Our two year old Australian Shepherd Bowie can be a little stand offish with new people, but Melinda made him happy and comfortable and her dog is lovely. My wife and I are from Canada, travelling in New Mexico and while we are normally with Bowie we had a couple of things to do that did not allow dogs! Thanks to Melinda Bowie had two great afternoons!”

About: I've pet sit many times over the years and am generally a reliable person that's easy to communicate with. I don't have any pets of my own right now so I thought this would be a great way to get in more walks and cuddles :) I'm a freelance creative director and I work remotely so I have a flexible schedule for long walks etc. I work about 6 hours a day. I have a fenced in front yard and a quiet cozy home to share with your pup. I don't have any pets of my own right now and I live by myself!

About: I have always been an avid animal lover and have owned and cared for hundreds of pets over the years. I am a regular volunteer at animal shelters and adoption events, and love dogs and cats of all kinds! I have experience with large dogs (I have a super hyper husky), senior cats that have required medication care, timid and shy pets, and everything in between. I also have a demanding tabby - I love cats just as equally! I am new to Rover but have loads of neighbors and family and friends that I have taken long and short-term care of their pets. Long walks, lots of play time, plenty of cuddles, and always making sure their space is clean and cosy. I also love to take pet portraits if you would enjoy that :) I currently work my own schedule so can be flexible with whatever your pets needs may be. If they are boarding in my home, they will have 24/7 attention. I own 5 acres with a good portion fenced in if staying at my home. I love energetic hikes and walks and will cater to your dog's fitness level. I take my own cat outdoors on a harness and would happy to train yours too! Whatever level of care your pet is accustomed to, I will deliver the same while they are in my care.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid, from spending hours a day trying to get closer to abandoned kittens, to stopping all plans to help any stray or lost dog I come across, animals are an automatic yes for me. My friends and family tell me I’m like a dog, in that I need long walks, playfulness, and lots of love to be happy. I’ve raised my own animals out in the mountain wilderness, in major cities, and in small towns, and together we’ve gone on some great adventures. Let me take your beloved pooch on a daily mini adventure! I’m a student completely online right now and have immense flexibility. I won’t walk at night after dark, but other than that I am largely open. Walking is my favorite thing in the world to do, especially with dogs, and I’m excited to get to do it as often as possible. I can take care of your pets in your home with whatever preferences you have. I will participate in the proper command/training that you use, and will treat your home and your fur family with the utmost care and respect. I feel confident taking dogs on or off leash, and love going to the Santa Fe frank ortiz dog park with dog friendly dogs.

About: I take pride in the care i've given to my pets. I've recently owned ferrets and dogs. raised from Pups to seniors. I love Animals! Currently a licensed Real Estate Agent. I may be busy with a client but usually no more than 2 hours at a time. flexible Schedule I have a house with a guest room, that can accommodate pets needing alone time. I have a large crate if necessary. But dogs and cats can roam free if well behaved. I live in a remote gated community that is safe for walking dogs.
