About: I have cared for dogs and cats my whole life so I understand the basics of training and taking care of them. I currently have an orange tabby named Prince who gets along super well with other dogs and cats! No worries if your pet doesn’t get along with others though, I can also have other people watch him while yours stays. I can care for pets whenever, I have classes throughout the week but since I stay on campus I’m never more than 5 minutes walking distance away from my dorm. On average I have about 3 hours of classes per week day so I’m home the rest of the time. I will be able to board always and do dog walks any day of the week. I have reliable transportation as well. My dorm is quite large so I have space to take care of pets, as well as toys and food and a litter box for cats if you can’t bring yours. I also live in a very outdoorsy campus so I can take dogs on long nature walks.

About: Grew up working on a horse farm, have been cat & dog sitting for friends, neighbors, and for hire ever since I had my own transportation. Lots of experience as a foster volunteer working with shy puppies and reactive dogs. Firm believer in the power of mental enrichment and fear-free, positive reinforcement training. I’m and artist, writer, and part time marketer, so I get to make my own schedule. There’s plenty of flexibility in my schedule to ensure your pets get the attention and care they deserve. Understanding pet body language is something I’m really big on; if I see cues your fur baby is getting uncomfortable in any situation, I’ll immediately start looking for alternative ways to help them feel safe and relaxed again. I take instructions from pet parents as gospel, and strive to keep care as loving and consistent as if you would for your fluffy ones.

About: I’ve had dogs of all kinds since I was born and haven’t known life without one by my side. In 2020 my lifelong golden retriever / corgi mix, Goldie, passed away, and since then I have been without a pet. In hopes to reconnect to animals I would like to channel my love into others’ pets. I believe there are countless invaluable lessons we can all learn from paying more attention towards animals. After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design last June, I moved back home to Athens. My parents have a Great Pyrenees named Patch who I help care for, but other than that I have plenty of free time and consistent availability during the week/weekends. I am flexible and willing to adjust to your needs. I can easily adapt to any setup you may have at your home in which you would prefer your pet to stay. I understand the importance of routine and how that can keep your pets comfortable even if you are away. Unfortunately I do not yet have the space to host pets at my home.

About: If your pet needs a new best friend… I’m your guy. I’ve loved animals literally my whole life! My first dog was a Husky who used to give me chaparoned rides in the backyard when I was a baby. Since then I’ve grown up with all kinds of pets, dogs, cats, bunnies, mice, hamsters, chickens, and animals have always just vibed with me! I bond really well with pets of all kinds, whether they’re shy, playful, energetic, or the type that just wants a chill person around. I do this because I genuinely love animals, and taking care of them makes me happy ! It’s something that feels natural and meaningful to me. If you choose me, I’ll treat your pet like they’re part of my own little pack, with patience, attention, and good energy. Whether it’s walks, hangs, feedings, or just being a safe presence while you’re away, I’m here to make it easy for both you and your pet. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m flexible and can work around you and your pets schedule. We’ll find a rhythm that works for both of us. Alongside pet sitting and house sitting, I offer energy healing sessions. About: I have been caring for animals my whole life and I have also spent time volunteering at animal shelters, walking and playing with the animals. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. Family friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and stay with their pets when they are away or during their busy schedules. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I love to get outside and adventure, so I can take your pup/s on local trails like Dale Balls or Atalaya. I'm currently working part-time so I have a flexible and fairly available schedule. Mornings and evenings are always free for me, and the optimal time for walks or adventures. Depending on the day, I can also provide afternoon care and have the flexibility to work with your pets needs. Weekends are also usually free for me and I can provide full-day care or longer outdoor adventures like hikes! I am respectful of boundaries and understand that some pets might be hesitant towards a new person and might need longer to get comfortable. Getting a clear understanding of what comforts and routine the pet has (favorite toy, sleeping spot, treat after play time, etc.) will help me maintain that routine and make sure the pet is as comfortable as they can be. I also have experience with senior dogs who prefer to stay closer to home and can be patient and attentive to their needs. I pay close attention to the behaviors of the pet and communicate with owners if there are any changes to that behavior. It's important to meet the pet once or twice before caring for them to make sure a connection has been established and that the pet is comfortable in my presence.

