About: I'm new to caring for dogs professionally, I've dog and cat sat for my neighbor several times over the last three years. About: Upon having taken care of pets for quite some time now. I have learned that all animals need love and compassion like us. I have cared for a variety of animals from mice to snakes and cats to goats. All of the time learning what to do and not to do with every animal. I've always had animals in my life ever since I was a little girl and I loved to caring for them. I was a foster parent for cats a few years back but had to stop when we moved. About: I have been caring for people’s pets in and out of their homes since college in 2002…. Most recently I cared for 3 dogs and a litter of puppies, which required four trips to the homeowners house per day. I would spend nights over at times to make it easier. The pet owner was a pilot. I have a reference for this too. I have stayed for long stretches of time at someone’s home to care for their pets and small farm. I also have a reference from another client whose dog stayed at my home for several weeks. Her cat stayed over too. I am reliable, flexible and I adore animals. Well, let me tell you… I am a Medicare beneficiary advisor and I work from home! It’s great. I have ample time during parts of the year as well. My home space is fenced in, and large enough to roam and even run. It backs up to an arroyo, where I love to walk. There are also many trails that can be walked. I always do what’s needed and best for the animal and according to the owner’s wishes.

“Getting care for my dogs is usually the most stressful and expensive part of my vacation, but with Lauren it was neither. My dogs love her and didn't tackle me with desperation when I returned. I feel like I get more than I pay for when I book Lauren to walk or watch them, which is so great that I might actually get out of town a little more often now. She's very friendly and personable to people, too! Most importantly, she's extremely reliable. She's very upfront about any potential scheduling conflicts. I get the impression she's the kind of person to under-promise and over-deliver so that there's little chance of miscommunication when it comes to four-legged family. We only had time to meet her once before I left town on a short trip, but I felt totally comfortable leaving her the keys to my home. AND she's a lifesaver. My flight home was delayed indefinitely and she responded asap from work to let me know she'd be able to add an additional walk that night. It was a priceless feeling to not have to worry about my dogs while I was trapped in an airport out of state. If you have the chance to book her before her schedule starts to fill up with regulars, do it!”
