“Joanna and Gilbert took very good care of Snowy. They were very mindful of his feeding and walking schedule. Joanna was also very prompt with communication which I really appreciate.”

“Rene and Steph took such great care of my dog. They have two dogs who are friendly and were good companions for my pup. I will continue to rebook and highly recommend Rene and Step!”

“Taurus was great. Highly recommend. He’s communicative throughout the process. He suggested and then we easily arranged a meet and greet before he sat the dog. Great service”

“Justin and Jeremy are awesome! I needed a last minute sitter for my pampered pup and Justin and Jeremy responded very quickly to my request and I was able to schedule a meet and greet a few hours after speaking. My pup was scheduled for daycare the following day and I know she had a great time as Justin and Jeremy sent pictures throughout the day of her taking a walk, napping, and enjoying cuddles. When I returned to pick her up I could see she was very comfortable with Justin and Jeremy and had a full day playing with other pups as she quickly fell asleep on the car ride home. I would definitely entrust Justin and Jeremy with caring for my pup again! Thank you Justin and Jeremy! -Jessica and Coco Monroe”

“Brianne was amazing with Miles! She took great care of him during my long shift, keeping me updated with photos and making sure he was happy and well-exercised. I could tell he was in great hands, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

“My doggie had a wonderful time with Asma and her pooch Mica! She was super considerate of his idiosyncrasies, and planned out a wonderful, well balanced, day care day for him.”

“Juliet was very accommodating to my work schedule. She kept me informed with pictures and how Remi was doing throughout the day. She is caring, kind and sweet and will make sure your pup is taken great care of.”

“Matty has been very communicative, flexible, friendly, and most importantly great with Teddy Bear :) Best of all, he came highly recommended by people in whom I have complete confidence with regard to Teddy Bear's care, so I was able to have total peace of mind when I dropped Ted with him for the first time. Thank you, Matty!”

“I was really impressed with Jason N. and can't recommend him highly enough! My pup is a shy rescue with separation anxiety, but she immediately felt right at home at Jason N.'s and was having so much fun with the wonderful resident dog that she barely noticed when I left. I received regular updates on her day that completely assuaged any concerns I'd normally have, and when I picked her up at the end of the day I found her happy, relaxed, and all played-out. Having someone I really trust to watch Stella is an immense piece of mind, and I'll definitely be calling Jason N. next time I need a sitter.”

“Nick was the sweetest with our nervous pup, and she warmed to him immediately. He is a great communicator, very thoughtful and considerate, and a joy to work with. We will definitely be using his services regularly.”

“Shantell is always reliable and flexible. And my dog gets excited when she sees we are going to her house, so I know she feels comfortable there.”

“My dog seemed happy and healthy on pickup after two nights. I didn’t meet Dominique, just met her brother on both dropoff and pickup. He was good with my dog and theirs, as well as a third old pup who was at the house at pickup. They had the porch secured with a barrier that would not hold a big or determined dog but it seemed they were out there supervising all the time so no worries about escapes. They communicated well, I got photos and a few texts around logistics. Thanks guys! We’ll definitely consider using them again.”

“Fitz came home from her daycare stay with Amanda and Andrew so happy and ready for a nap! Amanda has been so easy to communicate with, and hosted us for a brief meet and greet before Fitz’s first stay. She asked lots of great questions about how to keep Fitz safe and happy, and drop-off/pick-up were a breeze. We so appreciate the peace of mind knowing our little girl is being treated like family. Amanda also sent pictures during the day so we could see our pup living her best life. We (and especially Fitz) can’t wait until next time!”

