About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my home since I was born. Now I’m raising one of my own, and he’s my soulmate. While I’ve never worked with animals professionally, over my 30+ years of personal experience, I’ve learned the ins and outs, the good and bad, of what it means to love and care for a dog and give them the happy and healthy life they deserve. My desire to give that to any and all animals is a huge part of me. I’ve always just naturally connected with dogs, but I’ve also volunteered at various pet shelters and taken dog behavioral courses. I’ve done pet sitting for numerous friends and family members. Every dog is different, and I’ve found myself to be very in tune to each individual dog I’ve met in order to get to know them and earn their trust. I’d love the opportunity to meet yours! I’m available for drop-in visits and walks. Right now, my open schedule is Monday-Friday during the day, from about 10am-4pm, give or take. I’m generally unavailable in the evenings. For drop-ins, I’d be happy to do feedings and water refills, potty breaks, and of course snuggle and play indoors or outdoors. For walks, we’ll stroll in your neighborhood! Please let me know if your dog has any triggers or sensitivities (loud noises, other dogs, squirrels, humans, etc) and I’ll do my very best to avoid them. I will always take your dog out on a leash. No matter how well-trained and impressive your pup is, I’m just not comfortable with pups I don’t know well off-leash. Harnesses are preferred in addition for large pups.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since the age of 10. I have experience with all sizes of dogs of varied temperaments. I have raised several puppies and have good experiences with senior dogs. I have a calming and nurturing personality and will honor your dogs routines and your rules around their care. I will be very mindful of your dogs temperament. Some need more space and some are very cuddly. I’m retired from a 30 year career as an Occupational Therapist, specializing in elderly care with patients in their homes and skilled nursing facilities. My schedule is very flexible! I have a fenced yard and a friendly small dog. My routine is walking my dog in the early morning and again in the evening. We visit Fernhill dog park 2 times per week. He loves lots of cuddles. He is allowed on the bed and furniture. He gets along with other dogs and likes to play if your dog is up for this. He just turned six. My dog sitting experience has been limited to my home only. I’m motivated to start building a business that I imagine Ioving. I’m easily able to build trustworthy relationships. I’m communicative and can keep in touch with you as often as you like while you’re away. Happy to meet with you to help make you and your dog feel more comfortable.
