“Camille was very helpful to me and kept me posted about my little fur family. She stayed with my “kids” while I had to be out of town. They did well. She was very responsive. Great job.”

“My dogs loved Gabriel! He was very interactive, took them to dog parks and took them on walks. He took great care of my house and left it cleaner than it was before. I will definitely be rebooking with him soon!”

“Riley took care of my cats for a weekend and she did a good job. My cats are older but they get a bit of separation anxiety and I worry about them being alone. Riley was able to follow instructions and left my home and cats as well as she found them. Riley sent a couple of photos and updates during the weekend which I appreciated. Thank you!”

“Mindy took great care of our three fur babies for the weekend! She sent updates with photos of each and was professional in her coming/going. She left the bedding folded and the house tidy when she left. We appreciated her flexibility in adding on an additional night to the original booking as well. We will be booking again! :)”

“Deanna did a great job with Millie. She took her on two walks, when no walks were required. She also handled a home intrusion (aka a friend dropping off food), which surely stirred Millie up (and also the fridge was too full for the food). We can't wait to have Deanna back!”

About: When you have 5 kids in the house, we ended up with a lot of different animals! We had everything, giant fish tanks with specialty fish, bunnies, hamsters, snakes, frogs, birds, lizards, of course dogs and cats, and we even fostered an opossum while we waited for the wildlife refuge to come get him. It teaches you a lot of responsibility at a young age and it gave me a lot of compassion for animals too. Pets are a privilege and we're so lucky to have them. I'm finishing up classes and preparing to transfer to Cal Poly for landscape architecture but I'm done for the summer. Back to serving and time to make some extra money! In my home my cats have a strict feeding schedule and a variety of feeding needs. One only gets wet food and dry food makes her sick, one will eat until he pops and the other free feeds with a microchip activated food bowl to protect from the previously mentioned fatty. I understand the complications that come with having pets, especially multiple pets, and I have all the love and patience in the world to give.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10 years old and currently care for my own 1-year-old cat. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me over the years to walk, feed, bathe, and give love to their pets while they’re away. I genuinely enjoy connecting with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I’m a college student currently on summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule with lots of free time! I’m available throughout the week and weekends for pet sitting, drop-ins, or walks. I’ll make sure your pet gets all the attention, playtime, and care they need. I always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in my care. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I focus on creating a calm and loving environment. I’m attentive to routines, feeding needs, and playtime, and I follow any specific instructions you leave to make sure your pet stays happy and healthy.

“Alexsandra watched our Boxer Nico in our home for a few days and maintained regular contact with us, providing daily updates during our time away. She took good care of our boy and was respectful of our home. If you’re looking for a sitter, we highly recommend her!”

About: Hi, I’m Bella! I’m 21 and living in San Luis Obispo for school. I have 4 years of experience caring for pets and I absolutely love animals. I’m available for dog walking, feeding, playtime, overnight sitting, and giving pets lots of love and attention. I’ve stayed with puppies as well as senior dogs up to 17 years old. I’m currently attending school part time so I have lots of time to spend with your animals. I am available for overnight stays any day of the week or weekend, as well as drop ins or dog walking! I care for pets in their own home by following their usual routine to keep them comfortable and happy. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, walked or played with for exercise, given fresh water, and have plenty of love and attention. I also keep the home tidy, send photo updates, and follow any special instructions from the owner.

“Paul took care of my dog and cat and went above an beyond. I never had to worry if someone was letting them out and feeding them. I got updates on what they were doing on a regular basis and they went on lots of walks.”

“Josie was awesome! She stayed at our place over a long holiday weekend and took great care of our dogs. She kept in touch the whole time, sent cute pictures, and let us know when one of our pups wasn’t feeling well. We really appreciated the updates. Came home to a clean house and two happy dogs—couldn’t ask for more. Will definitely book with Josie again!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs of every kind since I was a little girl. Pets have always been a staple in my family I until recently had pets in every place I’ve lived. Unfortunately where I currently live I’m not able to have a furry friend like before. I love the joy cats and dogs bring from unique personalities to goofiness and everything in between. I love on my friends and family pets whenever I get the chance. I miss being able to have one of my own but nevertheless I have so much love to show your furry family I have a flexible schedule, have a big heart and love animals. I’m here to treat you family like family with care love and walks Follow their instructions to a tea. Whatever feeding schedule, cleaning schedule, grooming, walks etc. I’m ready and capable to uphold those tasks at hand. Along with lots of tummy rubs

