“Janet was once again great with Kiwi (second time we hired her). Kiwi had been spayed a week and a half earlier, so she had to wear a “donut” around her neck to keep from licking her stitches and wasn’t able to go on a walk or run around. Janet did a great job of playing calm and engaging games with her and keeping her happy. We loved getting pictures and a summary of their time together. We highly recommend Janet!”

“Madeline took great care of my cat while I was on vacation. She lots of pictures which was great too. I will definitely use Madeline again for my next vacation. Highly recommend”

“Iwonka was fabulous! She played with our labradors and took wonderful care of them. I would definitely recommend Iwonka and when we need a pet sitter we will reach out to her again.”

“Jaime was fantastic. I always feel a little uneasy giving our house keys and garage/alarm codes to others but I didn't worry about it this time. She inspires trust and I felt that right away when we first met her. And believe all the reviews - Jaime does take amazing photos. She was able to take some great shots of our kitties! It was very comforting and reassuring to see all the photos while we were away. We will definitely be working with Jamie again.”

“Laura made the whole process seamless! She’s very easy to talk and work with. So happy I found her! And I love all the pictures of my pup that she sent me. I will definitely be using her again!”

About: I'm a dog lover dedicated to providing top-notch care and fun-filled adventures for furry friends. I'm experienced with all kinds of dogs and cats. I am ready to feed them and give them lots of love and care. I've been working at a dog daycare, so I have hands-on experience caring for pups in a group setting, as well as one on one. I'm excited to meet new furry friends. I'm available every morning and evening for walks and visits. I'm available all day on weekends. I would love to hang out with furry friends. I keep everything clean. I always replace water bowls with fresh water and feed any pets. I love to take dogs on walks or cuddle and play with them. I treat all pets as my own.

“Jessica was amazing! She had to deal with an our dog who was a bit nervous with a nervous stomach. She dealt with a couple of accident clean ups and didn’t complain a bit! We were away for 5 days for our daughter’s wedding and felt so at ease that our puppy was well taken care of! Will definitely be using Jessica again!!”

About: I am a big dog lover. I couldn’t have dogs for most of my life due to my dad’s allergies. I coped with that by dogsitting until I moved out and was able to have a dog of my own. I recently rescued a senior dog with a lot of anxiety so I have experience working with nervous dogs. I would love to take care of your dog and treat them like my own. I am currently available any time during the week to let your dog out or take them for a walk. I am home during the day with my dog so I have lots of flexibility. A big part of dog care is adapting to the dog. I know each dog is different with their own set of needs. My goals is to adjust to each dog I work with to make them feel safe and loved.

About: It all started when I was 5 and my sister and I convinced our animal loving parents to add to our family, we got a golden retriever puppy and a kitten in the same year. I have never lived a day without a pet in 35 years! I have open availability. I have 2 smaller dogs and a parrot. I live in a nice, quiet neighborhood perfect for walking furry friends. Ricky and Lucy (cavapoos) love a good slumber party :) I do not have a fenced in yard. My pups know the perimeters. I do take leashed potty breaks and walks with pup visitors. I am familiar with "runners" and an capable of making sure that doesn't happen!

“Natalie was great. She truly loves dogs and we are so grateful she was there to take care of Buddy when we were on vacation. Thank you Natalie! Buddy is doing well because of you.”