About: Sage is a small Boxweiler (Boxer X Rottweiler) She’s a love bug and I’m excited to have her in my life. — I’ve raised my dog Blossom from the time she was 8 weeks only till 6/18/2024 so I have puppy experience. She was 15 years old and a MinPin. I lived with my best friend for 7 years and helped care for his dog Chester (8 y/o Shepard/Chow). I absolutely love dogs. I’m autistic and find I really connect with dogs of all sorts. I’m home all day as caring for doggies is now my primary source of income, so I can give frequent breaks and afford lots of attention for play etc. I ensure that the space is free from human food items within reach of dogs unless I’m am actively consuming something. I don’t give table food/human food to dogs except for blueberries. Since blossom was a senior dog she had stairs to help her get on the bed. She had her own bed and kennel as well. I expect and appreciate you providing a kennel that comfortably allows them to chill in for 4-6 hours if possible.

“Frankie was very good with my dog, and sent me lots of photos and a video. Even though my dog was very happy to see me when I picked her up, she kept running back to Frankie for more pets, which is always a good sign.”

“Your dog will be in great hands. I can’t recommend Johanna enough. I don’t usually leave my dog with people he doesn’t know so I was quite nervous, but she made us both feel very at ease! Johanna even played classical music for him. Amazing dog sitter!”

About: Hi! My name is Ali and the TLDR is I wanna help you spoil your pups (and other pets) with lots of walks and love! I'll spend the extra time to rub their bellies, play fetch or tug, let them sniff every blade of grass until they say it's enough. And I'll work with you support any training, socialization or routines you have. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life from the time I was a child--I currently have a 6 year old Standard Poodle, Leo, and regularly care for my mom’s miniature dachshund, Sadie—they’re quite the pair on walks! While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been a pet sitter for over 15 years and have cared for dogs of all ages from 8 week old puppies to special needs seniors. And despite my claims of being a life-long dog person, I also grew up with cats and tend to be my friends’ cats’ favorite human. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, and I’m dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for them. I aim to give your pets the same level of care and attention as I do my own. My Services Right now, I primarily offer dog walking and drop-in services. Day care and boarding are a possibility if our dogs vibe. My rates for walks and drop-ins are a bit higher to give me the flexibility to spend some extra time with your pet to make sure they're getting the love, care and attention they need, so a 30 minute walk will be a true 30 minutes spent on the walk. Dog Walking: I’ll take your dog on fun, active walks tailored to their energy level and preferences. Within reason, I let the dogs pick their routes, sniff ‘til their heart’s content and look for opportunities to incorporate any training you’re currently working on with your puppers. Drop-In Visits: I’ll stop by to check on your pet, make sure they’re fed, hydrated, and happy. We’ll have a potty break, cuddles and playtime. If there are any accidents, I make sure to clean up right away and let you know in case there is something we can do to make your pet more comfortable. Day Care & Boarding: Requires a meet and greet with my dog Leo (since it’s his apartment too)—Leo prefers to hang out with smaller dogs and puppies. I have access to a fenced in yard for the dogs to hang out and play, along with walks with me and Leo. I live across the street from Rock Creek Park and have a very flexible WFH schedule which gives me plenty of time to dote on your furbaby. Something else: Does your pet need care that doesn’t fit neatly into one of the Rover care categories? Let’s figure it out together! A Little Extra I always appreciate regular updates when my dog is with a sitter so I make sure to send photos, videos and report back on how your pet is doing. I'm willing to work with multiple pets, small or large; follow special diets; administer oral medication; basic behavioral training and socialization training. I have experience working with dog-reactive dogs and working with new dog parents to provide support (and a little break!) after adopting a dog or bringing home a new puppy. Looking Forward to Meeting You! I’m excited to meet you and your pet(s)! Let’s schedule a meet-and-greet so we can make sure it’s the perfect fit. I work from home and set my own hours so I’m easily able to fit walks and drop-ins through out the day. For day care and boarding, we'll try to find a balance between your schedule and ours. I’ll treat your dog like my own while also making sure to follow any house rules you have. I will always opt for a long line in open areas over off-leash, I have fenced in yard for plenty of romping time, and I’m more than happy to slowly work with pets that are timid/unsure until they trust me.