About: Hi! I’m Lauren — a lifelong animal lover with decades of hands-on pet care experience. I grew up in a home that always had dogs (usually three!), and I started dog-sitting back in college in the early 2000s. One of my favorite long-term clients had a huge white German Shepherd who growled at everyone. By evening on day one, he was upside down in my lap, getting a belly rub! I had two beloved dogs of my own for 15 years, and now that I have two young kids (and no current pets), I’m looking to share my love with your furry (or scaly!) family member. Whether it’s walks, belly rubs, or snuggle time, I’ll treat your pet like my own. Dogs, cats, snakes, bunnies — you name it, I love them all. 💛 If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about animals, I’d love to help care for your pet while you’re away! I only work a few hours in the morning (9-12), so my schedule is pretty flexible — I can often accommodate daytime, evening, or even last-minute pet care needs. I’m currently available for daytime, evening, and weekend bookings. I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own home, so I’m happy to care for your dog or cat in their familiar space while you’re away. That said, if you'd prefer your pet stays with me, I do have a safe, fenced-in front yard that's great for larger dogs to get some playtime and fresh air. Inside, your pet will be treated like part of the family — couches are fair game (as long as you’re cool with it!), and my whole family will be happy to shower your pet with love, snuggles, and attention.

“Zara is an amazing sitter for our pup, Ripple! She is so attentive to Ripple’s needs, very communicative and sends us lots of pictures and updates, and even braved a power outage at our place. We’re so grateful to know our girl was in great hands while we were away!”

About: As a Dog Behavior Therapist I have treated and trained dozens of pets and service dogs. I have been caring for animals and providing positive reinforcement and love to dogs and cats since I could walk. My first love was my Saint Bernard, who I taught to give me rides around the neighborhood. During my time as a home health nurse I also cared for many senior, disabled, troubled, blind, and injection dependant dogs. As an extremely active person, I enjoy treating dogs to quality time in the great outdoors, while working on their skills as good doggy citizens. In my opinion pets and verbal praise are even more important than treats for positive reinforcement, so my furry friends always get lots of affection when they’re in my care. I work with a very flexible schedule, so often have availability during the days for short and long adventures. I have lived and served this community for a decade, and now enjoy walking my furry friends in the parks and open spaces, or taking a drive in my SUV (with ramp for senior/disabled dogs) to the local dog parks and beaches. I keep an accurate and updated calendar here at Rover. I have a very flexible schedule, so usually have availability during the days for short and long adventures, or to check in on dog and cat friends. I have a doggy play space and open space for long walks and fun dog activities. Dogs are always supervised and updates sent to owner/s with photos and locations so you can feel secure in knowing where and what your beloved companion is doing to enjoy themselves.

“Nate and Kate are fantastic. They stayed at our house for a week and took care of Kaley, our soft coated Wheaten terrier and Kiwi, our parrot. Kaley is getting older and is on meds. Nate and Kate made sure she was well taken care of. I highly recommend Nate and Kate.”

About: I’ve had 4 cats and 3 dogs that I took care of since I was 10. Including feeding, walking, cleaning after, and playing with them. I’ve also taken care of my neighbors dogs while they went on vacation several times. I have recently graduated college and moved away from my parent’s house, so I don’t currently have any of my own pets that I take care of. I’m currently working a full-time job during the week. I leave around 5:30am and get home at 6:00pm. I have flexibility to leave work earlier occasionally if needed. My weekends are typically free as long as I’m not traveling. I can’t take pets back to my apartment because there is a no pets allowed policy. But I can travel to your home to pet sit or walk your dogs and will, of course, be respectful of your home and space.

About: As a pet owner and pet care taker for friends and relatives, I have had experience caring for pets for many years of my life. I truly love and enjoy caring for animals and hope for an opportunity to meet your lovely pet! I currently work full time, but will always be able to check on a pet before or after work with enough notice. I also can check on pets lunch breaks if needed; depending on location. I will make sure to secure your home or yard when dropping in to check on your pet(s). Safety is the most important thing when it comes to watching another’s pet in their own home. Our pets are our family :)

Aisha C.
“Aisha C. has been an incredible blessing as both a house sitter and pet sitter for my dog and cat. From the moment she walked in, her calm, loving energy put my pets at ease—something not everyone can do. She provided them with the same level of care and affection I would give myself, making sure they were not only well-fed and exercised but also emotionally nurtured. Aisha kept my home spotless, watered plants, and eve pool n sent thoughtful updates and photos that reassured me while I was away. Her reliability, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals make her truly one of a kind. Aisha is not just a sitter—she’s someone you can fully trust with your home and your furry family.”

“Isabella has been an amazing dog sitter/house sitter. I've had a few dog sitters in the past, but Isabella is on a different level. My animals love her (and I have one dog who does not like anybody). Isabella is the only dog sitter where I can go on vacation and actually enjoy my vacation without worry. One of my dogs had a medical emergency when we were on vacation and Isabella handled it without any problems. In addition, whenever we are out of town Bella sends us multiple cute pictures of our dogs looking happy and having fun. I would give Bella 5 out of 5 stars... she's that amazing.”
