned away and led THEM inside without so much as a goodbye to mom and dad! We got pictures and messages updating us on how he was doing and he looked super happy and having a great time. I was honestly wondering if he would willingly come home with us or not. 100% will be rebooking when we have to go out of town again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Lael and Shawn were wonderful to meet, and took tremendous care of our dobie Ivy. We have a hard time finding people to watch our girl, and do not feel comfortable leaving her with just anyone. Lael has a dobie herself and understands the breed. Ivy had a great time and we would love to rebook again.
We love leaving our dog, Princeton, with Lael. She is a lovely person. Princeton gets stressed out at a regular kennel, but with Lael, he comes home happy and relaxed every time.
Sweet couple, beautiful place. Our dog enjoyed their back yard. Lael sends pictures for you to see your fur baby and is great at staying in communication!
Samson enjoyed his stay even if he tried to break out of the crate! Lael handled our needy boy!
Lael and Sean continue to love on Oakley while we are gone. She loves their dogs and comes home exhausted from all their playing!!

Schedule
I work part time with a flexible schedule and so does my husband, which allows us to be home almost all day. We occasionally are out for 1-4 hours at the same time.

We have an extra large doggie door and 1.5 fenced acres of yard for running and playing! We often go for nightly swims in the pool too!

Walking, back yard games, time with friends, and swimming are all part of our daily routine. They are treated like family and spoiled like grandchildren!
