We went away for an extended period of time and were adamant about finding the perfect dog sitter for our girl Lucy, and that’s exactly what we found. From the moment they took her in, they made Lucy part of their family. Not to mention, she found a new best friend in their German Shepherd, Sadie. Every single day, I received photos and videos of them playing nonstop. It was incredibly heartwarming, and I couldn’t have been happier knowing Lucy was in such loving and capable hands. June and Wade did a very good job taking care of Teddy during the 10 days I was out of town. They were immediately open to a meet and greet before booking. That put my mind at ease. Teddy is a rescue with anxiety and gets startled easily. I loved the daily pictures they sent. They brought me so much joy. He went for walks and they manged his anxiety with patience and love.
We couldn’t be happier about the care our greyhound Steely Dan received from Derek and his family while we were on a 3-week vacation. During the time we were away we regularly received updates and photos that assured us Steely was being made to feel at home. Derek has a large dog, Ellie, who is quite friendly, and there were no issues with Steely and Ellie spending time together. Steely is sensitive to thunderstorms, and the meds we provided were administered appropriately with no issues. Finally, when we picked Steely up, he seemed relaxed and content. We always felt confident he was in exceedingly capable hands.
Dorothy was wonderful to work with. The communication was great and I was very comfortable leaving my dog in her care, I highly recommend her! I've had other sitters and it was normal for my dog to be stressed out and not eat food for a day or two. Much to my surprise, my dog ate normally right from the start which is a huge testament to how well Dorothy nurtured her and helped her relax.
Tyler did a great job taking care of my two dogs. He played with them every day and made sure they got plenty of enrichment, and made sure to send a lot of pictures and useful updates. He was also very flexible and kind when a flight delay caused us to need to push the pick up time a lot later. I highly recommend Tyler and only have good things to say about him as a dog sitter. We would happily work with him again in the future!
