“Oriana was great with my babies! I've never left them with anyone other than my mom before, so I was a little nervous to make sure everything was done correctly...but Oriana made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She was very professional and can tell she truly loves taking care of dogs so much. She sent me updates and pictures throughout the day and was responsive whenever I checked in with her. Will definitely be booking her again for my next trip!”

“Wow. Carla was wonderful!! She went above and beyond taking care of our cat and other critters. The house and litter box were so clean and everyone was so happy when we came home. It was like we never left! I know our animals got the love and care that we would give them. I got tons of videos and messages which meant a lot bc we were gone for a long period of time. We are so happy to have found such a wonderful person we can trust with our most precious.”

“Mikayla was amazing. She took care of our little guy for a couple days and he loved her!! She was responsive and sent us updates throughout the day. Our flight was delayed and she was available to stay with him an extra night which was lifesaving. We 100% would recommend her.”

About: They call me the animal whisperer because of my natural instinct and draw towards animals and giving to their energy. Grew up with pets since I can remember! I’ve been taking care of others fur babies for over a decade. My schedule normally consists of working full-time 9-5, on occasions I have more flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. Services provided upon request and availability. Normally I do some part-time sitting with several drop-ins, and walks, or each separately at the fur parents home. On the occasion the pet is friendly and is comfortable at my home, they are always welcome here when needed.
“Charlotte was an amazing dog sitter and house sitter for us while we went on vacation. She was timely and communicative, carefully followed our care instructions and gave us daily updates with photos. Our dog was happy and well-cared for while we were away. We can’t wait to have Charlotte back the next time we travel.”

“Bianca was great with our three pups. Our puppies are really scare when we are not with us, but Bianca was really patient and sweet with them. We received daily photos and updates. We will book Bianca services again.”
“Diego is a rockstar!! My two labs immediately warmed up and fell in love with him. He sent consistent updates on how they did on walks/feedings/overnights and was so communicative and friendly. I couldn’t recommend him more as a sitter!!!!!”

About: Animals have been part of my life since I can remember. I grew up spending time on my grandparents’ ranch around all kinds of animals. I have experience riding horses and doing equine therapy. I adopted my first cat at 3, two more feline siblings at 13, and three years ago finally got my golden doodle, Muffin, who I trained myself. My pets are my world — and thanks to my equine therapy background, I’m a strong, calm communicator with animals of any size, big or small I’m 22 and studying Fashion Business, though I’m currently taking time off school to be with family and save up. I also model in NYC, so my schedule can shift week to week — that flexibility actually works well for pet care, since I’m not locked into a rigid 9-to-5 I can provide safety & trust by bringing a live camera with me to clients homes in which they can access to ensure their baby is being cared for and loved as if they were me own. Pictures & videos as well.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats and birds for over 10 years. I am fully committed to providing the best quality care for your pet(s) as of they were my own. Any questions please ask! I work part-time early hours, so most of my days are available. I do work in the kids ministry of my church on the weekend, but I have plenty of breaks in between. I treat your pet as if they were my own. I pay close attention to their routine and schedule and enjoy keeping them active outdoors.

“Shella is wonderful! She took great care of our home and fur babies while we were on vacation! She gave daily updates and plenty of park time for our dog. You can tell she really loves animals. We will definitely book with her again!”

About: I have cared for animals since a very young age as I have always had pets. At this time, I only have a young cat but I have taken care of animals as small as a chihuahua and as big as an American Bulldog. I am very high energy and I love to play but I also like to take the time to teach dogs new tricks. As for cats, I can totally match their vibe and play with them or just lounge with them. I’m a full-time legal assistant at a law firm so I work 9am-5pm from Monday to Friday but I am very high energy and can walk or feed or care for your cuddly critters after work or on weekends! I can crate your furry friend if needed or follow any specific routines you may have. We all have that one silly thing we do at home for our pets and I don’t mind the odd requests if it means ensuring the safety and care of your pet.”
“Laura was amazing! Very professional and warm from the very beginning. Also very attentive and communicative throughout the process So grateful that we get to have her watch her animals. Looking forward to the next sit. 😊”

About: With decades of hands-on pet ownership experience, I provide compassionate and dependable care tailored to your pet's unique needs. Services include drop-in visits, dog walking and overnight stays. I am only working as a pet sitter or walker. So, my time with your pets are my priority. I will not schedule conflicting appointments. At my home, my yard is fenced and we also have an enclosed, gated area on our front porch to add an extra layer of security.
About: I’ve cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, especially senior pups who need extra patience, gentleness, and love. Growing up, I had two senior dogs, a 17 year old Poodle and a 15 year old Shih Tzu, so I’m very familiar with caring for older dogs, understanding their routines, and recognizing when they need a little extra support or comfort. I currently have a one-year-old Shih Tzu who I’ve raised since he was a puppy, so I’m experienced with both young, energetic dogs and calmer, older companions. I truly treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I work full-time but only three days a week, which gives me great flexibility for drop ins, walks, and house sitting. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to follow your dog’s specific routine, whether that means quiet walks, playtime, medication schedules, or just extra cuddles. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority, and I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby 💕 I work three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets while you’re busy or away. My home is calm and pet-friendly, and my dog Momo provides gentle companionship for dogs who enjoy being around other pets and friendly playtime together.
“Rose is a wonderful and trustworthy young lady. She was gentle and sensitive to my Lollipop’s needs and routines. We texted daily and provided pictures of their walks. Our final communication( she left my house before I came home), Rose left me a beautiful note summing up her day with Lolli. Besides all that… she left me with a clean and organized home; I greatly appreciated that! I certainly will be calling on her again!!”

“Tori is a dream sitter for my dog and my cat. While I was out of town for a week, I knew my pets were being cared for, loved and given the utmost attention. From the moment Tori met them, I could tell how much she cares for them, and it was obvious my pets loved her too. During her stay, Tori was communicative, sent lots of pictures and updates, and left them the cutest ‘report card’ on the fridge. A+’s all around for walks, pill taking, brushes and cuddles. ♥️ If I had my way, Tori would be the only person to watch them from here on out. The comfort I felt with her there is priceless.”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Andytown walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Andytown maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Andytown choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Andytown. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
