I was honestly a little nervous at first since I had never used Rover before or had strangers care for our dogs, especially since one of our dogs requires daily medication. We decided to do an initial meet-and-greet beforehand so we could get to know Cecilia and Ethan and make sure they were the right fit, and I’m so glad we did! I shared a detailed care guide with them, and they followed everything to a tee. They were incredibly responsible, attentive, and responsive throughout our entire trip. They also went above and beyond by taking our dogs out to the lake and even to Monterey! We received lots of photos and videos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. After meeting a few sitters, our dog immediately connected with Susan—and since Mochi only gives cuddles to very special people, I knew she was the one. We boarded Mochi with Susan for a few nights while we were away, and she was incredibly attentive to her needs. She took her on daily walks, played lots of ball with her—Mochi is a serious ball-aholic—and, most importantly, loved her like her own. She also sent updates and photos, which meant so much to us. At one point, I even joked that she shouldn’t spoil Mochi too much or she’d go into Susan withdrawal when she got home… and honestly, she did the next day! Susan is an absolute gem. About: Since the time I had my pet for the last 4 years, I can’t disagree to say I secretly love him more than my daughter😁. They are super cute, notorious, kind with those forgiving eyes. It would be fun to have your fur babies playing in my backyard and staying in our house. My daughter loves dogs, my pet is calm but friendly upon his mood and as a team, my family would love to host your fur babies. I am a software engineer by profession and working remotely. I am full time available at home, when the care is needed for the dogs. I have a playpen along with a large dog crate, if separation is needed. Backyard is fenced and is super secure. About: I have a Chihuaha, I rescued her in Domincan Republic and has been with me for 13 years. I'm from Venezuela were I helped many stray dogs. My job is 5 minutes from my apartment in car and I mainly work from home. So, I have time to play and walk to parks. In cases where I need to go to the office, I can always come back home if its needed and then come back to the office. I have great space in my small apartment so they can run and jump around if they like to do that. I also have many toys, if your pet like any of them, you can take it home. About: I absolutely love animals. I've grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have two cats at home. Previously experienced with caring for my senior dog who had CKD. I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments as I'm currently working as a vet assistant and studying to be a registered veterinary technician. “What a wonderful experience! Merci is my princess and I’m so overbearing with her, but from the second my husband and I met Sameer we knew Merci would be in good hands. He also sent photos and videos every day and Merci looked like she was on cloud nine 24/7! Sameer has incredibly effective communication, is very knowledgeable about different dog breeds, understands how to correct bad habits and really connects with each doggie personality. He is so passionate about working with dogs and that shines through from start to finish. “Hong is truly an amazing person. It's hard for me to fully put trust into someone to care for my 16yo Shiba that I've had for 15 years. After some awful boarding experiences elsewhere, Hong has given me hope to be able to be away and not worry about Boost. She would send messages to me throughout the day and it definitely put my nerves at ease. When we picked him up, he whined the whole car ride home!! He didn't want to leave. “We had a last-minute request, and Yu-Shu was kind enough to accept it. They are a very kind, tight-knit family, where it really feels your pup will be geniunely safe. I had some specific requests for my dog, and they followed them to the T. Thank you for being so flexible and considerate. They send regular updates multiple times a day, with photographs, which gives you a sense of comfort knowing how your pup is doing in real time. I would leave my pup with them in a blink, very happy we found this family to take care of our dog when we're away on vacation or work.”
“Really good experience! My dog, Toasty, stayed with Marina and Anwar for 4 days. They sent many frequent updates throughout the day and I always felt as thought my dog was in good hands. My dog also has a bit of a sensitive tummy, and they made him some boiled chicken and rice to soothe his tummy when it did start acting up. They also provided some for us to take home, which was totally not necessary but very much appreciated. I highly recommend Marina and Anwar for your dog sitting needs!”
“I had my adorable Nisco short hair with Siqin and everything went without hitch. It was urgent short notice and Siqin was able to accomodate all the way for two weeks, appreciate that.! When she not available, her husband also jumped in and provide all necessary case. Therefore, I'd fully recomm all along :) as long as they stay in business :)”
“Mannie had a great time with Jita and her family. We felt very comfortable and reassured knowing that Mannie was with them. Excellent communication and pictures every day, and we could see that their dog Thunder and Mannie co-existed nicely and played happily in their yard. “We had such a great experience with Cecilia and Ethan! I was honestly a little nervous at first since I had never used Rover before or had strangers care for our dogs, especially since one of our dogs requires daily medication. We decided to do an initial meet-and-greet beforehand so we could get to know Cecilia and Ethan and make sure they were the right fit, and I’m so glad we did! I shared a detailed care guide with them, and they followed everything to a tee. They were incredibly responsible, attentive, and responsive throughout our entire trip. They also went above and beyond by taking our dogs out to the lake and even to Monterey! We received lots of photos and videos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs basically had a little vacation of their own! 🥹 It’s very clear that Cecilia and Ethan genuinely care about dogs and put a lot of thought into making sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
