“Amy is extremely kind and has great energy! My pups are mostly used to being around family and she was so patient with them. Will definitely use Amy again and it’s very evident how much she cares about all the pets she is caring for! I felt completely at ease with Amy in the care of my pets and SO grateful she was able to help me on short notice! Thanks Amy!!”

“Ziying was a wonderful cat sitter for our drop-in visits. She is very kind, caring, and easy to communicate with. She kept me updated before visit and shared lots of photos and videos, which I really appreciated. My cats were well taken care of, and I felt completely at ease. I would definitely book Ziying again in the future and highly recommend her.”

“Rebooked with Andrew because I can't imagine trusting my precious baby cat and dog with anyone else! You'd think Andrew was Santa-Claws (ha, get it) from the way my dog IMMEDIATELY starts whining in excitement when he realizes "Uncle Andrew" is going to come spend time with him. My cat, who has NEVER voluntarily crawled onto my lap to sit and chill, is the total opposite with Andrew. He's both the cat AND the dog whisperer, and it's awesome. Andrew's great as always - punctual, caring, communicative, all the things that make for an excellent, trustworthy, above and beyond pet care giver.”

“Isabel was so dependable in a last minute pinch and took great care of our cat, Gemma. We are looking forward to working with her the next time we go out of town :) Thanks, Isabel!”

“Paige was extremely communicative, reliable and amazing! She sent update pictures for every visit and assured me that my pet bunny Luna was happy, healthy and well cared for. I was worried since most people don't have much experience with bunnies, but Paige asked thorough questions to make sure she cared for Luna in the best way possible. Would extremely recommend her!”

“Alison is such a sweet person. This is my first time asking for a cat sitter, and it couldn't go any better. Everything was smooth and Alison took care of my 2 cats while I was away for few days. She responds quickly to messages and she offered to come for meet and greet and agreed to have it on a weekend before I traveled. Thanks for making it easy Alison!”

About: I absolutely love animals. I've grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have two cats at home. Previously experienced with caring for my senior dog who had CKD. I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments as I'm currently working as a vet assistant and studying to be a registered veterinary technician. I recognize that every pet parent has their individualized way of caring for their pet and I strive to support that. Your furry kid means a lot and you should feel confident and comfortable with their care. I currently work 4 day weeks, 10 hours a day. I have three days throughout the week and nights after work that are available for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting. I do my best to maintain a safe environment, staying aware of harmful materials, chemicals or products that a pet could get into. Removing or storing these items safely to avoid any negative exposure. Especially for young pets (and labs) that will eat anything.

About: I have a 70-pound dog who is 6 years old. She tore both of her cranial cruciate ligaments (CCL), and I took care of her when she was unable to walk during her surgery recovery. I am very comfortable with walking dogs (even large ones!), using firm but gentle commands, brushing their teeth and fur, and cleaning up after them. I am also working as a part-time Veterinary/Kennel Assistant, and through this role, I have learned to measure and record canine vitals (weight, temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate); safely restrain and position dogs during vaccines, blood draws, and ultrasounds; observe canine behavior and monitor for blood pressure measurements and fluid therapy; and more! I have a very flexible schedule and I’m currently able to work most weekdays at any hour! I can adjust to whatever works best for you and your fur babies :) My primary goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for your pets! I am detail-oriented, responsible, and communicative. I am truly an animal lover (all of my undergraduate education focused on working with animals, such as sea urchins, harbor seals, baby sharks, coyotes, and more!). I have also had pets for most of my life, and they are truly part of my family. I care for my pets by ensuring that they are happy, healthy, and stimulated. If I had the honor to take care of your pets, I would absolutely do the same! :)
“I could not have been happier with Tatyana's care of my cats during my 8-day vacation. I am a very nervous traveler, largely due to worries about the pets, and Tatyana really helped me have a great trip. She spent quality time playing with the boys on each visit and provided full reports, including photos and videos. It was a great experience and I can't recommend her highly enough.”

I’m already organized with my time, so I can consistently check in, follow feeding schedules, and provide attention without rushing. About: I have taken care of senior pups, dogs with specific medical conditions/medications, puppies, and more. I volunteer at the animal shelter, work at a vet hospital and have boarded and walked dogs for the past 6 years. I am also trained in handling reactive dogs as well as aiding new owners in behavioral training! I am a currently studying to become a vet. I have a dog and enjoy taking him out on walks to the park by my house and weekend excursions (hiking nearby, beach days, etc!) Your pup is of course welcome to join or have a nice day in with us :) I have a fenced yard and have a small dog of my own to welcome your pup into my house. We keep all food and loose items out of reach from him, as he is naturally curious.
About: I’ve had many different animals including birds, hamsters, rabbits, reptiles, dogs, and cats. I’ve been a professional pet sitter for a couple of years now walking dogs and house sitting. I have experience with young and old animals such as senior dogs that are blind and deaf along with puppies that have a lot of energy. I do work full time, but I am able to come in the morning, lunch time, and in the evening as well as anytime on weekends! I care for pets in client’s homes by helping with feeding or letting them go outside to go to the bathroom. I look around the house to make sure there are no accidents. I play with them for 5-10 min outside if they need to get some exercise or take them on walks. I help with tidying up the house if needed and helping senior pets with any special modifications they need.
About: I have extensive experience caring for and training dogs of various breeds and ages. I've had three dogs, each a different breed, starting from when they were just 4 weeks old. I successfully trained them. My hands-on experience with different breeds and stages of development has equipped me with a deep understanding of canine behavior, making me a patient and effective pet caretaker. Additionally, my lifelong love for dogs and cats drives my dedication to providing the best possible care for your pets. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate ample time to pet care. I only have online classes at ASU Online, which means I'm available throughout the day to take care of your pets. This flexibility ensures that I can provide consistent, attentive care, whether it's for daily walks, playtime, or other needs your pets may have. My commitment to your pets' well-being fits seamlessly into my daily routine, ensuring they receive the best care possible. Safety and trust are my top priorities. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Kilkare Woods
Performed great drop in visits for our two spoiled cats while we had a local trip. Also had last minute request to water some plants in the summer heat. House, cats, and plants were well taken care of during her visit and will use Alysson again in the future.
Linda was very gracious and flexible to help out when I made last-minute plans to my trip. She continued to send daily photos of my kitty Scooter during daily check-ins, which left me feeling relieved to see him getting some socialization. Loved the videos she sent of her petting and talking to him!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
