About: Hello! I have been a dog owner and have kept aquariums both as a hobby and professionally for 10+ years. I have over 425 volunteer hours logged combined as an aquarist with the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter. As a personal assistant, baby sitter and dog sitter, I am professional, detail-oriented, friendly and motivated to engage with your pets and give the highest quality care I can. As of this summer, I have graduated with a Bachelors in Biology from UC Santa Cruz, where I worked within two different labs focused on invertebrate and fish research and husbandry tasks, as well as a front desk admin and floor manager at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center. I currently work as a contract field scientist with the Bureau of Land Management, based in Santa Fe. I am currently employed full-time with a nontraditional schedule, and will communicate with you on times I may need to be out of the house for work. I will go over with you a detailed questionnaire to determine all aspects of your pet's care and schedule, and send update messages at least once a day.

About: I’ve taken care of my family friend’s dog for 7 years and have experience feeding, walking, playing with, and keeping pets comfortable while their owners are away. I’m responsible, dependable, and enjoy spending time with animals. I’ll make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available all day on Sundays and Mondays. Pet care fits well into my schedule, and I enjoy spending time with dogs. About: Hi! I grew up with dogs nearly my life and my parents do have a six dogs and two cats. Dogs are Lhasa Apo, Havanese and Yorkshire dog. During my childhood, I have a cocker spaniels but they passed away. I am very affective and attentive to dogs. I know how to teach dogs to sit and lay down with treats. About: Just an FYI we can only sit for dogs that are 30 lbs or smaller, due to HOA rules in our condo complex. I have had and cared for a dog most of my life. I have never been dog sitting on Rover for a couple of years now, and have enjoyed it immensely. I love having dogs around. I am a stay at home mom, who is home a majority of the day. Russell, my husband, would also be caring for your dog, and he's great with dogs. We would love to have your pup over for a visit, while you are out of town. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. I do have a 4 year old son. He is great with dogs/pets. He used to dogs being around.We had a dog for his whole life. Unfortunately, our Charlie dog passed away last May. He was 11/12 years old. I am a stay at home mom, with a bookkeeping freelance business, so I am home most of the day. When I do work, my husband is usually home, except on Tuesdays. I have a 4 year old also, so I do have to take him and pick him up from preschool. We live in an apartment. We go outside often, and have no problems take dogs out. Our apartment is clean and tidy. I am good at following directions that may be given to care for you pup.

About: I volunteered for the internship at Save A Dog in Sudbury, Mass., back in 2020. Helped them clean and gave plenty of lovely attention. I also dog-sat several dogs for four years during college and experienced house-sitting for a lovely couple for three weeks in summer 2024. I love doing my job as I treat them as my own. I will make sure dogs have a blast time and are loved while they are with me. I over-communicate by sending updated texts and pictures, or videos. I would say you come to the right dog sitter here who loves dogs like crazy. Since I got a full-time job on night shifts, I am only available during the weekdays until around 2 and weekends (sometimes for the week!) for any service, I will have enough time to adore and care for your pets. Unless you are okay with leaving your dog with my dog, while I go away for work and my partner will be home at 4:30-5 pm so he can take care of the dogs too (he is also a Rover sitter!) - that is cool with me too. My dog would love the company! I would be more than happy to comply with your request as well. I also have my sweetest 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier and 1-year-old dachshund mix who loves playing or cuddling with others. I am more than happy to accommodate your pets smoothly if needed. Both of my pups are social butterflies! Let me know if you have more questions. To give you the peace of mind your fur baby is both physically and mentally stimulated during our time together. I am very active, love going on hikes and finding new parks in the area! About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs for over 9 years and absolutely adore being around them. I can work on basic trainings for puppies, play hard with them, or give them the long walk they need. For senior dogs, I love to give them all the snuggles and pets they need :) seeing them happy makes me happy. Im currently working part time and have a very flexible work schedule, leaving plenty of time to let your dog out, play, or walk your pup during weekdays. Safety is huge when it comes to me watching your pup. Depending on your dog and safety protocols, I will follow them strictly (only allowed in a fenced yard, always leashed on a walk, etc).

“Getting care for my dogs is usually the most stressful and expensive part of my vacation, but with Lauren it was neither. My dogs love her and didn't tackle me with desperation when I returned. I feel like I get more than I pay for when I book Lauren to walk or watch them, which is so great that I might actually get out of town a little more often now. She's very friendly and personable to people, too! Most importantly, she's extremely reliable. She's very upfront about any potential scheduling conflicts. I get the impression she's the kind of person to under-promise and over-deliver so that there's little chance of miscommunication when it comes to four-legged family. We only had time to meet her once before I left town on a short trip, but I felt totally comfortable leaving her the keys to my home. AND she's a lifesaver. My flight home was delayed indefinitely and she responded asap from work to let me know she'd be able to add an additional walk that night. It was a priceless feeling to not have to worry about my dogs while I was trapped in an airport out of state. If you have the chance to book her before her schedule starts to fill up with regulars, do it!”