About: Available for daytime and overnight care, as well as dog walking or visits when you're away. Cat care included for home visits. I'm a fur-mom of 2 very friendly, socialized Siberian Huskies. I grew up with dogs, and have experience with small & large breed dogs. I'm very compassionate with animals and their needs, plus love petting and cuddling. Knowing your fur-baby will miss you, my goal is to give them a caring and safe environment where they can play and socialize until your return. My older children love animals as well, and help me with my two, they will help me play and ensure your fur-baby feels at home. What's most important to me: a) dogs are treated as PART of the family b) they have caregivers who understand and meet their needs (socializing, getting a break from other dogs, exercise, etc) I would like to understand any needs or requests for your pup to ensure he/she is as comfortable as possible, especially if your pup has a little bit of separation anxiety. I cater to those pups, and we are HUGE Cesar Milan fans! So being sensitive to these pups is very important. My home has a large secured fenced in yard for pups to run free in, along with a great neighborhood for walks. I live minutes away from Switzer Woods dog park in West Dundee, which we are frequents at. I have an SUV to transport pups if you'd like to add a trip to the dog park to your stay. In addition to the secure large back yard, I have 2 tie ups in our front yard my two love sitting and enjoying the weather and watch everyone walk by :) (chain link and extremely secure) Since the backyard is privacy fence they enjoy seeing everyone and a chance of scenery. The interior of my home is dog-friendly as well. Any areas in my home off limits to dogs will have doors closed or gates to block. I do have a cat, so for example dogs in my home are not allowed upstairs (the cat's safe zone) so that has a gate so no dogs on stairs. Laundry room, office where electric cords, basement doors will be shut. Also I like dogs to be in sight while in the home, so any areas I can't see them I tend to shut doors. L Open floor plan, so every other room (about 4 rooms of space) is fair game! Free to roam, play, and on nice days go in and out to the back yard as they please. My dogs don't go on all furniture, but they do have their own ottoman and furniture that is all theirs :) I have dog beds around the main level for their sleeping pleasures. Your pup will be part of the family while in our care. Looking forward to building a friendship with your pup, so they come back to play with us again!

“Cheyenne is the sweetest! She was so punctual and made sure to follow all my instructions I left behind. Thank you for watching loki so last minute and on a holiday! We appreciate you for giving him all the love and cuddles!”

About: I fostered for two years multiple puppies. I taught them tricks and learned how to bathe dogs properly. I’m very patient and love taking multiple walks with my dog everyday! I have a very flexible schedule that I can accommodate to your needs! I am available for boarding on the weekend. And pet sitting on holidays. I have a friendly dog to keep your dog company. In the area that I live we have several dog friendly walking paths. I have a huge backyard as well.

About: I am a reliable, caring and friendly sitter with over 10 years of pet sitting. From friends, family, neighbors, referrals and through pet sitting services I have done it all. I work hybrid so I am available some week days, but am always able to do 3 visits / walks a day. I have experience with all dog breeds and sizes. I work full time but I work hybrid so I am available throughout the day on certain days and always available on weekends, after work or mornings. I always treat others homes and pets as I would want mine treated. I am respectful, caring, and thoughtful. With several years of pet and house sitting I am very reliable.

“This was my first time using Rover, but it was so great to know my dogs were being well taken care of while I was gone! Marie was responsive, conscientious, and helpful. I came home to two happy pups! I will definitely reach out to Marie next time I need someone to take care of my dogs.”

About: Hello! I am a very active individual who loves to engage and play with pets. I consider myself an avid runner, and have never shied away from taking pets with me. I am very used to walking and caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. For daycare, I work from home full time and have a large fenced in yard that all dogs love! I currently have two pets, a 1 year old pup named Vasher and a orange tabby cat named Locke. Vasher is a golden retriever / German shepherd mix who is the best boy. He already weighs over 70 lb! He loves to play, run around, and talk to us with his buttons. He is extremely friendly and loves to make new friends, both human and dog alike. Locke will make friends with any person he meets. I also helped raised my parents dog Leine, who is a 90lb tree walker cooonhound. She is the sweetest pup at 10 years old. I have watched and cared for dogs of all sizes and energy levels, but you can probably tell I have a special place for large playful dogs. If you're looking for somewhere to drop off your dog for the day where they will have a huge yard and a playmate, I'm your guy. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions! I currently work remotely! My schedule is entirely flexible, so I will be able to take care of your pet at any time of the day. If you have a set schedule for walking/feeding/playing, I'll be able to stick to it without any issues. I will care for your pet by paying attention to their needs, whether it be playing, cuddling, or feeding. I will keep them as active as possible, and would be happy to run them around the yard or neighborhood. I am very willing to follow whatever instructions you have for your pet.
