About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. I also love taking pets on little adventures, like trips to nearby parks, to keep them engaged and happy. About: I started volunteering at vet clinics in 2006. I've been petsitting since 2012, including dogs, cats, exotic birds, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am experienced with special needs animals, elderlies, and those recovering from surgery. I've completed over 100 volunteer hours walking rescue dogs at Animal Humane New Mexico (AHNM). I am comfortable working with some behavioral challenges. Completed training: 2026 Fear Free Shelters program “Play Groups, Meet-and-Greets, and Dog Fight Response Training.” AHNM 2025 “Advanced Dog Walker Training" AHNM “Calming Canines Training" AHNM 2024 “Safe Dog Walker Training" AHNM I've also been volunteering at spay/neuter events since 2016. Some of my photos are from those. Please note that I am not representing any organization. I work from home and I make my own schedule. I wake up before 6 am so I am available early. Helping out with pets is my favorite thing to do! Outside the home or your fenced yard, dogs will be on-leash and distanced from other animals and people. I do not mix animals from different homes.

About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. I work full time, but am available outside of standard working hours to spend plenty of time with your pups! I have pets of my own so I know how important it is to spend time with them & make sure they are happy while you are away. When caring for pets, I always make sure to guarantee they have a comfortable and clean environment as well as plenty of play time (for their benefit & because I just love dogs!)

About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, and more since I was born making this nothing new. I have pet sit before, but if I can handle being a nurse aid this is nothing. I am currently applying for other jobs however as of right now I am pretty much fully open. I have Monday Bible study and Monday morning church and youth volunteering. I am more than willing to come in early and late for your animals. I can walk dogs big and small and used to walk dogs that weighed around 45 pounds. I can also put animals in their crates if needed as well.

About: I’ve been a pet owner all my life, not only have I cared/owned dogs, but cats and reptiles too! I love all animals and have cared for special needs and elderly dogs. I am currently working part time in the Army and I’m a full time college student. The flexibility with my schedule leaves me with a lot of availability for your fur babies! I specialize in house sittings so that your pup is still comfortable and in a familiar environment. I have no problem tending to your pups day to day schedule and needs. This of course includes, walks, specific dinner times, and whatever other needs your dog may have. I only take one sitting at a time to ensure your pups receive my undivided attention and pristine service!

About: Personally trained and cared for 30+ dogs. Proud owner of a German Shepherd named Blitzen and I've cared for multiple pets at the same time over the years. I firmly believe exercise is necessary for happy owners and pets alike. Leadership never turns off. I live off a simple and disciplined schedule. I'm almost always up before 05:00 with the exception of weekends and the first things I do as part of my morning routine is let the dogs out, meditate, and then take my dog Blitzen for a run. I have a large backyard that is enclosed by walls. Every pup I house I exercise, as it's important for their mental health (and mine), and it helps them acclimate to a new environment. I've trained multiple dogs and I'm adapted to recognizing and preventing unwanted fights and scenarios of that nature. I care for all pets in the same manner and typically follow leadership strategies recommended by Cesar Milan & Don Sullivan such as implementing rules, boundaries, and limitations as well as showing affection at the appropriate time so as not to encourage nervous and aggressive energy. Dogs have been a large part of my well-being and happiness and I understand that they have specific needs as well. Leadership to me entails leading my own life and practicing personal integrity. Every pup I've met or trained offers new opportunities for patience and learning and I'm happy to accept that challenge.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, pet sitting was actually my very first job, and it quickly became something I genuinely loved doing. Caring for animals has never felt like work to me—it's something I've always been naturally drawn to. During college, when I wasn't able to have a dog of my own, I volunteered with local foster organizations so I could continue spending time with and caring for dogs. That experience strengthened my understanding of different personalities, energy levels, and the patience each animal needs to feel comfortable and safe. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I currently work part time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals! Weekends as needed as well so you can travel confidently knowing your furry friends are in good hands. I carefully follow routines, secure doors and leashes, provide lots of attention, and send regular updates so owners have peace of mind. I live in a home and have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for them to run around.

About: Hi, I’m Avery (Julie)! At the moment I do not have any pets of my own…yet keep dog treats in my mailbox for passers by. I have had dogs and cats in my life since I can remember. I have had 5 dogs at a time, and know how to lead, and listen. Highly intuitive and super happy person who genuinely cares about connection with animals. I am a communicative person and can definitely assist in helping with your pets - keeping you informed of their well being. Currently I am available on week nights after 4pm, and weekends, yet I retire very soon so will have time to attend during the week days. My home is very comfortable and there is enough space for pets to have room to explore. I have a fenced front and back yard. I also have a cooled sunroom that will also be available for summer or windy days.
