“Wonderful Senior Dog Sitting Experience with Beth. We recently hired Beth to dog-sit our two senior dogs. We were truly grateful for her outstanding care. From the moment we initially reached out to her, Beth was kind, attentive, and displayed a genuine love for animals that immediately put us at ease.
 Given their advanced age, they require very specific care, taking meds, no jumping or stairs, old and set in their ways. Florida pups who hate cold, not wanting to go outside. She followed all of our instructions diligently, ensuring that our dogs' routines and schedules were maintained. Not only did she provide regular updates and photos of our little bears, but she also went above and beyond to engage them and make it a fun experience for them. Upon our return, Char & Hen were visibly happy and content, they wandered happily around her beautiful home as if it was theirs, while we gathered their things, not anxious to leave. Which is a testament to the wonderful care they received from Beth. Beth's kind and nurturing approach to dog sitting truly sets her apart. She not only attended to the basic needs of our dogs and their quirks but also showered them with love and attention, making them feel comfortable and secure in her care. He was able to accommodate my daytime doggy daycare request His neighborhood is great and they even have a small dog area that’s fenced in for some off leash time. Basically, the best experience you could ask for when handing off your fur baby.”

Naturally, I had some apprehension about her hanging out with Angela’s bigger and older dogs but it worked out perfectly and Boots had a fun weekend with her new friends. One of my first jobs was as a Veterinary Assistant. Since that time I've worked at various animal hospitals, kennels, grooming salons & dog walking/pet sitting companies. Over the past the 40 years, I've worked in nearly every aspect of the pet care field. In 1994 I started my own pet care service in Chicago, offering petsitting/feedings/dog walking for clients who were stuck at work or going on vacation. After relocating in 2008, I began offering my services in the northwestern suburban area & added in-home basic grooming such as nail trims, ear cleaning, etc. Available by appt. Days, evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, etc. I currently work part-time at a grooming salon & have open availability (but please still try to book in advance!) Various online payments accepted including Zelle & Cash App as well as cash & personal checks. Feel free to be as specific & detailed as you'd like when it comes to how you prefer your pet is cared for! About: I am the definition of an animal lover, which I attribute to having had animals around my entire life. I grew up with Australian shepherds, German shepherds, cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! I am extremely comfortable walking dogs, giving them medication via food, and managing when to let them out to go to the bathroom. I’m also willing to give a big furry dog a good brush if they need it! I have lived primarily with big dogs, but have had close relationships with small dogs through friends and my husband’s family whom I have dog sat for in the past. In addition, I am a massive cat lover. I was given a kitten when I was 8 years old and had her for 19 years until she just recently passed. In her senior years, she had both hypothyroidism and asthma so I am well-versed in giving cats inhalers and medication in various forms (via dropper, ear application, in treats, and in food). I am a dependable dog and cat sitter/caretaker because I know how much your animal means to you. I’m an extremely organized person so you can count on me to be reliable with pick-up, drop-off, and everything in between. Taking care of your animal would not be a job to me because I am so happy to do it! I work all day Tuesday and Thursday and the occasional Monday, Wednesday or Friday depending on when I am scheduled (only 4 hours shifts on those days) so I could watch an animal full time during three weekdays in addition to weekends. I am still more than willing to watch an animal for an entire week and either modify my work schedule to be with them more, or just make sure they are set up for the days I am in office. I have a non-smoking home with one cat and two people including myself. My home would be an extremely relaxing environment for a pet and due to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate nearly full-time care to an animal. Since I have a cat, I would only really be able to have dogs stay overnight for a couple-day stint since I'd prefer to keep them separate. In my client's home I would offer the same care in addition to respecting the environment. I'm naturally a very clean person and always pick up after myself.
