About: I grew up on a farm, and ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved animals. I’m a grandma with plenty of free time, and I would love to welcome your dog into our family while you are away. Since my grandchildren visit, please let me know if your dog does not get along with kids. Currently, I have a Frenchie and a mini Schnauzer who is paralyzed. They love other dogs, but I do have baby gates to keep them separate if needed. Owning a paralyzed dog has taught me a lot over the past couple of years. If your pet requires any special care, i am more than happy to accommodate their needs. I am never gone for longer than couple hours at a time. I have a very open schedule so your pet with get lots of attention. I will welcome your pet into our family and treat them as if they were our own. Please share your dog’s daily routine, and I will follow it to ensure they feel at home. I understand how stressful it can be when an owner is away, so I’ll make sure to give your dog extra attention, exercise, and love to ease their anxiety and make their stay as enjoyable as possible. I have baby gates and can provide your dog with space away from kids and my dogs if needed. I will take your dog on walks and provide off-leash time in our backyard as well. About: I've been around animals my whole life. I've dealt with big and small dogs like Silky Terriors to German Shepherds! I have a Chweenie of my own that loves to meet new people but also very shy! I usually take care of two big shepherds that love to pull me around all day! I usually start my morning off taking care of my dog and taking her for walks. By around 3pm I'm headed off for the rest of the night for work. I try to spend as much time as I can with taking care and making her happy before I go. I live with a very minimum amount of people that love to interact with dogs. I sometimes do take care of a very old dog. So, I keep puppy papers near by incase of emergencies. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to run like crazy.
“This is our second booking with Samantha. We’ve never left our cats for an extended period and I was anxious about being gone for a whole week. But Samantha kept us up to date on our babies with photos and videos, which truly contributed to a relaxing vacation. She even sent a video from our koi pond of our fish and growing tadpoles. Our cats looked comfortable and content in the photos and videos which was so nice to see :) She was also a stellar house sitter and went above and beyond. She collected the mail, took out the garbage, and didn’t leave a single dirty dish. The temps spiked right after we left and she was able to install the ac unit in one of our rooms (freestanding unit, no lifting!) to keep our kitties cool. We’re looking forward to booking Samantha again and I think our kitties will be happy with a familiar face as well.”

I have a dog of my own almost 10 years old that I trained and have taken care of and I have had 2 cats, currently have 1 cat now age 10! About: I’ve been a cat lover my whole life and would love to meet yours! I have 3 medically complex 4 yr old kitties with allergies, autoimmune conditions, urinary issues, and anal gland infections. I administer oral pills and liquid twice daily for them, and have experience with subcutaneous injections. The first cats in my life were outdoor cats in rural Michigan. Some of my fondest memories are of the excitement on the bus ride home from school to play with my cat when I got home. While in college, I raised a kitten with my partner at the time and introduced a second cat a year later. They were both super energetic and loved play time with catnip toys! After that, I adopted a senior kitty who ended up being my first medically complex fur baby. She had her remaining teeth removed recently when I adopted her, but we dealt with chronic ear and eye infections as well as inflammatory bowel disease. A few months after she passed, she sent me my current three medically complex fur babies to look after. My experience with dogs is less extensive, but I’d still love to meet yours! Growing up we’d dog sit for my grandpa’s medium sized dog and my best friend had 2 wire fox terriers. More recently, I’ve watched my friend’s tiny chihuahua for a few days who got along well with my cats 🐶🐱 I am starting a new remote job in digital accessibility. I’m expecting to have flexibility to squeeze a visit or 2 in during workday hours, but am happily available mornings, evenings, and weekends 😸🐾 Your pet’s health, safety, and happiness are my top priority as a pet sitter. About: Hi there! I am so excited to finally be making my pet-sitting official with Rover. I am still new-ish to the area after having moved back in with my parents a little less than a year ago (originally from New Jersey, then moved to California for college and work). I have had the pleasure of taking care of my family dog (Winnie the Cavapoo) since we got her 9 years ago. Hanging out with her is one of my favorite things to do, and she truly makes each day better with every walk we go on and every cuddle we share. I've also gotten to dog-sit for some of my best friends and locals while I was in college, and it really helped me whenever I was missing my Winnie girl! My only hope is to provide you with peace of mind that your pup is in good hands with me! My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible! If there is a time/day on my schedule that looks unavailable, message me and I'll see if I can move things around to make it work (as I share a car with a family member). If you need me to come over and pet-sit at your home, I will respect all the rules you provide me with so you are comfortable with having me in your home while I watch your fur baby. Please let me know in advance to your booking if your pet is allowed on furniture, or in certain areas of your home, and what/where are absolute no-go's, so I can remember to keep them away from those areas. If you use a crate with them, please let me know how you use it with them - if they must be crated the entirety of time while indoors aside from meal and potty times, or if for certain periods of time. If you have a backyard that is fenced and secure, I am comfortable with letting them of their leash (if you permit it) so they have free reign to run around, but if it is not an enclosed space, I am not comfortable letting them off their leash, even if they are trained perfectly - just want to be safe and take all the precautions I can to make sure they are safe while with me!

About: I have 19 years of experience volunteering with dogs and cats at three different area rescues. I currently volunteer at Project Hope Animal Rescue Foundation in Gilberts. I also worked for a petsitting service in Elgin for 5.5years, so I have experience with many different types of dogs.
