About: I’ve had animals my entire life and have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra care. I also have experience with cats and other critters, and I currently have all three myself, so I understand their unique needs and behaviors. I’ve worked alongside professional dog trainers, which has helped me build strong handling skills and better understand training, behavior, and safety. In addition, I’ve volunteered with animal shelters, giving me experience with a wide variety of temperaments and situations. I treat every pet like my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your pets! I’m currently transitioning into trade school Friday–Sunday, which means I have plenty of time during the week to dedicate to your pets! I’m available Monday through Thursday for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your furry (or scaly!) family members. I love building routines with pets and making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and happy while you’re away! For the comfort and safety of all pets, I provide care in your home rather than mine. I’m more than happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you provide to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for in their own environment. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic care, or just giving extra love and attention, I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care as my own.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since I was a child and the love never ceased. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats. I have extensive experience caring for senior pets who might need a bit more attention. I am currently home from UCSC this summer so have very open availability for providing services. Additionally, I have my own vehicle so there are no time constraints in scheduling. I will be able to crate your pets if needed, but if they prefer a cuddle I will happily oblige! Have a pet with lots of energy? We can do long walls or monitored off leash play if that’s what they are used to !

About: My older sisters have a lot of experience with Rover, and they love to drag me everywhere with them! You can trust me with your fur baby/babies because I have 3 of my own! I’m currently a part time student (online) for the summer, so i’ll have plenty of time with your pups! I’m available for housesitting during weekdays after class and weekends! I’ll flex to your schedule :) We make sure our dog is always on leash when taking her on walks, and our cats are inside only pets. They have plenty of toys and socialization to keep them entertained and happy.

About: I started dogsitting around my neighborhood two years ago and my business has grown very organically since then, with my name spreading from client to client. I have only just decided to get rover to further expand my client base. I now have 13 people who call on me for trusted, in house pet care. As a full time college student, this is the perfect job for me. I have a very pet-sitting friendly schedule. With classes monday-friday 9-1, I have the whole rest of the day to stay in your home and hang out with your pets. I trained my family dog to be a very well behaved, rule following pet, so I know how to handle family pets who are also trained to have certain behaviors. I’m also very active so I will gladly take your dog for a long walk.

About: I’ve always had a huge heart for animals since I was a kid. I treat pets as if they were my own and respect their space when needed. I’ve worked with different such as livestock (horses, goats, sheep, cows) and your typical domesticated pet. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, so having the opportunity to watch someone else’s pet brings me tremendous joy. I currently work full time at a vet hospital Tuesday-Saturdays so it is really nice to be able to come home after work to something warm and fluffy. While in a clients home I always check out the home first so I can feel comfortable and see all possible exits. For pets to gain my trust I always let them sniff me first and treat them as if they were mine. I give them space when they need it. I have high respect for an owners home as well and treat it as if it were my home.

I’ve also cared for my own dog with epilepsy, giving medication three times a day and providing gentle, patient care. We’re a warm, loving little family who adore all kinds of animals. I live with my husband and our 4-year-old son, who was born into a home with a cat and dog and has grown up loving animals and nature. At home, we don’t currently have a dog or cat, just fishes and a frog 🐠🐸. After losing our beloved dog, we haven’t been ready to adopt another one, which means your pup will get all the love and attention they deserve while staying with us! I can care for your dog at your home or mine, in any weather, for walks, hikes, playtime, or full-time sitting. I can also provide care for cats while you’re away. “I can't recommend Shiqi enough! My cat, Yuki, is extremely shy and usually takes a long time to warm up to strangers. I was quite worried about leaving her alone, but Shiqi was incredible. She was so patient and gentle that Yuki actually started rubbing against her and playing with her after just a few visits! The daily updates, photos, and videos gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was such a relief to see my cat happy and active instead of hiding.
