About: I’ve taken care of and have been around dogs since I was a child. I have experience with my I own dogs (Australian Shepherd, cattle dog) and volunteering at an animal shelter. I’ve worked with a variety of dog breeds. I love animals and would love to care for your pet! I am available weekday evenings after 530pm. I’m also available on weekends during the morning, afternoon, or evening. I would love to help care for your pet! I’m a kind, gentle person who loves animals and can safely work with your pet. I take into consideration how your pet is feeling and am aware of their body language. I will feed, walk, play with and maybe teach a trick or 2 :)

“Katherine was great! She was always quick to respond and did a great job taking care of my anti-social cats who normally don’t like people. My house was clean and my cats were happy when I came back from my trip. Definitely recommend!”

About: I have been a fur mama for 13 years, but have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I love BOTH cats and dogs! I have two of each—along with a turtle, so I am not afraid of caring for aquatic animals. I have experience administering medication both orally and subdermally. So I am not afraid to do either. I would love to help take care of your baby in any way! I currently work Monday-Thursday. I am available all day Fridays and Sundays. And full days every other Saturday, because I work a half day every other. Can make some weeknights work, depending on the situation. I have a fully fenced in yard, so no need to worry about keeping your babies safe. Backyard comes with two super friendly dogs who love playtime with friends!

“Mary was awesome. I was very comfortable having her take care of our dog. That day had some inclement weather and she checked in to see how Kane does in the rain. He was a very happy boy when we got home, we will definitely use Mary again!”

“Chloe did great with Buffy and Buddy! She took mamy cute pictures of the pups during her visit to share and was very easy to work with! We would definitely recommend Chloe and have her sit our pups again! Thanks Chloe!”

I work part-time and the days I work are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and everyday except Wednesday I work for only 3 hours so I would have plenty of time in the day to take care of your pets! I can not have pets in my home, but the pets I will take care of at your residence will be taken care to the best of my ability and I will meet all your requirements of care.

About: I am experienced in administering medicinal injections, nail trimming and teeth brushing of larger breeds, lifting 60+ lbs, pad and potty training, and assisting senior and special needs dogs. I currently work remote and spend most of the day with my own pup by my side. We go to the nearby dog park at least weekly, go on two 20-25 minute walks (1mi+) daily, and play regularly throughout the day. He is very friendly and happy to tag along for any walks or play times, if the company is welcomed. I have a large crate available, if needed, and an in ground stake in the front and back yard with 30ft leads attached, allowing for plenty of time outside in shaded and unshaded areas. Food bowls are cleaned after every meal and pet waste is cleaned up after every trip outside.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my extensive pet care experience, which includes training puppies, providing specialized senior pet care, and a genuine love for animals. I’ve volunteered at the shelter, where I gained invaluable experience fostering dogs in need, including the special bond I formed with my best friend, a rescue dog. I understand each pet's unique needs, whether it’s active playtime for young pups or gentle support for seniors. My commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment ensures every dog feels at home with me. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I work a flexible remote job. This allows me to dedicate ample time to walk, play, and care for your dog throughout the day. I can easily adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. Whether it’s regular feeding times, play sessions, or cuddles, your furry friend will always be my priority. In my home, I create a safe and welcoming environment for pets by ensuring all hazardous items are out of reach, providing cozy resting areas, and maintaining a clean space. I have secure play areas where dogs can enjoy themselves without risk. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect their space by following established routines and guidelines. I prioritize safety by keeping doors and gates secure and monitoring pets during playtime. Trust is built through consistent communication, regular updates, and attention to each pet's individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away.

