About: I’ve adopted and fostered several dogs and cats throughout the years and have always felt a special connection to them. All of my friends and family members have cats or dogs, as well, so I’m always around them and helping care for them anyway I can. I’m currently completing my degree online while caring for my 1-year-old son full-time, so my schedule is very flexible. We also have a dog named Toby who is a 5-year-old, 70lb Lab-Cattle Dog mix. I am always going on long walks and hikes with Toby and my son, and we are always finding reasons to get outside! I am a firm believer in providing the best environment possible for animals because they truly deserve it. With my own dog, I make him fresh dog food from different proteins, produce, grains, etc., and I make sure to take him on a walk or run through the park every day (our favorite time of day in this house!) Animals also deserve love, attention, and a calm presence to feel safe in, and I always strive to provide that space for them.

“Anne is phenomenal. She was so wonderful to communicate with and made sure our kitty was well cared for while we were out of town. I really appreciate her thoroughness. It made leaving our girl a little easier.”

About: I've had a strong love for all animals my entire life, but cats and dogs will always hold a special place in my heart. It all started as a kid, taking care of my neighbors cats and dogs while they vacationed. As a teenager, I worked at a Ranch and took care of cats, dogs, horses, and cattle. Later on, I worked as a Dog Daycare Supervisor and Cattery Technician at a Facility, providing care for dozens of animals at a time. I give every creature I meet the same adoring affection. Adopting my own adorable cat, Marble, is absolutely the best choice l've ever made. He's the light of my life, just as I'm sure your baby is the light of yours. As a professional animal caretaker, I will provide your pets with the utmost care. I have experience dealing with medications such as eye drops, pills, and oral syringe. I am very thorough and hygienic, and I will clean up any mess your pets makes between sessions. I'll also be sure to send you lots of updates and pictures of your dogs/cats! I am fully vaccinated and boosted, and willing to wear a mask in your home if you prefer. I'm available weekday mornings, early afternoons, and evenings. On weekends, I am available all day long! I can’t wait to meet your adorable dogs and cats! I will care for your animals as if they were my own, and treat your home with the utmost respect. I will follow your rules and instructions admirably.

About: Hi! I'm Annie, a Bay Area creative with a lifelong passion for animal care. Growing up, I had the joy of caring for my own beloved pets - Fufu the poodle, Turtle the turtle, and Bibi the Siberian hamster. Each of them holds a special place in my heart and taught me how to provide attentive care for different types of animals. This hands-on experience has given me valuable insights into caring for different species and understanding their distinct personalities and requirements. I would love to provide dedicated pet sitting and walking services for your furry family members. I believe in giving each pet the same loving attention and care that I would give for my animal friends. Available for walks, home visits, and overnight stays, I'll ensure your dogs receive plenty of love, exercise, and companionship while you're away. From playful pups to senior sweethearts, I'm ready to give your dog the best care possible! With my part-time work schedule, I have plenty of availability to shower your pets with attention! I'm free Monday-Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm, perfect for midday walks, playtime, and check-ins. Your dog's safety is my top priority. We've got a securely fenced front and back yard, so your furry pal can romp and play to their heart's content without any worries. Our home is nice and roomy, with easy-to-clean wooden floors – perfect for dogs! We aim to create a super comfy and safe space where your dog can relax and feel right at home.

About: I have had animals my entire life: horses, cats, dogs, and even a hamster. I currently work at the Valley Humane Society Animal Shelter in Pleasanton, caring for the dogs and cats that await adoption. I have a strong need to nurture, and with my eldest going off to college this fall, my nurturing instinct is pulling me towards animal care. The most enjoyable way to do so is to care for the well-loved animals that need sitting while their parents are gone. I am widely available to watch your animal with a week's notice. I work 3 part-time shifts at the animal shelter, and during those hours, I am required to be on site. The rest of my days/week are very flexible. I take a calm approach towards dogs as I find them to get easily excited. I like to sit with them for a bit before taking them on a walk or outdoors. I will always keep dogs on a leash and the leash in my hand. Your dog will never be unattended while out, and I will keep a distance from other dogs/animals to protect your dog from the unpredictability of others. I will ensure that commands are followed based on your personalized training and that all daily schedules are consistent with your pet's daily routine. My priority is always the safety of your animal and their security while in my care.

