I prefer going to my clients home and providing pet care services they require. I always ask for a day where I can meet with the owners and ask them to go over the pets routine with me. This allows them to meet me and for their pet to be comfortable when meeting me for the first time.

I would like the owners to address if a dog has special needs, requires extra care and attention, or if they have any medications or injuries I should be aware of. I am very comfortable applying medications and handling injections as well as providing a lot of comfort for a pet.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentally and physically. I love to get input from owners on games and dogs preferences on play time. I enjoy going for runs or long walks for high energy dogs and focus on calmer games for senior dogs and encourage a lot of exercise. I also focus on behavior and reactions and take into account how the dog reacts to different environments. I try to always accommodate where I go on walks based on the dogs needs. After exercise and play time has concluded I like to relax and do a cool down session with the dog so that when I exit the home they are left in a calm state of mind.

Pet care experience
I have been a pet sitter on my own for 6 years now. Family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, play and administer medicine to their beloved companions. I also have pets of my own (Mainecoon cat and leopard gecko) and take their happiness and health to heart. I have worked with a variety of dogs ranging from bully breeds to small pups and I also have a lot of experience with cats. Carla took care of our 3 big dogs and stayed at our house during the week of Christmas. The Great Dane has issues when I leave and does much better when he stays at home. All 3 dogs absolutely loved her and they were very well taken care of. The house was left spotless. She is amazing, will definitely hire her again next time we go away. 10 stars.
