About: Hello! I have been a dog owner and have kept aquariums both as a hobby and professionally for 10+ years. I have over 425 volunteer hours logged combined as an aquarist with the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter. As a personal assistant, baby sitter and dog sitter, I am professional, detail-oriented, friendly and motivated to engage with your pets and give the highest quality care I can. As of this summer, I have graduated with a Bachelors in Biology from UC Santa Cruz, where I worked within two different labs focused on invertebrate and fish research and husbandry tasks, as well as a front desk admin and floor manager at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center. I currently work as a contract field scientist with the Bureau of Land Management, based in Santa Fe. I have a clean driving record and my own vehicle, and am flexible for overnights and check-ins, though do reach out to me to confirm my availability. I am currently employed full-time with a nontraditional schedule, and will communicate with you on times I may need to be out of the house for work. I will go over with you a detailed questionnaire to determine all aspects of your pet's care and schedule, and send update messages at least once a day.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs for over 9 years and absolutely adore being around them. I can work on basic trainings for puppies, play hard with them, or give them the long walk they need. For senior dogs, I love to give them all the snuggles and pets they need :) seeing them happy makes me happy. Im currently working part time and have a very flexible work schedule, leaving plenty of time to let your dog out, play, or walk your pup during weekdays. Safety is huge when it comes to me watching your pup. Depending on your dog and safety protocols, I will follow them strictly (only allowed in a fenced yard, always leashed on a walk, etc).

About: I'm new to caring for dogs professionally, I've dog and cat sat for my neighbor several times over the last three years. While I'm new to taking care of pets in a professional setting, I've cared for dogs of all kinds since I was 10 years old. I'm available for boarding on weekends and can come to your fur baby as well if they prefer being at home. About: Since I was five years old I’ve had a dog. At the age of seven my family moved to a ranch where at one time we had up to 15 catahoula/pitbull mixes, labradors, and German Shepherds. I also volunteered for two years at an animal shelter in Bryan, TX. I have dealt with several dogs of different demeanors as well as given first aid to dogs with various injuries. About: I have grown up with cats pet sat for my neighbors and help take care 14 cats at my dad office I also have a diabetic cat of my own I take care of. Every morning/evening I give my cat his insulin feed him and my other three make sure their litter boxes are clean and let them outside in my backyard for play time. we have a wall guarding our backyard and when letting the cats out I stay outside with them to watch make sure they are safe

About: Just an FYI we can only sit for dogs that are 30 lbs or smaller, due to HOA rules in our condo complex. I have had and cared for a dog most of my life. I have never been dog sitting on Rover for a couple of years now, and have enjoyed it immensely. I love having dogs around. I am a stay at home mom, who is home a majority of the day. Russell, my husband, would also be caring for your dog, and he's great with dogs. We would love to have your pup over for a visit, while you are out of town. Unfortunately, our Charlie dog passed away last May. He was 11/12 years old. I am a stay at home mom, with a bookkeeping freelance business, so I am home most of the day. When I do work, my husband is usually home, except on Tuesdays. I have a 4 year old also, so I do have to take him and pick him up from preschool. We live in an apartment. We go outside often, and have no problems take dogs out. Our apartment is clean and tidy. I am good at following directions that may be given to care for you pup.

I love being a Rover sitter because it allows me to still work with animals. I specialize in boarding your doggies and kitties in my home or going out to your place for drop in visits. It is important for me to provide an interactive experience for your pets and to make sure they feel comfortable. I provide playtime during my visits to burn off extra energy, as well as monitoring potty habits and food water intake. My care procedures are base on your pet’s specific needs and you will always receive updates from every visit. Of course, I am knowledgeable in administering medications in any form and can help access your pets medical needs while you are away. I am more that happy to care for pets that have medical needs or seniors that need this extra care. I know that choosing a caretaker for your pet can be a hard choice so I think meet and greets are a great way to make sure you’re comfortable and know your pet is in good hands! Pets have free range of the main house. There are gated off areas to give the resident kitties privacy. I am home full time. I tried to mimic your pet schedule the best I can in my own home or when I come to visit. I have a fenced in backyard. My dog is friendly with other dogs and cats. I always encourage meet and greets with dogs for safety purposes. I make sure pets do not have access to entry doors.

About: Upon having taken care of pets for quite some time now. I have learned that all animals need love and compassion like us. I have cared for a variety of animals from mice to snakes and cats to goats. All of the time learning what to do and not to do with every animal.