“Natalie took great care of my golden retriever (13 years old) for more than a week. She was very diligent and sent updates after each visit. It was great to see him in great condition when we were back. Highly recommend her.”

“Thank you so much for taking care of our cats and our home! We felt able to relax on our trip knowing they were in good hands. We appreciated the all pictures and the check in cards.”

“Allison was wonderful with our two cats! They both seemed very happy and comfortable with her. Allison was also very accommodating when our travel plans changed last minute due to airline cancellations. We will absolutely have her watch our fur babies again!”

About: I have taken care of senior pups, dogs with specific medical conditions/medications, puppies, and more. I volunteer at the animal shelter and have boarded and walked dogs for the past 4 years in the city. I am also trained in handling reactive dogs as well as aiding new owners in behavioral training! I am currently taking online courses, and am almost always home. I have a dog of my own, and take him out on walks to the park by my house. I have a fenced yard and have a small dog of my own to welcome your pup into my house. We keep all food and loose items out of reach from him, as he is naturally curious.

“Stephanie was very responsive and helpful.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting all animals since I was 12 years old. I work with puppies/kittens and senior dogs. I am a strong walker and feel confident with reactive and strong dogs. I have no official training but I work on basic commands with dogs and can work with whatever routine they need. I love both cats and dogs and have experience with animals that need extra care like medication. I work with about 5 families that I regularly pet and house sit for and I plan on doing walks for other houses during the day. However I am mostly at home with the pets and give them all the love and attention they deserve. Feel free to reach out with any questions or my experience. I take pride in putting families at peace of mind knowing I am taking such great care of their animals and home. I’m hoping to do more dog walking with Rover but currently am focused on pet sitting. I do have 5 other families I pet sit for off the app. and they do get priority. However, my schedule is very open at the moment. I take pet and house sitting very seriously. I care about the health and safety of animals, and I know how much families appreciate their home being cared for while they are gone. I am a very clean person and always make sure the house is as clean (if not more) as when you leave. There is this amazing feeling of relief to come home after being away, and seeing your happy animals and clean home. I take pride in providing that experience to all my clients. I also send a lot of pictures and videos of the animals to send to clients to assure everyone is happy and well cared for.

About: I can handle all types of dogs whether they be big ones or small ones. Along with whether or not they are friendly to other dogs or if they are reactive. Additionally, I can provide medications to pets along with bathing them! I have a pretty available schedule and am open to short notice too! I can do early mornings if the dogs get up early or late nights if they need to relieve themselves before bed! In terms of caring for pets in my clients home, I ensure that they are fed their meals; however, many that is and a minimum of two walks. Usually three unless it is super hot in the afternoon! Moreover, I ensure to have play time with the dogs whether that be tug of war or throwing a ball!

10. Annie H.
“I have known Annie since we were 12 years old, having met at school. Annie has always been fun, outgoing, and full of energy. Growing up, we shared countless memories with my dog, Niuniu, a mixed-breed, along with two cats. Annie and I often walked Niuniu by the riverside or took her to the dog park. When my work required me to travel, I trusted Annie to dog-sit or board Niuniu, knowing she would care for her like family. As Niuniu grew older, she required special attention, including a diet of soft boiled sweet potatoes—her absolute favorite. Annie always followed these special instructions carefully, ensuring Niuniu ate well despite her aging appetite. We also began taking Niuniu out in a stroller as she became less mobile—especially helpful since my baby weighed at least 15 kilograms! Annie’s presence and assistance made these outings much easier and more enjoyable. Her patience and love for our senior dog were remarkable. Even as Niuniu slowed down with age, she would light up with joy and shower Annie with kisses whenever they saw each other. Annie’s warmth and care made her an irreplaceable part of Niuniu’s life and mine.”

11. Tiffany G.
“Tiffany Grove is the only person I trust with my two Border Collies. I have owned dogs and cats for many years and am very particular. She has proven to be an excellent dog/cat sitter. While I have used boarding kennels in the past, I know my dogs never get the personalized attention that Ms. Grove gives them. Border Collies are very energetic. She interacts with them, gives them individual attention, and they are always very happy when she has had them.”
