About: Hello! I’m Marcella A and I’m currently going to cnm, majoring in veterinary medicine. My passion is to be a voice to those who can’t speak for themselves. This volunteer work at my job shadow (on resume) has given me hands-on experience handling different animal breeds and understanding the deep emotional bond between pets and their owners. I observed a cat surgery, the importance of aftercare and recovery. I’ve studied a Certified Veterinary Technologies performing a venipuncture safely. Growing up I had a lot of animals ranging from snakes, gerbils, hamsters, birds to cats and dogs. In a sense it taught me a lot of responsibility at a young age. I’ve had years of experience understanding the right diet/nutrition, structured hygienic health, behavioral patterns/management and medication needed for fuzzy friends! Currently I have OPEN availability! No furry companion is too big or too small to provide dietary/nutritional feeding times, potty breaks, midday check-ins, local dog walks, structured hygiene, health tracking & emergency preparedness! I am confident in my ability to provide exceptional care to beloved fuzzy friends from the moment they walk through the doors! I provide services to lovely pet owners to support in detailed instructions/expectations that I compile to! About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. About: I've been petsitting since 2012, including dogs, cats, exotic birds, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am experienced with special needs animals, elderlies, and those recovering from surgery. I've completed over 100 volunteer hours walking shelter dogs. I am comfortable working with some behavioral challenges. Helping out with pets is my favorite thing to do! Outside the home or your fenced yard, dogs will be on-leash and distanced from other animals and people. I do not mix animals from different homes.

About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. About: Personally trained and cared for 30+ dogs. Proud owner of a German Shepherd named Blitzen and I've cared for multiple pets at the same time over the years. I firmly believe exercise is necessary for happy owners and pets alike. Leadership never turns off. I live off a simple and disciplined schedule. I'm almost always up before 05:00 with the exception of weekends and the first things I do as part of my morning routine is let the dogs out, meditate, and then take my dog Blitzen for a run. I have a large backyard that is enclosed by walls. Every pup I house I exercise, as it's important for their mental health (and mine), and it helps them acclimate to a new environment. I've trained multiple dogs and I'm adapted to recognizing and preventing unwanted fights and scenarios of that nature. I care for all pets in the same manner and typically follow leadership strategies recommended by Cesar Milan & Don Sullivan such as implementing rules, boundaries, and limitations as well as showing affection at the appropriate time so as not to encourage nervous and aggressive energy. Dogs have been a large part of my well-being and happiness and I understand that they have specific needs as well. Leadership to me entails leading my own life and practicing personal integrity. Every pup I've met or trained offers new opportunities for patience and learning and I'm happy to accept that challenge.
