I am home most of the day and can provide walks for the pet every evening. There is a nearby dog park that could provide for socializing dogs is requested. My own dog has reactivity challenges, so I understand the importance of patience and picking up on body language before a reaction happens. While I’m not a certified trainer, I’m happy to reinforce any training methods or routines you already use with your dog. My approach to pet care is centered around respect for each animal’s individual personality and boundaries. I prioritize clear communication and provide frequent updates and photos so owners feel informed and reassured while they’re away. I love meeting new dogs and cats and learning about their quirks, and I hope to meet your furry friend(s) soon! I understand my profile is new, so I don’t have as many testimonials. I have done work exchanges in the past on Workaway and WWOOF, and have attached those reviews as screenshots. You can also request references from me. I will be fully available for the entire month of August 2026 for any of your pet care needs, including drop-ins, walks, and overnight care. I take the time to get to know each dog by asking lots of questions and observing their personality and play style. I love playing with dogs, my own dog often mistakes me for one because I match his energy! Working with reactive dogs has taught me that every dog has their own boundaries and unique personality. I never treat one dog the same as another and am always respectful of your pet’s limits.

About: A Housesitter across North America for several years now, I have built a wealth of experience with a variety of animals and homes . I worked as a dog sitter and walker in NYC for five years, raised my own puppy from 8 weeks old. Then traveled to the West, housesitting my way across the country from VA to CA, OR and CO. I provide daily photo and video updates of your pets and can make framed prints available to order. I have had pets in the home since I was a child, including birds and hamsters as well as cats, kittens and dogs. I am currently looking for summer work, having worked as a Ski Instructor all winter in Arapahoe Basin. When housesitting, it is my principal job and priority. I do not currently offer care for a pet in my home, unless of course, they are happy living and traveling in my Class C motorhome.
