About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been managing 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, and their body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies, kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. Please note that my rates are a starting rate, and if you are more than 6 miles from me, I may charge a travel fee to compensate for gas and wear on my vehicle. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I accept the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!

About: Since I started providing pet care through Rover, I have gained experience caring for older dogs, puppies, dogs with special hearing needs, and dogs and cats with strict allergies or dietary restrictions. I have grown up taking care of my family's dogs and cats and am experienced with large, medium, and small dogs, old and young dogs and cats, and pets with a variety of backgrounds and stories. I've been dog-walking and pet-sitting for neighbors and family friends intermittently since I was 11. I have also helped friends pet-sit on Rover before and I love getting to know new dogs and cats because each pet is so unique. I work Monday-Thursday from 8am-4:30pm, which is why I list myself as fully available Thursday evenings-Sundays. I am passionate about spending time with and caring for animals, but my current home does not allow pets. Walking and being active outside is very important to my daily routine already and I'd love to help make walking and being outside part of your pet's routine as well! Having grown up with a range of dog personalities, I understand that unpredictable scenarios and reactions can happen and that it's important to be very alert and focused when taking care of pets - especially when they are around new people.

I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member, and I’m committed to giving them the same care and attention I gave my own. About: I’ve taken care of house pets of all ages and helped with keeping them happy, healthy, active, and loved. I love ensuring you pet feels as much love as possible and making sure that they are as happy as can be! I am available for care on a flexible schedule, going above and beyond to care for your pets! I can work weekdays and weekends, whatever is needed for your pet. I have a fenced in yard, with a 6ft fence all around, but I’m sure your pup would love to play in. I also have toys, a dirt pit, and take them on regular walks as needed.

About: I have officially being taking care of animals here in rover for about 2 years now. It’s definitely a passion of mine to properly take care of other animals and watch over them! Of course I have experience taking care of animals beyond my 2 years here on rover such as taking care of family members pet and also my own pets for my whole life! I’ve naturally grown the knowledge over the years how to properly care for small and large dogs and of course, cats! (I also take pride in taking care of any fish, reptiles, or chickens!) I work a temporary traveling job, which means whatever my available states I’ll be home full time to provide your animals with 24/7 care and supervision! I have experience with scheduled feedings twice a day for dogs, daily feeding for cats, giving fresh water everyday, switching dogs and letting them outside throughout the entire day. I have experience with kennels and lots of experience with dogs that have to stay separated from one another due to dog fights. I also have experience dog walking, playing and being able to identify changes in their well-being and behavior. I also have a good eye in knowing if a dog is friendly or not with others so you can trust me with your pet being around others! I perform all these duties everyday with all animals I take care of like their my own because I wouldn’t want their care to be in the wrong hands!

About: I currently work as an animal protection officer for the City of Albuquerque animal welfare department. I'm can handle energetic pets with high physical activity needs. I have 2+years experience as a shelter volunteer and 1 year experience as doggy daycare attendant. I have worked with dogs and cats various breeds, ages, temperaments and sizes. I've handled various behavioral problems, health problems, and even special needs (visual impairment, hearing impartment, trauma, missing or damaged limbs.) I can do minor medical work, bottle feed, and have experience with cats and dogs from early puppyhood to end of life. I will use my knowledge, skill, and experience to ensure the best quality care for your pet. I currently have two dogs that I care for every day. I moved here recently so I'm in the process of becoming a volunteer at a shelter here. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs. My dogs are walked often and the first thing I do in the morning in give them attention. I've done some basic obedience training with them and have had them for several years.
