“I accidentally came across Rover.com in May 2015 while search DoggyLoot.com. This opened my eyes to a nationwide in-home dog care. I saved the link for Rover.com. We planned a long weekend out of town since our friends who had watched Abbi our English Pointer before we're going out of town on the same weekend. I immediately remembered my Rover.com find so I began looking thru the Sitters in our area. I wanted to make sure the Sitter who watched Abbi had experience caring for dogs with special needs and would not mind giving Abbi the love she deserves since she was diagnosed with Cancer last year. I came across our later chosen Sitter Yvette and her 2 wonderful little dogs since her Rover.com photos showed the front of her home. Her home style was very familiar because we ended up living in the same townhouse subdivision. We knew Abbi would be very familiar with the neighborhood so we called Yvette. She insisted that we schedule a Meet and Greet for Abbi. Yvette's calendar was so open and flexible. Since we ended up living a street from Yvette we took Abbi for a very short walk to Yvette's. When Abbi walked in she was immediately at home. Yvette's 2 small dogs and Abbi hit it off from the start by sitting on the couch as the parents joined them to talk. Abbi performed a house tour on her own which Yvette insisted she do and she returned showing she would be happy staying with Yvette. We dropped Abbi off a week later with Yvette who showed her love in dogs from the start. She was able to give Abbi her daily med with no problem. When we came to pick up Abbi she thought we were only visiting. She wanted to stay longer with Yvette. We highly recommend Yvette since she cared for Abbi as if she was her own dog. “Our experience with Samantha was overall amazing! The day before we were due to travel, one of our cats got very sick and our travel day was actually spent taking her to an emergency vet. We didn’t know when/if we would be traveling, but Samantha was super communicative and understanding through all of the uncertainty/changing plans. We ended up cancelling our trip, but we would love to work with Samantha again in the future. About: I have had a yorkie growing up named Daisy! She had a long 16 year life before passing Christmas of 2018. She loved to play with her toys and run around the back yard. About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and shown it in the care I give. I started my pet care experience at 14 by watching family members' pets, as well as my mother's coworkers' animals. From there, I expanded into word-of-mouth clients from friends, and finally opened up a Rover account when I entered my 20s. About: I’ve been a cat lover my whole life and would love to meet yours! I have 3 medically complex 4 yr old kitties with allergies, autoimmune conditions, urinary issues, and anal gland infections. I administer oral pills and liquid twice daily for them, and have experience with subcutaneous injections. The first cats in my life were outdoor cats in rural Michigan. Some of my fondest memories are of the excitement on the bus ride home from school to play with my cat when I got home. While in college, I raised a kitten with my partner at the time and introduced a second cat a year later. They were both super energetic and loved play time with catnip toys! After that, I adopted a senior kitty who ended up being my first medically complex fur baby. She had her remaining teeth removed recently when I adopted her, but we dealt with chronic ear and eye infections as well as inflammatory bowel disease. A few months after she passed, she sent me my current three medically complex fur babies to look after. My experience with dogs is less extensive, but I’d still love to meet yours! Growing up we’d dog sit for my grandpa’s medium sized dog and my best friend had 2 wire fox terriers. More recently, I’ve watched my friend’s tiny chihuahua for a few days who got along well with my cats 🐶🐱 I work from home as a solutions engineer in digital accessibility. I have some flexibility for visits during workday hours, and am happily available mornings, evenings, and weekends 😸🐾 Your pet’s health, safety, and happiness are my top priority as a pet sitter. If you are needing additional potty breaks it will be $17 for each return otherwise I’m offering $100 for an overnight visit that includes being with them all day and unlimited potty breaks. 🐾Schedule 🐾 I’m currently going to school for Respiratory Therapist! I am in person Monday and Wednesday from 7-5 but besides that I am free! 🐾Safety, trust & environment🐾 -I lock the doors the second I get inside the client's home. When I leave the home, I double check that it is locked as well. -I always make sure I leave the clients home clean just the way it was when I entered. -I do not go in places in the home that are unnecessary to the care of their fur babies.

About: Hi there! I am so excited to finally be making my pet-sitting official with Rover. I am still new-ish to the area after having moved back in with my parents a little less than a year ago (originally from New Jersey, then moved to California for college and work). I have had the pleasure of taking care of my family dog (Winnie the Cavapoo) since we got her 9 years ago. Hanging out with her is one of my favorite things to do, and she truly makes each day better with every walk we go on and every cuddle we share. I've also gotten to dog-sit for some of my best friends and locals while I was in college, and it really helped me whenever I was missing my Winnie girl! My only hope is to provide you with peace of mind that your pup is in good hands with me! My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible! If there is a time/day on my schedule that looks unavailable, message me and I'll see if I can move things around to make it work (as I share a car with a family member). If you need me to come over and pet-sit at your home, I will respect all the rules you provide me with so you are comfortable with having me in your home while I watch your fur baby. Please let me know in advance to your booking if your pet is allowed on furniture, or in certain areas of your home, and what/where are absolute no-go's, so I can remember to keep them away from those areas. If you use a crate with them, please let me know how you use it with them - if they must be crated the entirety of time while indoors aside from meal and potty times, or if for certain periods of time. If you have a backyard that is fenced and secure, I am comfortable with letting them of their leash (if you permit it) so they have free reign to run around, but if it is not an enclosed space, I am not comfortable letting them off their leash, even if they are trained perfectly - just want to be safe and take all the precautions I can to make sure they are safe while with me!

She treats them just like her own. One of my dogs was on a steroid and she made sure to give her her medicine and kept me up-to-date on how she was doing. I appreciate the care she gives to them when they are with her.”