About: Hello! I’m Shelby and I grew up in Crystal Lake. My husband and I run our dog boarding and house sitting business together. We are bilingual, Spanish and English. Shelby As a child my dream job response was veterinarian (although I now work as a teacher). I’m 100% a dog person and love all animals. Being with dogs renews my energy so that I am my best for my students. I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking for clients since 2017. Prior to that, I had taken care of family friends’ dogs- pugs, golden retrievers, labs, poodles and more. Jose My wife says all dogs love me and that I am a dog whisperer. I don’t know if that’s true, but I sure do love spending time with dogs. I’m always happy when I’ve got a dog by my side. I’m also available for odd jobs and anything IT related. I have my BS in computer science. We can do drop in visits, walks, overnights and boarding. We are also offering doggie daycare out of our home, see below for more info. We look forward to meeting you and your dog! When we board, we are able to offer potty breaks about every four hours during the work week. During holidays, weekends and summers we are home more frequently. We can be more flexible with potty/walk breaks as needed. We prioritize the well-being and comfort of your dog. It’s our goal to understand your dog’s routines so we can do our best to continue those during their stay with us. 🐶 🦴 Doggie daycare 🦴 🐶 We charge $10 an hour, maxing at $40 for a day (maximum daycare stay is 9 hours). We also work out month passes at a lower rate based on your needs. Message us to discuss further. Doggie daycare does not include an overnight. 💵 ⭐️ —————- ⭐️ 💵 Referral program We currently have a give $20, get $20 for referring a friend. When your friend successfully completes their first booking, you will get $20 off a future booking. Your friend gets $20 off their first booking with us as well. 💵 ⭐️ —————- ⭐️ 💵

“Maddie was great with communicating throughout the entire process and was super helpful while I booked my first Rover visit. I would high recommend her to anyone!”

“We highly recomment Shelly! We were away for 7 days and were a bit nervous leaving Charlie as he has anxiety when we leave him for more than 24 hours. It was very reassuring getting updates on a daily basis and we all loved seeing the pictures of our 2 pups that Shelly took! We came home to 2 very happy and healthy dogs! She is professional and you can tell that she loves what she does. I will definitely hire Shelly again! Thanks Shelly!!”

Wyatt V.
“Wyatt is beloved by our pups. When I tell the pups that Wyatt is coming over, they know who he is and they get so thrilled and run around wagging and yapping in the best possible way. Wyatt has been walking, playing with and feeding our pups for the past few years. He first started taking care of our pups when we had an elderly Terrier, Poppy (18 pounds), an adult Schnoodle, Lita (11 pounds), and eventually a cockapoo pup (now 2), Cooper (30 pounds). Wyatt was so good to Poppy who was blind and suffering from dementia. Poppy was always so thrilled to get attention from Wyatt. Wyatt was so compassionate towards Poppy. The sympathy from Wyatt when Poppy passed was sincere and heartfelt. Lita loves going on walks with Wyatt and though she is small, she is exuberant to go on walks with him. Lita also plays with Cooper when Wyatt comes over to play ball with them in the backyard. Cooper is probably the biggest fan of Wyatt. Wyatt is so good with Cooper who is a bit skittish and always wags his tail as he barks at Wyatt. Wyatt is always gentle with Cooper and lets Cooper smell and bark and be a weirdo until Cooper sits to get his leash on. Cooper also loves playing in the backyard with Wyatt. It's so important that the pups get good exercise and Wyatt always delivers on whatever they need. I am so glad to have Wyatt help walk and play with the dogs. Any pets would be fortunate to have Wyatt care for them.”

Lakewood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Iwonka was fantastic, and our 3 cats loved her! They can be skiddish at first but they seemed to take right to her - she was communicative, took awesome pics, and took the time to actually play with them which made us feel at ease while we were away.

We are all so grateful for Maria! Always so reliable, caring, knowledgeable, observant and resourceful. We have two cats, one with special needs and they always receive the best care and attention. The excellent and cute photos are a great bonus . Thank you again!
My husband and I were away on an 8-day trip, and we couldn’t have felt more at ease knowing Chloe was caring for our two dogs. From the very beginning, she was attentive, reliable, and incredibly communicative—keeping us updated during each visit with helpful notes and pictures that gave us so much peace of mind. She adapted seamlessly to our dogs’ routines and was especially patient with our pup, who struggles with anxiety and takes time to warm up to new people. Chloe respected his space, moved at his pace, and helped him feel as safe and comfortable as possible. We’re so grateful for the care and compassion she showed our dogs. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and attentive to care for your pets, I can’t recommend Chloe enough!
I have used Natalie’s service a couple times now and am very satisfied and my pups also enjoy being around her. If you need help with your pets, Natalie is a great one to call on. You can tell she cares about what she does.

Lauren has been dependable and taken great care of my animals. She keeps me up-to-date on their well-being. I plan to continue using her services!

Elizabeth was wonderful! This was our first time using Rover and Elizabeth made the process so smooth and put our minds at ease! Will definitely be rebooking!
