“Eileen is fantastic. I absolutely trust her with my home and my family. I have one sweet butterball of a Labrador that a child could walk, but I also have a 95 lb impulsive shelter rescue that needs a strong head a fast eye and a firm hand to be safe. She's not an easy animal to walk and Eileen has complete command of her, and can walk both of these very different animals together at the same time. She's smart, sensible, prompt, professional, and has good strong boundaries with the dogs while still being kind to them. It's absolutely perfect and I'm beyond grateful that she's available to walk the dogs. ❤️🐾💪”

“Lana is great! Very communicative. Keeps me super up to date. Really goes above and beyond when trying to form a bond with a dog. My dog can be a stubborn and shy girl when it comes to new people, and Lana has really taken the time to let my dog get to know her with a great deal of patience.”

“Trigger and I were passing through town, and I needed a pet sitter for a sightseeing opportunity. Trigger has PTSD and anxiety, and can't be left alone. Emma took me on short notice, did a quick meet and greet the day before, and then took very good care of him while I was gone. A long walk for Trigger, and she let him play in the river (with my permission of course!) , and then hosted him at her house til I got back. Excellent, professional pet sitter, and I hope this review brings more customers her way, because she is definitely two thumbs up!”

“Violeta is a very kind caring conscientious dog walker. She is very trustworthy and dependable. She goes above and beyond and was able to help me out in a tight spot when I had to work very late. My dog is always happy when I get home and she lives to see and walk with Violeta! Thank you Violeta!”

About: Been taking care of pets since I was 8 by family, friends, and neighbors. Experience walking, feeding, bathing, and training reinforcement for high-energy or anxious pets. I am home for the summer working part time, so I will have plenty of time to care and play with any new fury friends. I can easily crate or harness your pet if needed. I’ve also worked with aggressive animals and know how to manage situations. Very reliable on following schedules and routines. I make sure they are fed, exercised, given plenty of attention, and kept safe while also keeping everything clean and proving updates to owners.
“Angel takes such great care of our pup! She’s quick to respond and flexible with our schedule. Can tell from the pictures she sends that our dog is happy and enjoys walks with Angel.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets and also have pets of my own who we love so much. Your fur babies will be in good hands! I work but I am willing to align my schedule if you give me 3 days notice in advance, I’m willing to stay in your home so your pets will be more comfortable staying in their own home. I don’t have a fenced yard but I can arrange things to see if your pets will feel comfortable in my home! I do have two dogs.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve also volunteered walking dogs for both PAWS Chicago and the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, so I’m comfortable with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and walking styles. Whether your pup loves a long energetic walk or a slower, relaxed pace with lots of sniff breaks, I’m happy to match their needs and personality. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and helping them feel safe, happy, and cared for. I can’t wait to meet your dog and take them on a fun walk! I believe in the joy of movement; we all need plenty of movement throughout the day to stay happy and healthy! I would love to take your fur baby out for a walk or run so they too can experience the joy of movement. ♡ I am available Mondays: 12-1pm, Tuesdays: all day, Wednesdays-Fridays: 6-9am, and Saturdays-Sundays: 6-10am I have completed the "Fear Free Shelter" training and know how to help your little fur baby to feel free from fear, anxiety and stress.
About: I am mid 40's; active, love my 4-legged kiddos (tri-pod included) like they are my children, and really enjoy working with dogs of all shapes & sizes. I'm currently new to Santa Fe, looking for something more to fill my day. I have always had dogs & volunteered in dog rescue. I currently travel quite often so I thought this might be a flexible way to earn some money & learn more about Santa Fe. I currently have 2 dogs that I walk daily, exercise for their mental stability is so important. I couldn't imagine treating your dog any differently.
About: I’ve helped take care of both giant and tiny dogs since I was old enough to help care for them. I’ve had 3 cats in the past and currently have two wonderful huskies. My family and friend always rely on me to pet sit while they are out of town. I’d love to help you care for your pets as if they were my own family ❤️ I work night shift Monday-Wednesday night and every other Sunday at a hospital but during my off time I have a lot of free time :) (On my working days I am only available 7am-4pm) I will care for pets in a clients home and make sure everything is safe and secure before leaving. I’ll follow guidelines from the client to the T.
“Brittany is INCREDIBLE. She is made to be working with animals! I feel blessed to be able to leave my pup in her care when I’m at work. She’s professional, provides great updates (with photos), and is an all around wonderful human. I am so lucky to have found Brittany to care for my puppy.”

About: I grew up in a household with cats, dogs, small mammals, exotic and domestic birds, reptiles, and fish. I have experience as both a short and long term pet/house sitter. A large portion of my life has been spent working at pet stores, aquariums, wildlife rehabilitation facilities and with animal trainers so I have good background knowledge surrounding a large variety of animal care. By trade I am a biologist with a focus in the marine sciences. As a full-time field biologist, the field part of my job doesn’t allow me time to have pets of my own. So between field jobs I greatly enjoy the opportunity to pet sit since I have lots of time to dedicate to your pet! I feel that pet sitting is a great way to get some animal time in while also helping out. I am very attentive, caring, trustworthy, and dedicated. Every home has a routine and flow all its own, one of the most important things a sitter can do is maintain that rythem while the pet parent is away, and give lots of extra love too. Thank you for taking the time to review my information, I would be thrilled to speak with you about how we can work together to meet you and your pets needs.
About: Just an FYI we can only sit for dogs that are 30 lbs or smaller, due to HOA rules in our condo complex. I have had and cared for a dog most of my life. I have never been dog sitting on Rover for a couple of years now, and have enjoyed it immensely. I love having dogs around. I am a stay at home mom, who is home a majority of the day. Russell, my husband, would also be caring for your dog, and he's great with dogs. We would love to have your pup over for a visit, while you are out of town. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. I do have a 4 year old son. He is great with dogs/pets. He used to dogs being around. We had a dog for his whole life. Unfortunately, our Charlie dog passed away last May. He was 11/12 years old. I am a stay at home mom, with a bookkeeping freelance business, so I am home most of the day. When I do work, my husband is usually home, except on Tuesdays. I have a 4 year old also, so I do have to take him and pick him up from preschool. We live in an apartment. We go outside often, and have no problems take dogs out. Our apartment is clean and tidy. I am good at following directions that may be given to care for you pup.
