“This is the 4th time we contracted with Charlotte and have only the highest praise for her assistance with our dogs! Charlotte is always swift to respond to our requests and gives us a peace of mind when away from home!”

“I’m very appreciative of the extra care and attention that Susan and Ashley gave to my 3 cats while on vacation. Getting the updates and photos of my cats gave me reassurance that my cats were always in good hands.”

About: They call me the animal whisperer because of my natural instinct and draw towards animals and giving to their energy. Grew up with pets since I can remember! I’ve been taking care of others fur babies for over a decade. My schedule normally consists of working full-time 9-5, on occasions I have more flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. Services provided upon request and availability. Normally I do some part-time sitting with several drop-ins, and walks, or each separately at the fur parents home. On the occasion the pet is friendly and is comfortable at my home, they are always welcome here when needed.

“Mia was very attentive, thorough and detailed in her visits and her visit notes back to us. My cat has a lot of anxiety and she took care of him very well and made sure he was comfortable while we were away. Very nice. Would definitely rebook with her!”

“Kim has been helping me with my dogs for a few years now and am grateful for it! She is a great communicator and gets along great with my pitty and lab mix. They’re always so happy to see her. I really appreciate the photo updates and how reliable she is — it makes leaving my pups so much easier. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who genuinely cares!”

“Alyssa did a great job looking after our three cats! They are very shy and I warned her she might not see them at all throughout the week. She got two of them to come out and befriended them! Would recommend and book with her again.”

“Great job, so glad Archer and Lana had some company while I was gone! Very professional and always on time. Entertained the cats with toys and sure they had food and water. Was very understanding and accommodating with a scheduling change due to covid. Recommend 100%!!!”

About: Animals have been part of my life since I can remember. I grew up spending time on my grandparents’ ranch around all kinds of animals. I have experience riding horses and doing equine therapy. I adopted my first cat at 3, two more feline siblings at 13, and three years ago finally got my golden doodle, Muffin, who I trained myself. My pets are my world — and thanks to my equine therapy background, I’m a strong, calm communicator with animals of any size, big or small I’m 22 and studying Fashion Business, though I’m currently taking time off school to be with family and save up. I also model in NYC, so my schedule can shift week to week — that flexibility actually works well for pet care, since I’m not locked into a rigid 9-to-5 I can provide safety & trust by bringing a live camera with me to clients homes in which they can access to ensure their baby is being cared for and loved as if they were me own. Pictures & videos as well.
“Carla did an excellent job dropping in to help make sure our special needs senior doggo got his medication on time. She sends photos and videos to show us how he and out other furry babies are doing while we are away and treats our pets like her own.”

About: Hi! I’m Nick. Lifelong animal lover here who’s been caring for other people’s pets since I was 8 years old, back when I was the neighborhood’s go-to cat sitter and dog walker. That early start turned into a genuine gift: animals just seem to gravitate toward me, and over the years I’ve leaned all the way into being the “animal whisperer” of the family. These days I share my home near Weston with my wife, our 5-year-old son, and our own little crew: Tama, our 10-year old sweet chocolate lab (and honestly my body pillow and bestie for life), plus our two gentle cats, Lucy and Mochi. Growing up alongside both dogs and cats means I’m fluent in wagging tails and slow blinks alike, and my own pets are proof that a calm, loving household makes for happy animals. I’m happy to do whatever your pet needs to feel comfortable: neighborhood walks, long play sessions inside or out, plenty of cuddles, and mealtime handled just the way they like it. I’ve done overnights both in owners’ homes and in my own (where guests get to hang with my very friendly pack), and I have a soft spot and a lot of patience for senior dogs who just need a little extra care and gentleness. Whether your buddy is a bouncy puppy, a shy rescue, or a wise old soul, they’ll be treated like one of my own. Can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I’m currently working from home, and have plenty of time to play with your pets! Whether weekdays, weekends, mornings or afternoons, I am very flexible and can do multiple visits daily or multiple days weekly within certain logistical means. In my house, I take extra care to ensure my own pets are safe and secure (fenced yard, cautious about opening and closing doors, etc). I take the same care for visits as well. All animals are treated as if they were my own!
About: Hello :) I just moved to the area to finish school at Nova southeastern. I grew up with two golden retrievers, a cat, and some fish (both salt and freshwater). I've also been pet sitting, house sitting, and babysitting for about 10 years and love meeting new families. I would love to find a family either to work with long tern, or just for occational vacations or nights out. Feel free to reach out if you think I'd be a good fit for you and your pets. I am currently a full time student and working an internship that has late and/or early hours. I am willing to work with families to find what works best for both of us, and of course I will always give notice in advance if my schedule changed. I am not able to house any pets at my house becuase my roommate does have two cats, however I will make your pets my top priority in engaging with them and keeping them company/

Kasey was absolutely amazing with my cat, Luna. She took such great care of her and kept me updated the whole time, which made me feel so much more at ease. Luna can be a little particular and Kasey handled her with so much patience and attention. I could tell Luna felt comfortable and safe, which is everything to me. I would 100% trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely caring sitter. 5 stars all the way.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Andytown. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
