Marilee is the best! Great communication but also she doesn't just walk him. She CARES for him, always make sure he has what he needs- including bonus cuddles!
Marilee was great, super flexible as my travel and coverage plans fluctuated. Sent happy pictures which are always nice. Looking forward to using Marilee again!
I’ve given 3 stars as Most visits were completed as instructed with zero issues. One visit was cut short and sitter was very combative when a PARTIAL refund for the 1 unfinished visit was requested. Communication was not professional. This interaction is what resulted in a less than satisfactory experience. Would have been ok to request Marilee as a sitter again but the lack of professionalism in communication regarding the time a full hour visit was completed was not acceptable nor expected when I originally reached out regarding this visit. The sitter felt entitled to full payment on the full hour visit though they were not there for even half an hour. While I understand it isn’t much money, it was the principle of the fact that work was being charged but not completed. I paid nearly $300 for six 1 hour visits. To expect each visit to be completed felt like a very normal expectation after spending hundreds of dollars for very little time.
Marilee did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Zori. She followed our care instructions perfectly and was extremely reliable and communicative. We loved that she took extra time to make Zori feel safe and comfortable by sitting with him, giving him treats, and playing with him in the yard. During every walk, Marilee sent a detailed update with pictures, which gave us complete peace of mind. We would highly recommend Marilee to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Schedule
I am a remote graphic designer and do landscaping. My schedule is very flexible and enjoy taking dogs for walks and sitting/playing with cats. I use Rover when I travel and know what it's like to be away from your pets.