About: I grew up taking care of a big, sweet lab and spending time with my extended family’s large dogs. Since then I’ve had the privilege of bonding with the dogs of friends and past partners. I’ve been professionally dog sitting full-time for 2+ years, and off and on for 5. I follow the lead of the dog owner with commands and whether to have the dog(s) on leash or not. I’ve had many experiences of simple neighborhood walks, longer hikes in the wild, dog parks, car rides, giving medication, taking the dog to the vet when needed, and lots of playtime and cuddling. :) I love getting to know the unique personality of each dog I care for, and I do my best to make sure they have quality time and care while their person is away. Please provide a clean and welcoming space for my arrival. I am careful to lock all doors/secure your home, bring in your mail and packages, and water your plants.

About: I will treat your pet like royalty! I have a huge fenced in yard with trees and lots of room to run and play. I work from home and nothing makes me smile more than animals. The animals I watch over I give lots of love and attention, as though they were my own. That’s the honest care and love I bring to each new animal I meet. I've always loved animals. When I was a kid I thought for sure I’d be a vet, or animal researcher or zoologist so I quickly became my neighborhood dog walker, cat sitter, fish feeder, bird watcher, snake charmer, etc. the list could go on! Since then, I have enjoyed sitting for friends and family. I’ll never say no to hanging out with a fur ball. I have experience with small and big dogs. I am active, strong, able to lift 100+ pounds and I love to spend time to really get to know each animal's personality. (I'll give them some serious love and attention.) I will give baths, groom and administer meds with precision. Whatever your dogs unique needs are, I’ll meet them. I also have experience with injured animals and newborns (neighborhood kittens have a way of finding me.) Rest assured your dog will be in good, safe, loving hands. If you happen to have cats, look no further. I adore spending time with the feline kind. I’ve cared for several dogs, cats, horses and rabbits for the majority of my life and love animals. Depending on where you live, I love taking dogs for long walks, and know a lot of the Santa Fe parks or places to exercise - my favorite right now being: Rose Park, Smith Park and Frank S Ortiz Dog Park. Please let me know if your animal has any special needs or medications and instructions for feeding and/or bathing. Please only reach out if your dog is 100% house trained, older than one year and plays well with others. I am not able to dog sit dogs who are not house trained or have aggression issues.

About: I adore all critters, and am not scared of the ones with a big bark. I am happy to work with puppies and dogs of all sizes, as well as cats an other pets. I have had animals my whole life including lizards, turtles, fish, rabbits, cats, dogs, chicken and ducks. I have experience with pups of all sizes and ages, and am more than comofortable with the messy bits that come with furry kids. I have lots of experience house sitting and dog sitting and just love having lots of paws in my life. I'd be happy to be helping increase your furbaby's quality of life in an way that I can do so please feel free to communicate any special needs 😊 I do online creative work and photography so where I need to be is inconsequential. I mostly take house sitting booking 3+ days to make it worth my while but your critter willl get lots of my love and attention. I do not host in my home at this time as my cats are actually gremlins and not polite to other creatures. I am happy to care for your pet in your home, where they are most comfortable. I strive to leave your place cleaner than you left it and am happy to do a couple chores to make things easier on you!

About: Dogs are my great addiction. I've owned dogs and walked and trained them all my life, but until I settle into my next job, I can't have a dog of my own again, so I'm petsitting and walking dogs for extra “dog time.” I have trained dogs for decades and now I also walk dogs at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. in the past, I assisted a vets, once in the mobile spay/neuter clinic in the Navajo Nation, and in a few other instances with wildlife rehab and injured animals. I kept all my own dogs into old age and love senior dogs. With my family I raised 2 litters of Shepherd puppies, and Ive fostered mothers and puppies at my home. I am self employed or work part-time and online, so fit my schedule around your dog, cat or housesitting needs. I'm an early riser and love to be outdoors in any weather so you never have to worry that your pet's schedule will be interrupted. Your home is as important to me as your animal family and both will receive loving care and attention from me.
