Emma took me on short notice, did a quick meet and greet the day before, and then took very good care of him while I was gone. A long walk for Trigger, and she let him play in the river (with my permission of course!) , and then hosted him at her house til I got back. My goal is to maintain a calm, consistent presence so pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. For in home drop-ins, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box or yard clean up, medications if needed, and quality time with each pet. I tailor each visit to the pet’s energy level and personality including playtime, short walks, or quiet companionship. I also provide updates after each visit so owners feel connected and reassured. For dog walking, I focus on safe, structured walks that match your dog’s pace and needs. I prioritize leash safety, positive reinforcement, and a calm walking experience. I have over 425 volunteer hours logged combined as an aquarist with the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter. I have my veterinary assisting certification from Pima medical Institute. Now I am home full time with my daughter and am able to offer your pet all day company and care. I love being a Rover sitter because it allows me to still work with animals. I specialize in boarding your doggies and kitties in my home or going out to your place for drop in visits. It is important for me to provide an interactive experience for your pets and to make sure they feel comfortable. I provide playtime during my visits to burn off extra energy, as well as monitoring potty habits and food water intake. My care procedures are base on your pet’s specific needs and you will always receive updates from every visit. Of course, I am knowledgeable in administering medications in any form and can help access your pets medical needs while you are away. I work but I am willing to align my schedule if you give me 3 days notice in advance, I’m willing to stay in your home so your pets will be more comfortable staying in their own home. About: Upon having taken care of pets for quite some time now. I have learned that all animals need love and compassion like us. I have cared for a variety of animals from mice to snakes and cats to goats. All of the time learning what to do and not to do with every animal.
