About: I am a mature and reliable person. My special skills comes by experience over time. I have had several feline companions over 40 years and had administered fluids via IV. I’ve had 2 canines. One for 10 years, one for 3 years. One had heart disease requiring regular pilling and anal gland expression. Another was a cockapoo I often groomed myself. I have a good sense when something is wrong. It may not be glaringly clear, but I do pick up on odd behaviors and look out for possible problems. I steer clear of edibles outside, but should I miss it, I can reach into mouths and attempt to remove before swallowing. I have been pet sitting since 2019. I have handled pets with various issues mental, emotional and physical. I love my new job. I am confident I will easily instill in you confidence and trust in me. Your companion(s) is priority in my schedule. My volunteer work, professional and social appointments can be made around their schedule. I am retired and do not NEED to be anywhere. I care for your companions same as you. I pay attention to any communication. I follow all the instructions I am given to the best of my abilities. I call or text if there is a question or situation not covered. I give affection and attention but gauge the appreciation. Watch for problems or changes, including in feces. I will send texts and pics daily.

About: I’ve been around dogs of all shapes and sizes most of my life with various health issues which I’ve been fortunate to learn from. I’ve been raising a now almost 3 year old Rottie pup (Raja); well-versed in training through positive reinforcement and happy to support any training that you are working on while your fur baby is in my care! I send lots of photo updates (I know how daunting it can be to leave your baby with a stranger), and I am always a call away for peace of mind. Know that your pup will be treated as family and very well loved while they are in my care 😊! This is currently my full time gig while I work on becoming a certified herbalist so my schedule is pretty flexible for playing or walking with your pups! I am available Monday-Friday with some weekends depending on the week. I am currently only taking home visits or walks as I get my outdoor area at home more situated! Safety and trust are very important to me, I will never put your dog or myself in any questionable situations, and will make sure our activities are suited to your comfortability. Water and treats are always on hand (let me know of any allergies they may have).

About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life and first started dog sitting as a teenager. I love animals and getting to know their individual personalities and how much joy they can add to our lives! Having the peace of mind that your fur-baby is safe and happy while you are away allows you to enjoy your trip to the fullest. I work part time remotely and pet care will easily fit into my everyday routine as I set my work hours and as such they are flexible I will provide whatever care is required for your pet’s wellbeing with love and patience. Whether they require special care, or just need a friend to walk around the neighborhood with I am happy to help!

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs for over 9 years and absolutely adore being around them. I can work on basic trainings for puppies, play hard with them, or give them the long walk they need. For senior dogs, I love to give them all the snuggles and pets they need :) seeing them happy makes me happy. Im currently working part time and have a very flexible work schedule, leaving plenty of time to let your dog out, play, or walk your pup during weekdays. Safety is huge when it comes to me watching your pup. Depending on your dog and safety protocols, I will follow them strictly (only allowed in a fenced yard, always leashed on a walk, etc).

About: I'm new to caring for dogs professionally, I've dog and cat sat for my neighbor several times over the last three years. While I'm new to taking care of pets in a professional setting, I've cared for dogs of all kinds since I was 10 years old. I've always felt a kindred spirit for animals and treat them with the utmost respect and care. From feeding, to bathing, and walking there isn't any dog I haven't enjoyed taking care of or spending time with. I recently lost my sweet boy who was in my life for seven years as he was an elder dog when I adpoted him and that's what brought me to Rover. I can guarantee your pet will be well cared for with me. I have a pretty open schedule right now since I only work part-time. I'm available after 3 pm Monday - Wednesday and have full availibility Thursday - Sunday to care for your fur baby. I'm available for boarding on weekends and can come to your fur baby as well if they prefer being at home. You can have peace of mind knowing that your fur baby will be cared for with full attention to detail. I can ensure a peaceful and calm environment when caring for your pets especailly senior pets who enjoy peace and quiet. If your pet needs a lot of outside time, walks are my specialty. Whatever your pet needs are I can accomodate. I'm always open to meeting with you and your pet to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.

About: While I have not consistently provided pet care over the years, I have grown up with black labs in my family home, I have assisted my family in being puppy raisers for Leader Dog for the Blind, I have a French Bulldog and Bully of my own, over the years I have also volunteered at different animal shelters, currently at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. All animals, but certainly dogs, have my whole heart. It would be my pleasure and honor to assist in taking care of yours. I’m fairly flexible being able to help out with your loved one. Currently, I’m available throughout the week days and weekends, from morning to evening. For now, I am only able to either drop in or take your loved one on a walk. I treat each animal as my own, they are each so pure and deserve to be treated with compassion and love.

About: Upon having taken care of pets for quite some time now. I have learned that all animals need love and compassion like us. I have cared for a variety of animals from mice to snakes and cats to goats. All of the time learning what to do and not to do with every animal. I've always had animals in my life ever since I was a little and I loved to care for them. I was a foster parent for cats a few years back but had to stop when we moved. I've own a few dogs and enjoy the company they have to give to us. I would be more than happy to take care of your babies and treat them as my own.

About: I grew up in a household with cats, dogs, small mammals, exotic and domestic birds, reptiles, and fish. I have experience as both a short and long term pet/house sitter. A large portion of my life has been spent working at pet stores, aquariums, wildlife rehabilitation facilities and with animal trainers so I have good background knowledge surrounding a large variety of animal care. By trade I am a biologist with a focus in the marine sciences. As a full-time field biologist, the field part of my job doesn’t allow me time to have pets of my own. So between field jobs I greatly enjoy the opportunity to pet sit since I have lots of time to dedicate to your pet! I feel that pet sitting is a great way to get some animal time in while also helping out. I am very attentive, caring, trustworthy, and dedicated. Every home has a routine and flow all its own, one of the most important things a sitter can do is maintain that rythem while the pet parent is away, and give lots of extra love too. About: My pets growing up were 3 dogs Lacy, Maya and Frodo as well as many kitties. Oso was my Cat, we had him from the time I was 4-14years old. We also had a chicken coop we were responsible for, horses that were our landlords but that we fed, and a fish tank with guppies and sucker fish. My 1st gig watching someone else’s pet, was for an elderly woman at my church when I was about 12. Milo was an older golden retriever. I walked him, cleaned his outside restroom area, fed, bathed, and blow-dryed him. Family and friends have always reached out to me for help over the years, I have cared for Rottweilers, pit bulls, small dogs, handicap animals, both cats and dogs. I am great with communicating and accustomed to following the routines their owners have set for them as I believe that is most respectful. My schedule is 8am-1pm. So I am free all afternoons typically Mon-Thursday. Weekend hours vary for me but I am usually available either morning or night. I have stone floors 1 roll out carpet, and live in a non-smoking apartment. I have a small backyard with dirt area and kennel. Willing to do house visits as well! Don’t mind taking dogs to parks in my car either as long as it’s okay with the owner.
