About: I love dogs and I love to enjoy them in the middle of all my activities and make them feel at home. I offer my experience and I provide a safe place and a lot of fun. I always have a lot of ease to make the dogs very comfortable and as if they were at home. They are always very happy to come back and the greet me with a lot emotion which is very comforting for me.i follow the instructions of the owners with reference to medicines ,food, allergies so that the stay does not generate an alteration in their lifestyle. in the entrance of my door I have another gate to prevent it from escaping and in addition to regular walks enjoy the fence patio many times in the day.

About: A calm, loving home where your pet will be treated like family. I’ve had dogs my whole life, and now that I don’t have one of my own, I truly love caring for others as if they were mine. I’m home full-time, so your pet will always have company, attention, and a peaceful environment. I have a fully fenced yard where pets can go outside freely and enjoy fresh air whenever they want. Inside, they are free to relax wherever they feel most comfortable; on the couch, by my side, or wherever they choose. I also provide a continuous fresh water fountain so they always have clean water available. I adapt to each pet’s routine and personality so they feel safe and loved. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just cuddles, I adapt to what they need.

About: I've always been an animal lover growing up and have cared for many friends and familys pets while they were away. I truly believe a dog is man's best friend as I take Jack everywhere with me. I rescued my him from a local shelter after he was found on the side of the road nursing on his dead mother and since he was the run of the liter I had to bottle feed him the first few weeks he was home. I treat all animals as my children so I will take as good as care as I do my own. I mostly have open availability and am super excited to take care of all animals. I hope to hear from you soon! Thank you

About: They call me the animal whisperer because of my natural instinct and draw towards animals and giving to their energy. Grew up with pets since I can remember! I’ve been taking care of others fur babies for over a decade. My schedule normally consists of working full-time 9-5, on occasions I have more flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. Services provided upon request and availability. Normally I do some part-time sitting with several drop-ins, and walks, or each separately at the fur parents home. On the occasion the pet is friendly and is comfortable at my home, they are always welcome here when needed.

About: As someone who has traveled for work, I understand the importance of quality care while you’re away from home. I’ve cared for animals most of my life. While in undergraduate school, I worked at a veterinary clinic and boarding facility. I have cared for a variety of animals: dogs (including terminally ill dogs), cats (don't mind a litter box), guinea pigs, turtles, horses, and hamsters. I have trained my own puppies. I am currently an independent contractor that works a great deal from home and has a flexible schedule allowing for availability across the day to care for pets. I am compassionate and understanding of client needs as they pertain to their pets. I am reliable and punctual. I understand the importance of pet safety as well as privacy for clients.

About: Hello everyone, my name is Andrea, I have one dog Lola who's 7 turning 8.this year, she's a mix and is about 52-55 lbs.i work from home for over 4 years now, for a staffing company. So I get a lot of free time on my hands, I always love taking Lola to the nearby park and exercising with her, I'm big on walks I know how to give dogs medication, and patient with old dogs as well. My brothers and I have grown up with all different sized dogs, and all sorts of other animals. I truly love animals and will take care of your baby as if they were my own. Cant wait to meet all your fur babies. I currently work from home 100% for about 4 years now so I don't see anything changing. I can take them out every 2 - 3 hours. The whole apartment is safe for dogs as someone who has a dog since she was a puppy has loved to chew on stuff, things are never just lying around.

About: Life without dogs is like life without lungs for me. I have had dogs and many other little critters my entire life. Im the one in the corner of a party playing with the dog, for real :)! My family and I recently lost our 14 year old buddy Moby so we currently do not have a dog in our home. We all absolutely love dogs and would love the opportunity to love on yours! I am available for walks and for stays in my home. Currently I can only accept dogs under 30 lbs for overnight boarding in my home but have no weight limit for walking and check-ins. I am currently working from home so I have alot of time and flexibility. I am available for one on one time all day but will have my kids with me after 3 pm. They are accustomed to dogs and very comfortable with friendly and safe pups. Ages (almost) 10 and 7. I can take dogs overnight that are accustomed to being around children and would enjoy taking walks and snuggling on our couches! We live in a town home and have a small fenced in front porch so your pooch can lounge outside if that is what they prefer. We also have trails all over our neighborhood so we walk alot. Our family has a garden at the end of the walk so your dog will get to smell all the smells and have adventures. Your dog can sleep upstairs with us in our room or in our bed if that's what they prefer! When your dog is in our home he/she will be treated as our own family member.

About: Growing up a Girl Scout I've had countless projects with Humane Societies and rescues that sparked my love for animals and being a part of a community. Since everyone in my family is allergic to cats and dogs (except for me!) we opted for 2 bunnies and guinea pig... As much as I love my pets, I see pet care as a privilege as I adore caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds since I can't have any of my own for the time being. I am currently on Rover full time whilst I search for a job within my field so I should be available to you and your furry friends whenever you need! Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When I’m caring for your pet in your home, I make sure they have a calm, secure, and clean space to feel at ease. I take time to understand their routine—feeding schedule, favorite spots, and any quirks or boundaries—to help them feel safe and stress-free. In your home, I always respect your space and follow your instructions closely. I double-check doors and windows, ensure litter boxes are clean, and maintain a tidy environment. I also provide updates and photos during each visit so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is to create a peaceful, trusting environment where your pet feels loved and cared for while you’re away.

Emma is 75 pounds and strong which is no problem for John. We’re happy to have him look after our baby.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
